Looks like we are going to have another rain storm later.I hope it waits until I can go get my hair cut. Had to go get a blood check earlier so I took my camera.Went to a local park on Lake Tarpon where people go to picnic and go out on lake.Here are a few pictures I took of the trees with the spanish moss hanging.One of picnic areas. Some flowers I saw.
I took some pic out front of house but will save them for tomorrow.
I am still doing good with my eating

I can't believe how well I have been doing. It does feel good.
Ok I have to get ready to leave to get my hair cut. Hope you are all having a good day.Sun is shining now but we have had bad storms every day late in the afternoon.
Oh I did see 2 butterflies this morning.Didn't get a picture tho.

    " can relate to not getting anything at Carl's. I stopped at McDonalds to get a drink and I wanted some fries so bad and came real close to getting some.     I love Spanish moss. I took a few pictures of it when we went to Kissimee this year. The kids laughed at me for being a tourist. They said nobody comes to VT and takes pictures of trees. I told them to pay closer attention in October LOL

    Spanish moss always seems romantic (and a little eerie) to me. I first saw it on a trip to Savannah GA when I was in junior high. I was fascinated by it.

I'm in desperate need of a hair cut. I just don't know what to do with it. It's getting so long.

And your new heir cut. I am not going to have mine, it was good for me to have problems with last heir cut, so I try to stay out of this now. I love long heir, but I do not have patience to care for long heir. I wish I shampoo, conditioned, put some lotion to protect heir from sun, and I am done. I am very lazy person.

Made some banana muffins

I had some bananas that I needed to do something with so I looked for a recipe on spark. I found one called Banana Muffin with yogurt. I read the remarks and saw that someone used vanilla yogurt which I had. I rarely use flour so the calories in flour surprised me. 1 cup of flour is 400 cal.Yuck. But I proceeded. Since I quit baking a long time ago I could not find my muffin pans nor cup cake papers.But I found a hearts cookie pan so I used that. The calories are more than I like for a snack.But I will freeze then in 1/4 (39 cal) 1/2 (78) and maybe 2 whole at 155 cal. I did add a 100 cal bag of cranberries in there with about 50 cal of nuts.Next time if I do it again I will add some cinnamon.

My butterfly flowers are doing good but as I said the bees like them better so far
I used the new chopper today and it works great.I like that it has a little handle to lift blade out and handle on cup itself. It also has a thing to push food down which is nice.
Today is my Angel's birthday.She is 37 today. She is next to the youngest. Her younger sister is only 14 months younger.Angel has very dark hair and eyes like me and Rebekah is blonde and blue eyed.I always call them my day and night babies.
Yesterday was another good day.No upsetting calls. And I did good with calories again 6 0

The muffins are a little high on the calorie:satisfaction ratio for my liking. For 155 cals I want something really yummy.
At least they're not the two million calorie cupcake that was in the news earlier this week. LOL Did you hear about that one. I'll post a link

Yuck on that one.

I posted my recipe on Sparkrecipes for "Diet Bran Muffins" which although not outstanding, seem to satisfy. I was surprised to see they came out at 100 calories though. There's hardly anything in them. I rarely make them, but they do freeze well.

Glad you are having another great day. Maybe you'll have to rotate your food demons according to how evil they are on any given day.

    I love my shaped muffin pans. I can use them for cookies too. I even have a smaller one that I use for special ice cubes when we have company over. They're also good for making molded chocolates, which I haven't done in a while. Too many calories. Your muffins look yummy! Do they taste good?

Happy birthday to Angel! It's funny how siblings can be so different. They say my daughter looks just like me and my son just like my hubby. My daughter has my husband's disposition and my son has mine. He's feisty just like me. emoticon

Red Toaster Plus

I was going to wait til tomorrow but couldn't wait to share. To keep the record straight.I paid for the goodies but Bill did the shopping for me.Now I want to find a 4 cup red coffee maker which isn't going to be easy.
So here is the toaster.The food chopper,the immersion blender that came with a whisk too.Plus 2 peelers to save for when the 2 I have break etc.

My immersion blender broke today.I use it a lot when I want to have a smooth soup.
The chopper is much nicer than the one I have as it has a nice handle. Just like Christmas.
I also ordered a pocket food scale that I can take with me when I eat out.I haven't told Bill yet.I will wait til it comes and then show it to him.He may eat at a separate table when we go out to eat emoticon

    I love all of them. I will look at Macy's if they have red. Usually it is Martha Stuart but I love Krupp. Krupp is always black. So love the color! My favorite.

It is funny about eating separately with Bill. Does he like the idea? I do not I love to be with Lev, and I am very funny when he helps me with everything. I just do not like to be alone anywhere.

A Quiet Day

A quiet day is good.No stressful phone calls. very nice.
My desert rose plants are all blooming again.
And a dragon fly was very comfortable sitting on bud of my orchard.
I am still doing good with calorie count.

It is a beautiful day here. Haven't seen any butterflies but bees seem to like new plants.
Bill took the advertisement for toaster with him today. But now I need another immersion blender.Mine broke today.The gears striped and blade fell out.
Well i am a little tired so I think I will go take a nap.
Bill did get his garbage cans back,The neighbors son brought them back.

Did Bill get you the toaster? You'll need to post a picture of it. My toaster is boring white. I want to get stainless steel. I have a real nice Kitchen-Aid mixer and I bought it in the gray in the hopes that my kitchen will be stainless steel one day.

My 1 year Spark Anniversary Video

I promised I would do one today so here it is.If the voice is way off watch it a second time.The first time I saw it I thought about the foreign movies where voices never fit. I love your Crown, it is fantastic. I never wear anything like that. In my childhood no one gave me anything, and later it was considered too silly and ridicules. But not I do like to be silly, do not think I am ridicules, and I love to have this pretty crown on my head. I do not wear gold, love my Cu bracelets, wear shorts ant tons.

I love your idea to wear scales in your purse. It is so funny, I just love it( I am not going to carry scales with me, no way). I love your point to have red toaster. I do not have any so I will look at red one next time I go to Macy's.

You looks fantastic. I have very good time today watching two your blogs, I just smile.

Wish you win Food Demon. i am on your side. 35lbs is great. I lose less then 20 and I am happy.

Thanks for the tip on the yogurt. I've been buying the Yoplait Light, which is very tasty but 100 - 110 calories. I'm bad when it comes to fiber. It goes right through me (if you know what I mean). I know if I eat it on a regular basis it won't hit me so hard. I will have to try the Fiber One. Key lime sounds so yummy!!

I'm sorry, but I laughed when you were talking about the garbage cans. I can just visualize it! We have big garbage bins we had to buy from the village. They're pretty heavy and would take a wicked wind to carry those puppies away. If you go to Home Depot to buy new garbage cans stay FAR AWAY from the garden center. It sounds like you'll be going to K-Mart for that red toaster though. emoticon

Oh Eleni stop, you don't look "yucky". You totally crack me up!
