It has been a so so busy day for me.As most days I do nothing if I do anything it is good.
I used the timer on my phone and set it to go off every 30 minutes for almost all day.When it went off I got up and walked to bedroom and back with my trusty walker.Doesn't sound like much but for me it was.
Yesterday when we went to lunch we went to a place that had a nice lunch special of 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. They had a bean soup and veggie soup that had different beans in it. So I decided to make a big pot of mixed beans from my stock of canned beans. It turned out good but much higher in calories. 1 cup of this is 66 cal compared to my other that is only 60 calories for 2 cups. I made up several 1 cup bags. I usually add extra veggies to my soup when I fix it to eat.So I will mix the two soups instead.
My daughter Angel is having heart problems again. Actually not again.Her existing problem is bothering her.Plus her blood pressure is too high. Doc changed her meds and will do it again in a week if she isn't better.She has been under a lot of stress lately.
Bill is bowling tonight.Hope he does good.
The storm today almost took our gazebo covering off today. Bill had to fix it as best he could for now.
Ok Hope your day went good. Poor Roxy hates storms. I made an exception and let her lay in kitchen with me while it was stormy. She is sitting between my legs under this table now.
Monday is about over but I thought this was cute

cute picture. bean soup is little higher but is good for you. how did Bill do at bowling? i don,t like storms either it,s the lightening i don,t like. that is good walking every 30 minutes it,s better than none aeh!good for you. well i,m going to see how my garden is doing.take care. That's a great idea to set a time and walk around every 30 minutes Eleni, it will make a difference. I love any kind of bean soup and when I made a pot of cabbage soup last week, I put in a huge can of a 3 bean mixture, I rinsed them first then in they went. Oh my, it was delicious soup and I've got several bags of it in my freezer. Our dog does not like storms either nor does she like to be in the house alone. We were just out on the front porch without her, came in and didn't see her. A few seconds later her head peeked out from under the couch, lol, big baby. Report Inappropriate Comment

When it storms I have to hold Punky. He shakes and shakes. He gets that way with fireworks too. I think a lot of dogs get upset when it storms. Report Inappropriate Comment

Hi Eleni......... I like your timer idea. I am going to use it tomorrow to remind me of not only my regular exercises but also my PT exercises for my rotator cuff. It is so easy to put them off and then at the end of the day, I am so tired!!! I have noticed more pain in the cuff area today and I KNOW why........I lifted a heavy object that I shouldn't have yesterday and I felt it right away........DUMB!!! My dogs are the same way during a storm..........they just can't get close enough. It's been so long since we have heard thunder and seen lightening.........I wonder if they remember it???? I hope that Angel's doctor can find medications that will help her. She has had so much stress and we all know what that can do. I will keep praying for her. Loved your little dog.......... We went to Wal-Mart and did some shopping.
My scale finally broke and I have to have a scale.I have had a very expensive Health O Meter for several years. It weighs up to 350. We picked up a floor one for $30 bucks. It is not as easy to see as my old one.The old one had an attachment that we hung on a nail at face level.This one we have to see over our bellies.
We also got a new toaster oven. I bought one some time back that had toaster and oven both.But oven part was too narrow. So we only used toaster part. So we got a toaster oven big enough to use oven part.
Also got an electric can opener as mine also quit working.And a couple other little things.
We are now watching Footloose.

Love the poem. Also does your new scale weigh you the same as the old one? I know that for some reason i have 2 scales and one weighs higher than the other. I use that one as my main scale just to be sure i don`t pick the one that weighs me less. Report Inappropriate Comment

Hi Eleni........ Sounds like you had a good outing at Walmart. I have to go for a PT session on Wednesday and Walmart is right across the highway, so I have already started making a list so I don't forget anything. Are you watching the "Old" Footloose or the "New" one? I really liked the old one with Kevin Bacon. I took our oldest son to it in the theater and at the end, EVERYONE was up and dancing in the aisles. It was so much fun!!! I did go to grocery store and we had lunch before. We both decided to go back to spitting our lunch sandwiches when we go out.We use to do it all the time. So I had a cup of soup,1/2 sandwich and about 8 fries or less.
Here are some pics. There are a couple I may had shown before. I am not sure. Unfortunately I don't have a variety of things to photo.
My manarda is getting more blooms so hopefully some hummingbirds will find them.

Hi Eleni......... I didn't think it was possible, but Abigail looks even more precious sleeping. We took Elizabeth tubing behind the Pontoon today and she absolutely loved it. Then she swam for an hour and the next thing we knew, she had curled up in a corner of the pontoon on the way home and was sound asleep. She goes full throttle, but then she just drops and goes to sleep immediately. I would give anything for that energy. I would be dangerous!!!!! Take care and have a great Sunday. Another Quiet Day

Bill took the stand back to cake place and got very upset with lady. He told her the icing was wrong and she said they decided to mix their chocolate with the choco fudge. Bill told her that is not what we ordered.Then asked why number was white, She decided it would look better. Bill again said that is not what we asked for.He told her about missing flowers that were suppose to be in corner. She kept making excuses for everything. He finally just got so mad he asked for our $15 we had to give her for platter and stormed out. And e never loses his temper. He thought she should have offered a small refund in good faith but didn't. This was a very expensive cake.Like someone said he saved me as I only ate one small piece.
Brianna came to clean with her mom today.She has dyed her hair even redder.It is florescent red . I asked her if she glowed in the dark.Grandpa picked on her too. But she was a good sport.
I actually made up the grocery list tonight. Three things that I normally always have coupons for are on sale. It happens some times. I try to have coupons for the bogo stuff.
Well thats about it. Time to play my facebook games and chill.

Sorry to hear Bill was so upset and the lady should have been more customer orientated than she was. After being in the retail business my entire career I would never make a customer upset, some people just don't understand if it is not for the customer they would not have a job. Hi Eleni....... That is so frustrating when you give someone explicit instructions for what you want on YOUR cake and they make changes according to what THEY want. I really think that she owed you a refund or at least a gift card for a free cake of the same size in the future. Was she the owner? I might have talked to her boss if she wasn't. If the cake is expensive, you didn't get your money's worth! I don't usually get upset easily, but this person is in a business to serve you to the best of their ability.......and they didn't do that. Whoa, my hubby is even tempered with people too but when in a situation as Bill was over the cake, I know Rolly would blow his stack too! Bill was totally in the right. We had a quiet day too Eleni and meant to tell you that I used that stand I bought to bag my soup tonight and it didn't work well! After putting about two big spoons of soup in a bag, the bag would drop down out of the stand, grrrr. Back to my old and better ways to bag my soup! Sleep well tonight and enjoy your weekend! Quiet Day

Nothing much going on today. Got cake cut up and will give it to part of the kids that live near. It looked pretty and was very expensive but tasted not so good. Was very disappointed in it. But the renewal was very nice.
Haven't done much of anything together.
