Bill rented another tape but neither of us liked it. So I am watching next network food star I taped the other night.
I had a great surprise when I looked out the window today.One of my plumaria's has bloomed. Bill was sweet enough to take the pic as it is a little cloudy and pics don't take good thru window. He also took a couple of pictures of my lonely little orange tree I talked Bill into getting me.


Again I can't show you the orange tree. It says the file is too large.This is second time I have had this problem.
Oh well here are a couple others



I have to figure out why I get a big file some times.It did it on a small plant the other day.

I love the photos - especially the plumaria and the orange tree. Do you have a fig tree? They don't grow in the part of the country very well but I love figs. Hi Eleni.......... I want that sweet little Police Patrol girl to show up on my doorstep!!!!!!! She has the most beautiful eyes. Love the Plumaria. I have never had one. As soon as I finish here, I am going to finish Nola's (new baby) blanket and mend a Spider-Woman costume for Elizabeth. She is invited to a SuperHero Birthday Party next Sunday and we were lucky enough to find this costume at a Garage Sale on Friday. Grocery Day

I hate making the grocery list. If I stuck to it my bill would be lower. I had what I thought was a smaller list but we both added stuff.I know it goes back to days when I couldn't afford food. Now I keep cabinets, fridge and freezer full.
Bill is really getting into getting dvd's out of red box's. It is cheap and comes in handy when nothing on TV and we don't have our net flix dvd. I finally made a list of dvds we have watched and now have to make one for red box. It is hard to believe how many we have watched. 90 from netflix so we have made good use of it.
It was pouring rain this morning but turned out to be a beautiful sunny day.
Bill is grilling our supper tonight. We split lunch today and I did ok.
He now bowls on Monday nights since his friday league quit for the summer.
Only a few pics.Here are the 3 size cups I have.One on left is just for long trips and fits car cup holder,middle one I use in house,little one can be for coffee or when you just want a small drink.

nice pictures , supper sounds yummy i love mushrooms and onions together.i can eat a big plate of mushrooms yummy. making me hungry. i go to dentist tomorrow to get two teeth filled they are aching for 3 days so i had to phone and get a appointment . so there is another big bill. i,m the same way with a grocery list i always gets more.have a super day. We keep the pantry (and freezer, and firge) full too, and I do buy stuff when I browse the grocery store. It usually comes in handy, but we often have too much to eat right now, so some gets thrown away. Report Inappropriate Comment

I know what you mean by days will no money and now having stocked cupboards, fridge and freezer. But it turns out it is not so much me but my husband. He doesn't eat much at all, so weird. He says he remembers what it was like going to bed hungry as a child. And he won't have that fo his kids. So food is always in this house. WTG in making a list and doing your best to stick to it. Hi Eleni......... Ken rented 2 movies from the Red Box this afternoon. It is very hot and humid here, so he decided that it would make more sense to relax and watch a movie than to sweat to death working on his boat in the hot garage. We rented EXTREMELY LOUD and INCREDIBLY CLOSE and RED TAILS. I just listened to the first one while I worked on Nola's baby blanket. I knew that it would be somewhat sad and I don't do well with sad movies, but it really dealt more with the boy's Aspergers and was very well done. Your steak sounds great. Eleni, just like you, I never had enough money for food till Rolly came along and my sister has told me that's why I HAVE to keep my cupboards, fridge and freezer full all the time. I wish I could get over that feeling cause I know we're never going to starve! It's a throw back from leaner times. I'd love to have a steak and might wait to get a small one the next time we go out to eat. I love it with mushrooms and a small baked potato, oh yummy, lol. Had A Good Weigh-In

I lost 3# and that makes me very happy. It tells me my small loss last week wasn't how much I ate but what I ate the day before. I was careful about too salty foods the night before. Counting calories will work. Plus I set a timer for 20 minutes when ever I eat to try to eat slower.
Bill took Roxy to vets for her bath today and I like Petco better. Cost the same only get a coupon for $5 to use next time at Petco. But vets is much closer.
We went to Wal-Mart to get me a new bra. As you know I rank that up there with getting a bathing suit. I had a article that told how to get right size.Well I must not have done it right as my floppy boobs did not fit. So I came home and went to JMS web site. They told how to do it just a little different and I think it will work. So I ordered one and have my fingers crossed.
We got some hummingbird water that is ready to go so we don't have to mix any.
Then we both got Bubba Cups. I have 3 sizes and I love mine.One big one for house and one that will fit in car holder.Plus a small one.The car one is if we take a trip which we seldom do so it is like new.But big one isn't sealing so good. Bill decided he wanted one as he knows they keep things cold for long time. The size is deceiving. It says they are 32 oz but that must be without any ice. As I know with ice if you put one 16 oz soda in it you are about 2 inches from top.So it actually holds about 20 oz of liquid with ice in it.You can not put in dishwasher.

Hi Eleni......... on your 3# weight loss. I have to get back on track and keep better calorie counts. The minute I have a bit of stress in my life, I slide and even though it isn't a major gain, there is no loss either. Our dogs do the same thing. They are guardians of the lawn!!! Nothing goes through without their approval. I know that the dogs are the only reason we have as many flowers as we do. The deer go around us instead of through...... I am hearing more thunder in the distance. We have had rain and storms for 3 nights in a row now. I am NOT complaining! We need the rain bad!!! After our heat wave in March, all of my flowers are way ahead of schedule. At this rate, we won't have anything left but Cleome by July! Your Cleome look very healthy. If you would send me another cutting from Big Mama, I would gladly pay the postage. The two that I have been nursing along, just aren't doing anything. They are very pale and I don't think I can save them. If I sent them back to you, they would probably pull through and look like Big Mama in a very short time. Will close for now. Take care. Not much going on. I am a little uneasy about weighing in tomorrow as I got off track a few times this week.
Today was good if I can be good the rest of the night.
One of Angel's long time friends mother passed away yesterday. A very nice lady that not only raised her kids she adopted 4 foster kids to keep them from being broke up. But like it is here with Angel only Stacie took care of her Mom.
We tried out one of those red boxes today. Just wanted to see how it worked.We can use it inbetween our netflix. Worked ok.It had to be easy because Bill did it. We watched One for the Money. Cute movie.
Not much on TV tonight. Watching NASCAR undercover boss.
Ok hope you are all doing ok.

Elizabeth went home to her parents and new baby sister this afternoon. On the way, she asked us if she could just stay for one more night. I am so glad that she likes being with us. We aren't planning anything big for Memorial Day weekend as we are both tired and it is supposed to be 94 and humid on Sunday. Nothing shuts me down faster than high humidity combined with heat. Hard to hide my bad days from Bill when he is home all day. Spent most of day napping. It just happens. I call it my heart showing me who is boss and it ain't me. Feel much better now.
Tonight is Bill's mac and cheese night from Domino's. But I was good and didn't order anything. I did take one small bite of his and it is way too good but about a million calories.
Instead I had a shrimp/pasta dish I made for myself. Less calories fat etc.
Was starting to get off track with my eating so i am reining it in quick.
No pictures as Bill has been at my computer and he never looks outside.
Just got a weather alert that we have a bad storm headed this way with hail and high winds.So far it is just raining.

Good for you. I saw my dr and he suggested replacing 2 meals a day with atkins bars. So I am going to try. He says he lost 30 lbs doing that. (I have a large dr so I don't feel so bad going to him heehee) Report Inappropriate Comment

Hi Eleni....... I have missed talking to you. I am VERY tired, but VERY happy with our new little girl. She looks just like Elizabeth did at that age and they both look like our son did at birth. Elizabeth is still here and we are tired but loving every minute of being with her. I am so glad to hear that you are taking care of yourself and that you are resisting temptation and sticking to your calorie plan. Good for YOU. We have severe storms all around us tonight.
