Another quiet day.
Bill went and watched a horse shoe tournament. He will be doing that before long. He is good at that too.
I will be cooking a small piece of lamb tomorrow. Had to call my sister to remind me how to do it. I forgot rubbing it down with lemon. She uses a cooking bag and I will try that as I have one I can use.It is very expensive.
I made some banana pudding and it was too much. I have to get rid of some of it.Instead of a big bowl I made 2 soup bowls with bananas and vanilla wafers and two tiny bowls of just pudding for Bill.Wish I could freeze one but that won't work.
Ok Picture time.
Here is Roxy eating the rest of my popsicle last night.

That's her tongue wrapped around it

Bill opened window by computer and was teasing Roxy.I was afraid she would try to jump thru window

Just chilling in yard

Bill and Roxy are sound asleep taking a nap in his chair. emoticon
Bill said he bought me something special for tomorrow but I can only take a picture of it to show you. Really. Like that is going to happen. emoticon
We hit 90 degrees today. I dread summer.
Happy Easter to you all

Happy Easter Eleni. Sure wish you could send some of that heat to south GA as it was chilly yesterday and again this morning. We are dreading the summer too as not enough cold to kill those pesky knats and mosquitoes. Roxy sure is happy with the temps. ((HUGS))

Another uneventful day.very warm.It was 86 a few minutes ago.We had very little winter. It looks like a very hot summer is coming.
My plant is now completely bloomed and has a very strong smell.Almost too strong for in house. I put it out on patio a few minutes ago.
The butterflies are starting to come back.

Weather beautiful here. Scary down Dallas/Ft. Worth way a couple of days ago. That is about 2 1/2 hrs from our house. We did get 3.6 inches of rain.

  Hi Eleni.......
Your Hyacinth certainly did bloom fast. I have purple ones in my garden and I am hoping that they make it through tonight. We are in danger of having a hard freeze tonight. We covered some of the plants with sheets but didn't have enough for all of them.
I am ready for butterflies to come back to my yard because it will mean that the warmth is here to stay. We were so spoiled in March by temps in the 80s. Next week they will be in the 40s.
Take care.....

The white flowers are beautiful. We haven't noticed any butterflies yet in our area. Can't wait to see them. I agree--not much winter and really dreading the summer with heat and mosquitoes--they are already swarming in our area too.

I love the white Hyacinths and their fragrance sure can be powerful! I usually have just one in a pot and sit it on our kitchen table.

Lovely photos of the butterflies and outdoor flowers too. We have a few months before we'll have a lot of flowers out there.

Have not done much of anything today. Took a few pics out of window and that is about it.
Brianna has been helping her mom and doing a good job. So she will start doing it here and I will pay her. Angel has so much trouble keeping good help. I have been telling her Brianna could do it.
The plant started blooming right away. I thought it would take days but it only took hours

This was taken with my phone which doesn't take good pics but I thought this was cute

Misc pics.
Can you spot the two butterflies on same plant in first pic

And you know I like dragonflies

Hope you are having a great day

  Hi Eleni.........
To answer your question from my Spark Page, I would allow the plant to live as long as possible. After the leaves turn brown, I would remove the bulbs and clean the soil off of them. Make sure they are dry and then store them in a paper bag until you are ready to plant them again for Spring. With your climate being so different from mine, you might want to call a Green House to see if you can actually have them bloom sooner. The longer the leaves of the plant stay green, the stronger the bulbs will be so don't remove the leaves too soon.

All of our tulips and daffodils are in bloom as well as our flowering fruit trees, because of our warm Spring. The next few nights are supposed to get below freezing, so we could lose some plants. I was afraid that this might happen.

Our dogs don't know they are dogs either........

I can not get the link to eagles to work here. But put Decorah Eagles and you will see several sites.Find the best one for live streaming.
I just checked and all 3 are in front of momma .These 3 have gotten stronger faster than the last babies she had.
My son Ben and his wife Tammy brought me by a Hyacinth plant which I do not know anything about taking care of it.

Watching DVd called The Immortals. A lot of blood and gore. Not so sure I will watch it all.
I made chilli for supper. It must have been good because Bill got extra and he never does. He will pay for it later. emoticon

  Hi Eleni.........
Enjoy your Hyacinth plant indoors and then put it out so it can bloom again next Spring. Mine also spread so I have MANY plants. They are beautiful. You will probably have to plant the bulbs in the ground (I do here) but living in Florida, they may come up again in a larger container.
Our Easter picture of Elizabeth when she was 2 is PRICELESS!!!!! She is leaping out of the bunny's arms and screaming at the top of her lungs. The next year she was fine.
Very cute Grands' pictures. I want to take that little Abigail and keep her. I will be meeting my second grand-daughter in May and am getting anxious.
Your Chili sounds good. It was cool here today and Chili would have been welcome.

My 3 year old GS was supposed to get his 3 year old pictures done on Saturday at Penneys and when his parents took him there he was so scared of the person with the Bunny Suit on they had to re-schedule it. They told me he talked about how scared he was the rest of the day but likes all the Star Wars and Super Heroes figures. I guess that is just normal for some little kids. Abigail is growing up so fast as is my sweet GS. I love your Hyacinth plant and I don't do much gardening so don't know a thing about taking care of it. You could google the question and find out some information on them. Take Care.

I had a small Wendy's chili for lunch today. It hit the spot.

The plant is interesting. I can't wait to see pictures of it when it blooms. I wish I had a greener thumb.

Addi saw the Easter Bunny at Wal-Mart this past weekend. He/She was walking around and she was creaped out. They offered to have her sit on their lap but one look at her face and we knew it would be a bad idea. She didn't like Santa either.

Abigail is my type of girl, a chocoholic!! LOL Did you know that they have chocolate covered Jelly Belly's? 5 different flavors and they are YUMMY!!!!

I get Hyacinth plants in the pot like that Eleni, I just keep them in there until they fully bloom then I plant them in the flower garden . . . or I used to! We get cold winters here so they'd come up every Spring. I love their scents!

Cute children in your family, even the little stinker Abigail, lol.

I LOVE chili but hubby doesn't anymore, says it upsets his tummy. Maybe I should make some and freeze it in packages just for me ... good idea!

Still feeling very tired. Looks like this is going to be my normal.
Just looked at the eagles and one baby has got out of nesting hole.I hope it gets back. She was feeding 2nd and ignoring it. I hope it gets back where it should be.
Our weather is starting to get very warm during the day.
Here are some more pics of small orchid that has almost all of buds blooms and another getting ready to bloom soon

And this is Roxy refusing to come in house when I first called her. I finally showed her I am boss

And this isn't real clear as it was sent to my phone. But it shows that Abigail is a handful. Too funny.

Nothing new going on. Going to watch DWTS and tape Bones.

I really enjoy reading your blogs. Love the pictures and the information about flowers, etc. My daughter and I watched a live video feed of an Eagle for two years in a row. One time the mom sat on the eggs for what seemed like ever and they never did hatch :( I did a little research and apparently this couple laid eggs ever year and they hadn't hatched in a long, long time due to the mom being advanced in years. Can you imagine trying again and again and again? I guess that is a good motivation! The other one we watched we were rewarded with three little eaglets - they are so fuzzy and adorable!!

Have a wonderful week,
