It has been a quiet day.I didn't get up til noon and went back for nap at 3.
had pork chops,mashed potatoes,spinach for supper.First time we have had mashed potatoes in a long time.
I had a little mishap with a knife last knife. It flipped off tray and point hit my leg. Just a tiny knick but had to put tight bandaid on it. This morning it was fine. after I was up awhile I thought I felt something lightly run down my leg. I thought maybe I had started bleeding but I wasn't. I have actually been having small drops of water come out of leg. My sister said it happened to her before but I never had but now I have. I guess that is one way to get rid of fluid.Ok I am watching DWTS and need to work on making med bags.

Hi Eleni........ Please check with your Dr. re: the water........I have NEVER heard of water just coming out of a leg. Please check and then let me know what he/she says about it. Do you have any favorites on DWTS yet? Of course, being from Wisconsin, I do have an interest in Donald Driver doing a good job. He has always been one of my favorite Packers.......he seems like a genuinely nice guy. The one that really stands out so far though is Mark's partner (the Classical Singer from England). She is phenomenal! Ken thought she was one of the Pros! Take care of yourself. Put all of your knives away........Ken already put all of mine away........(for his own reasons). becareful with those knives they bite haha.i always nick my fingers or that dam new potatoe peeler i took batterie out of it i use it by itself.still sharp though.it takes me longer i think peeling with that instead of orinary peeler.most of the time i do potatoes with the skin.but not mash.do you? Don't you know that knives are scary stuff? I am suprised with all the cooking that you do that you haven't maimed yourself before this. I think maybe the fluid is coming out because it saw what you did to your leg and got scared that it was next. You never know. That is weird though. DWTS is pretty good this year. I have been recouping from yesterday. I had planned to go to grocery store with Bill but just wasn't up to it. So he headed to store and I headed to bed. Worked for me. He couldn't find a few things but nothing I am in hurry for.

Had a great weekend, thank you. Friday night dinner with my girlfriend who is moving back to Iowa on Monday. Saturday went to my sister's and did her and her daughter's taxes. Sunday morning went to the casino with a couple friends. We had lunch there and I walked out with $5.00 more than I went in with!!! Then went grocery shopping and home to do do laundry. Plants Are Repotted Finally

Well it wasn't easy but we finally got it done. Bill made a great plant repotting station from my old bed step he made years ago. It was perfect level. He did the heavy work.I took plants out of old pots and took all old dirt and root bound stuff off.Then I placed in pots. We ended up with 11 pots plus a repair to my largest christmas cactus.First is old plants.The little orchid has one bloom and other pot has a small flower.


The christmas cactus had a big piece in back that was bad so pulled it out and added some more soil.This was a doctoring

These were in a shallow pot and kept falling over

You can't see them all but there are 10 pots in a row here

We both needed a nap but all that is left is putting orange tree in ground. I told Bill to ignore directions and just stick it in ground. He did everything they said to do with magnolia tree and I think it is smaller now. I get one bloom a year.

We have a great big avocado tree and actually get about two avocados a year. The tree starts out with hundreds, then sheds all but six to ten, and then someone comes along and steals all that they can reach. It's frustrating. Report Inappropriate Comment

I was suppose to get my plants repotted but didn't happen. Brianna is sick so I told Angel to not come. Looks like Bill and I will have to do it afterall. You would think that we would have all kinds of help with 8 kids.Those that would live too far away and others never offer. Yes it does bother me sometimes.
We had baked wings for supper. But made way too many. You know what that means. We ate too many.
Bill surprised me by getting the domino game out last night. We play the mexican train and it always takes 2 nights and sometimes 3. So far he is killing me.I got caught with double zeros twice . Hopefully when we play later I can do better
OK Just stopped by to say hello.
Oh To Robin, Have you ever seen the huge hairy mystery whatever in your area. I watched a program on it this afternoon and there have been a lot of sightings in your area.

The BW got her plants repotted (she bought seeds and a starter tray) and I had to dig the holes for them. Yesterday she said she was running out of potting soil, so I went to Home Depot for another (40 pound) bag. Today she has some of the old bag left over, so the new bag is just parked against the east fence. She planted hollyhocks between each of the shrubs that I planted along the east fence last year, so she will get a hedge on that side faster (I think). We both over-indulged on wings last night...I'm guiltier, as I bought mine. They weren't baked and I had fries with them! Today's another day,Scarlett! My son (Larry's oldest) is coming tonight to get some more of his daddy's tools. I'm trading them my big freezer for their little one, as I don't need it anymore. He takes care of alot of stuff for me, as he's handy like his daddy. The problem is he's willing but works 6 days a week and lives in Leesburg, Florida. My son lives in Tennessee, so he stays off the hook and Jenny (in town)doesn't have much time with work and the kids...but will help if I ask her. I know the frustration of not being able to do what I once could do for myself. Larry was such a hard worker! My competitive spirit loves games, too. May you be the Domino Dominator today! Hi Eleni......... I know what you mean by kids not helping. Our oldest son is extremely busy with his job, one child, and a pregnant wife, but if we really needed him, he would be there. Our youngest son has ADD and we have NEVER been able to count on him. We feel good when he does well at work or in his personal life. Life has always been a battle for him, so we know that we can't expect much. We do ask though and when he can help, I know that it makes him feel better about himself. Eleni, that sounds so familiar. We have 1 daughter and 3 dgd's locally and we are very lucky if they follow through what they promised. When the other 2 children (live 4 hrs away) come, too busy catching up with everyone to come much help out of them. lol Have fun playing dominoes and replanting the flowers. I am now on my laptop. I did the other one on main computer. I had to use it as it has my photo program for triming etc. I will admit I said many un ladylike language. I got a new cordless keyboard for out there and it is a nightmare. I made the mistake of buying a cheap one.You get what you pay for.
I had to get bloodwork done today so had to leave house. We had lunch and then headed to Home Depot to get more potting soil.Couldn't resist buying a few more plants. Brianna is going to repot plants tomorrow. Hope she doesn't back out on me.
I even ordered some coneflowers.My old ones are not coming up and they are butterflies favorite.
Have no news on Tamara or Joy so hopefully no news is good news.

I am so angry with my association I will do no plants this year. I have 2 christmas cacti, a tiny jade plant, a spider plant and 2 tall cacti with leaves at the top and a small saguaro at work on my windowsill. I will try to take pictures and post them. Getting the cheaper one made me think of the Kuerig coffee maker I treated myself with...I bought the least expensive one instead of the middle one. It makes a good cup of coffee, but my large cup doesn't fit and I have to brew it twice. The water doesn't heat up as fast(2 minutes. Instead of taking it back, I use the extra waiting time to empty the dishwasher! I love the passion you have for nature. When you share it,you bless me! I have the two grand darlings today, the weekend, and 3 days next week...spring break. Say a prayer! I'm going to take them to the park today, with some peanut butter sandwiches and drinks. Hi Eleni....... I bet it felt good to be out and about today. Nothing picks me up like a trip to the plant area of Home Depot. I am very dangerous there.......especially if I am alone!!! We finally got some rain today which forced me to stay in the house and catch up on some cleaning. My floors needed scrubbing and Elizabeth will be here most of the day tomorrow, so I wanted to get that done before she comes. Will close for now as I want to get to bed a bit earlier tonight.
