I had a bad eating day yesterday.let my emotions get the best of me. But I am doing very good so far.
We are having a little weather change and may have cooler weather for a few days. High 60's in the day and 50's at nght. Not bad at all
Here is pic Bill took of Landon and Roxy.I was hoping to get some that Heidi took.It is a little blurry but you can see they are mouth to mouth.
Landon was the agressive one altho he was very gentle. Roxy was so good with him
Here are some Santa pics of landon etc. I loved them all so I will bore you with all of them.







Heidi has been so good about letting Landon know who we are.

It has been another boring day. I did finally get my meds made up for 3 weeks.I hate making the bags up as bad as I hate taking the pills.
I am doing ok with my eating.
Here is an old poem but a good one.

Hi Eleni........ That was a great poem. I am going to copy it and put it in several locations around the house to motivate me. I am tired tonight! I have had a cough for the past month that is NOT getting any better. It is a dry tickle and is worse at night. I guess the time has come to consult with my Dr. to see if there is something else I can do to get rid of it. Well as some of you are probably going thru I have had a big food hangover. But I have been good all day.
We had a great visit from Angel and her new boyfriend.And than Heidi,Heather Scott and Landon came. Landon is now talking up a storm and best of all he gives hugs and kisses.We had so much fun watching him with Roxy.Roxy was so good.As landon got more comfortable with Roxy he got more hands on. He finally got brave and took roxy's nose and mouth in both his hands and Roxy just stood there. Then all of a sudden Landon sticks his tongue out and puts in right on Roxy's nose.Then it was a kiss fest with the two of them.We were all laughing so hard.Landon would stick his tongue out and and so would Roxy.Landon's dad is a germaphobic and he was dying.Will have a picture tomorrow.

Glad Roxy was very good for Landon. i don,t think Landon is afraid of germs. lov to been there to see that. i got lot of my Christmas Shopping done.so today going to do dad,s christmas shopping.mostly gift cards and money and something small to open i guess.Got my neice a gift card to get her nail done she like,s getting it done.she like the french look and sometimes she gets them painted.with me the nail polish would come off faster than when it got on with cleaning stuff.glad you had a good day and hopefully a good one today and tomorrow.take care. Hi Eleni.......... How adorable is that!!!!!! Isn't it fun to see the Grand Kids playing with our furry friends? Our older dog, Tyke, just is not used to having kids around and they make him a bit nervous, so we keep him in another part of the house when Elizabeth is here. Miki is younger and loves Elizabeth too much! The minute she is within reach of his tongue, he showers her with kisses. She squeals and pulls away, but she loves it! I am afraid that I am suffering from a food hangover too, but haven't done too badly today. Ken has actually OFFERED to go Christmas Shopping tomorrow, so I may get some exercise in then. I also got way off track the last 2 days but today I'm doing well and want to stay within my calorie range. I'm curious as to how old Landon is as my GS is 3 in January and loves our dog Snoopy. When he was a little younger he did close to what Landon did giving the dog lots of kisses and hugs--his Mom is germophobic too so she put a stop to it when she saw it. This is my 2nd try.My first one would not upload.I have to figure out why as I see other videos that are long.My 1st one was much better.
I was disappointed the first one wouldn't upload.
I hope you are all enjoying being with your families.

Dreary Day

Dreary day was bad enough but I just lost my blog. I get one done early and poof it's gone. So now you get a short version.
I am sure you are all getting busy getting ready for tomorrow. We will get takeout and plus Angel will brings s plates to so we will have a good meal and even have leftovers with no cooking to do.Can't get better than that.
I just recently found out that there is a new spark cookbook. i don't need a cookbook as you can now get anything on the web now.And spark is full of recipes. I ordered it to support Spark. It is way more than a cookbook and it is large. It has a little of everything i it.It would make a great gift for a on cook. It is a combination of the spark book and recipes book and good info book. I am very happy i ordered it

I don't have much blooming but these two plants are.


My christmas cactus's will soon be blooming. I love to see them full of blooms

And I still have some blooms on big momma

Hi Eleni...... We are home and stuffed!!!!! We spent Thanksgiving Day at my brother's and had a great time. My nephew's little boy was able to be with us and since we don't get to see him often, it was a real treat!!! He and Elizabeth are only a year apart and played pretty good together. You just talked me into ordering the cookbook. I, like you, don't need another cookbook...I have an extensive collection. I'm cooking a little "feast" for us: turkey, corn pudding, dressing, green bean casserole, rolls, pecan pie, and pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes. I keep debating if it's worth buying the Spark Cookbook as already I have too many recipes and don't really need any new ones. I also have the book the Spark which is full of good information. Thanksgiving is all about being grateful...and I'm grateful for friends that are fantastic cooks that invite us to dinner! Only downside is having no turkey leftovers for fantastic turkey sandwiches...so I'll probably cook a small bird and stuff it in a few days.
