Grocery day

Sunday, September 11, 2011

Slept in late this morning and have been tired all day. But it was grocery day. I still have stuff all over kitchen that needs prepped and put up. I may save some for tomorrow.
I did not have a loss this week but didn't gain either so I am happy with that.
We watched a lot of tennis this weekend. The womens final is on now and I am hoping Serena loses. She has a tough opponent. She has already been broken twice. Stosur from Australia is playing great right now.
Someone asked me about the tofu pasta and here it is.

Most of gazebo is done. The new railings look much better than what came with it. We have new chairs and table for it but they have to be put together. Will maybe get some hanging baskets for the sides.

here some of the grandkids

Ok the kitchen is calling.

  Hi Eleni......
I asked about the Tofu Pasta and appreciate the information. emoticon

I love the Gazebo. It looks so relaxing already and you aren't finished yet. I may grab a good book and head over.

Love the pictures of your beautiful grandchildren. I don't know what I would do without Elizabeth.

I am tired of company already. There is ALWAYS someone talking to me!!!!!

Your gazebo looks great. I have subscribed to your blog again, and your picture doesn't show as a friend. On the other hand, when I look at your page it only says "Remove as a Friend" so I'm pretty sure you still are one. I don't know what is going on.

I watched the tennis match yesterday. It was great to see Serena lose. I think she is not 100% yet and will be back. I didn't like her unsportsmanlike behavior. When you have as much money as she does I don't think she can see the error of her ways. That Aussie girl was a breath of fresh air, so in the high ground zone.

Abigail's Special Day

Saturday, September 10, 2011

I am so tired. Today was Abigail's special day.She was such a good baby. She had her eyes wide open the whole time just checking everyone out. Never cried or whined at all. She looked like a baby doll instead of a live baby. She stayed wided eyed until when we finished taking pictures and poor little thing just fell sound asleep. I used my small camera and flash didnít work when it should so all the pictures didnít turn out so good. I was to tired to edit a lot so I put all on face book.
Here are just a few. There was actually 5 generations on Feliciaís dad side. Abigail has plenty of great grannyís.She has 3 of those and 1 great great.

Now I am trying to rest and watch tennis. Bill has zonked out in living room.
So I will say good night for now.

Rainy Afternoon

Friday, September 09, 2011

Sun was shining all day til about an hour ago and now it is raining.Sure dropped the temps. It is just 78 now.
Sorry I didn't blog yesterday. Need to do them earlier.
My daughter called and wanted to borrow my card table and I agreed as long as she brought Abigail by. So they did.It was suppose to be a quick visit but once they came they were in no big hurry to leave. I finally told them they needed to go. LOL
Abigail was too sure when I first took her but then she was smiles. She is growing so fast.
When they took table out I held her and when she realized her mom and grandma were both gone she was not happy and just started to cry when they came back in.Yes she is spoiled rotten. I should have some pictures tomorrow at her baptism.
Her mom sent this to my phone to show me she liked sweet potatoes.

These two butterflies seemed to be courting as they followed each other close.

And this little solo guy

And a hairy skipper

Bill got some more work don and should have it all done this weekend

And here are some cute pot sitters that my cyber daughter Robin sent me. I am going to keep them here on my desk tho as they are so cute.

Ok nothing new much.
Oh the trivia answer was Starbucks and several got it. I am bad with trivia. Good thing I have the answers.

The colors of the butterflies are beautiful! We've got two chipmunks that are either following one another or chasing one another so maybe they are courting too ... good, that means more cute babies for us to feed!
Your pot sitters are really cute ... but what are pot sitters? I'm getting more Duh by the day, lol.

Just a short note as we are in "Company Mode." I took a couple of minutes away to do a little bit of Sparking.

I got up this morning at 6:15 . Ugh. Went with Bill to doc as he had a 3 part stress test. He did well.We got home around 11:30 and I went back to bed for short nap as I had an appointment at 1. But went I got up I got a call that my appointment was cancelled.Doc had an emergency.
Ok some of you smarty pants for sure.Yes it was Chile.
Area: 756,945 sq. km. (302,778 sq. mi.); nearly twice the size of California

One thing about the trivia questions is that I am learning stuff.
Ok Heres another one
What company went public in 1992 with the NASDAQ trading symbol SBUX? I had no idea myself

Bill has gotten started on walkway and floor of gazebo. The stones were delivered yesterday. He also brought home the new railings. The new railings are so much better than what came with it. Hopefully he can get it all done this weekend.

This is final pic of big momma. She still has a few buds yet but it is pretty big.

I am struggling with food again. But I can do this.

Here is a good laugh my friend MYRTLEBEACHWINS: sent me

"If my body was a car, I would be thinking of trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps, dents, scratches and my paint job is getting dull. My headlights are out of focus. My traction is not as graceful as it once was. My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to reach maximum speed. But the worst is...everytime I sneeze, cough, or sputter either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!" Hope it made you smile too
