Friday. Lost this the first time

Friday, April 08, 2011

Got my blood checked and it is on the water side so will skip my coumadin tonight. Then we went to lunch and that was not so great. Tried a new place and it was not healthy by any means. On the plus side the scale was down some. But so was the fluid. So I really don't know where I am. I did not go over my range last night and might make it tonight. It will be close.
My daughter and grand daughter came by for a few minutes yesterday.Since she never sees my blog I am sneaking in a picture of her little belly bump. She is just now starting to grow. She has 6 weeks to go and will get much larger. She has no idea.

This is not very good but the second pic is all 3 of the eagles. The 3rd appeared yesterday.
And the view out my window.

Oh I did exercise this morning for first time in several days.So that was good. Have a good night and relax and enjoy your family.

  Hi Eleni.......
Felicia looks so happy and healthy. She really is small for only having 6 weeks left. Are she and Brianna sisters or cousins? Both are such beautiful girls.
Congratulations on the pounds going down. That is my favorite direction......
Your butterfly pictures are beautiful, as usual. Our grand-daughter was here yesterday afternoon and managed to pick most of my crocus in a very short time. We had the "TALK" about not picking flowers unless she asks me first. She is so fast that it was done before I could even turn around to see what she was doing. Oh well, there are still a few left to enjoy.
We are in danger of severe storms tonight and tomorrow. I hope they manage to miss us. We will go to a gathering tomorrow afternoon to say Good-bye to our friend from Australia. He leaves for home on Monday.
Have a good weekend.
Patti

As usual your photos are great, and I am perfectly willing to wait to see one of my granddaughters with a little bump in her belly.

It is a beautiful day today.
The plumber just left. Our toilet needed repaired. I got the name of an electrician that will do some small things like change a plug. I have a couple of little things I want done in kitchen.
Trying to get back on track with my eating. Going good so far.
It looks like the third eagle egg hatched but I haven't seen it yet.Saw the first two a few times today.
Ok I warned you that I would be boring you with butterfly pictures. This guy just stopped by a few minutes ago

Ok I think I am going to go take a late short nap. Hope your day is going good.

  Hi Eleni........
You could NEVER bore me with your butterfly pictures. They are so beautiful. A college roommate of mine spent the day with me yesterday and brought along a DVD of their latest trip. They spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica and I wish that you could have seen the butterflies in her pictures. The color was unbelievable!!! And the orchids!!!!!!!!!! All colors and sizes and they were everywhere. Then, add to that all of the birds and animals in every color. You would have worn your camera out. Bonnie said that everywhere they looked was a picture. They loved it.......except for the heat and humidity and having to dip in Deet to keep the bugs away. That part would have kept me from taking the trip.
Anyway.........must close and get some work done. You sound more upbeat today.......which I hope means that you are feeling better.

Another non Productive Day

Tuesday, April 05, 2011

I haven't got much of anything done today. Watching Biggest Loser right now. I watched "heavy " the other night and they did an update on 4 people.None were at goal yet but all were still losing.
Have the VCRs set up to record my other programs. Dancing with the stars will send someone home tonight,I am taping it but I always flip over there to see who goes home. I actually felt sorry for Max last night. He was hurt and still finished the dance. I guess we will find out tonight how bad he hurt his thigh, I don't think kirstie even realized how bad he was hurting.Max was never one of my favorites but I have a new admiration for his professionalism
The baby eagles are getting stronger. The one is still weaker but hanging in there. These are not great pictures but they will do for those that haven't seen them.

I started out doing well with my eating but I let life get to me and did a mini binge on pistachio nuts. I don't even have good binge food around.
I have got to find a way to not let my children affect me. My oldest is about to lose her apartment. She has no money and no job. Angel told her she could live with her til she got back on her feet but her dogs have got to go. I am sure she may ask me for money to pay her rent and I have to say no. Angel is taking her food tomorrow and Brianna came for 4 bags of food I gathered out of my cabinets. I also sent her $50. I know it sounds selfish but I get tired of being a bank. I think it is bothering me more because they have all needed help.Usually it is one at a time.
My plants came today and Bill put them in the pots. Two blood red coneflowers and 3 hummingbird plants. Bill said the hummingbird plant smelled good. That may be what attracts the humming birds.Time will tell.
My friend Gina who will dog sit Roxy at the end of the month is going to turn a vcr tape I have into a dvd. I hope Angel doesn't read this as it will be a surprise mothers day gift for three of the kids. There children are on it when they were little.
I went back to see who the first people were that read my blogs. Some only posted once but some are still with me which is so cool. Fieistymama who is my cyber daughter ,MDMNINA,ShirleyX,ROZOZ62 from Australia and vegefarmer from New zealand. One that only commented once but was the very first was older03. I sent her a note today. Many days no one read them.I am so blessed that so many of you are so good to me and continually encourage me in my rugged journey. I can't even find enough words to tell you how special you are.
Be patient with me.I will get this done . Just taking me a long time but I haven't quit.Even when I want to but don't because of you guys.Thank you for being you.

I am struck in your blog about what an active Mother you are - as I told someone yesterday, be careful when you want a child, because once a mother always a mother. How true that is, and I didn't believe it when I was young. I thought you cared less or the need to care and nurture went away as they matured. My son will always be my boy, and right now he needs me and maybe always will. But it's my life, too, and I have to let him go. I am willing to prepare him and get him going, but I cannot feed him with a spoon. He will have to learn how to take care of himself. His brain is injured, and for some reason I feel partially responsible for that (?), but he has a lot going for him, too. And now the government has recognized that and he is getting money to live on his own. It won't be a grand lifestyle, but it can be done by making the right choices. I can lead him to water, but I can't make him drink.

Maybe that's why you can't pay your girl's rent. She's got to figure it out, right? How hard that must be for you.

Have a good day, it seems like you always manage to see the wonder and good in the small things.

  Hi Eleni..........
I know exactly what you mean about being "The Bank". Our youngest son has a real dead-end job and his hours have been cut way back. There aren't any other jobs to go to or he would. He has looked and the way the economy is right now, he is lucky to have the job he does. He is only making half of what he made last year at this time and runs out of money about 3 days before payday every two weeks. I know that he feels bad about having to come to us for $, but it isn't easy on us either with both of us being on fixed income. There just isn't any answer!!! We just hope that business will pick up for the company he works for.
Your kids will love the DVDs of their kids. There is nothing more precious than pictures of their children.
And........YOU are easy to support. And.........don't forget how good you are about supporting others too. I look forward to hearing from you every day.
Have a good evening. I have DWTSs on right now and I think that Wendy will probably go tonight based on talent, but, if she has a big fan base, it's a toss-up. Take care.

I have a bag of pistachio nuts myself. I LOVE them!!! It beats snacking on chips!!

I haven't been on Spark much because of limited computer time. I know I'll have more time when Addison gets a little older. I feel bad that I don't get to your page as often as I used to. I'm also getting frustrated because I don't get e-mails from Spark letting me know you made a blog entry. I keep clicking on "subscribe to this blog" and it never seems to work.

I know one day my children will be coming to me for money when they're grown and on their own. Jason and I did it early on. It's hard being an adult! LOL

I hope you and Bill are well my dear cyber mom!!

Tyler Came to see Grandma & GrandPa

Monday, April 04, 2011

What a happy baby he is.He was smiling and giggling. He does have little dumbo ears but I have them too. His head will catch up some. But he was such a sweetie. I had just taken a shower so my hair is a mess and no makeup. But I rarely take a good picture anywhere. My son came to repay all of his debt to me so that was nice too.

I am still watching the eagles. It was a little gross today as she was tearing meat off something and feeding baby. i am very weak stomached about that kind of stuff. I was really worried about the one baby as it was laying face down but in last picture it is sitting up as she goes to sit on them. It was born a couple of days after first one so it isn't as strong.

It is not just sunny here it is warm.Bill bought a new thermometer for in here that shows the outside temp. It is 90 outside. Hot weather got here quick.
Ok Later my friends. Hope you are having a good day.
