I had to check to see what day it is.Bill being off yesterday will have us both confused.
Altho he won't be home til almost his usual time.He is doing a side job.It is suppose to be an easy one. Since he was working I decided to check out the new fruit stand near us. It was much nicer than old one that was across the street. very clean and very friendly people. I picked up a few things like tomato and cukes. I also got a small bag of tiny potatoes to throw in my stew.
I have a good smelling stew in oven and the smell is killer. I may just estimate calories for beef stew instead of trying to weigh each thing. I checked calories for stew in several places on Calorie King so i may use an average which looks to be around 40 cal per oz.That may be a little high but better to be on high side. I did awful with my eating last night. I was good til around 9 and then it was all downhill. But I am doing great so far today.
I did get my exercise done. 10/10/10
The weather is so beautiful. It won't be too much longer and it will be hot.
here are the two books I am now reading.I will finish Castle in a couple of days.It is entertaining. The Half Assed book I am not sure about. I don't read those kinds of books but someone recommended it so I am checking it out

I get my books from Amazon and save a lot. These two cost 430 less than if I got them at book store.
Bill is not too happy with me as I told him I really don't want a Kindle.I told him he could get it for my birthday but I really don't want it.I have been trying to talk myself into it but I just like a book in my hand. Who knows maybe some day. I fought getting a digital camera for years and I now have 3.

I did not sleep well last .Kept waking up and then not being able to go back to sleep. Got on computer at 5 am thinking I would get so tired I would have to sleep. I hate nights like these as I feel bad all day.
Went back to bed and got a little more sleep. After I got up and kinda woke up we headed to Wal-Mart. Bill had some pants he needed to take back and I wanted something to use in my little freezer so I could find stuff. I got some containers but havenít tried them yet. Got a real pretty bowl to put my salad in. I wish I had got more than one now.Maybe I can get Bill to stop and get another tomorrow.. Also got another small sauce pan to replace one that I had to throw away. I tried to heat some tomato soup in the other one and it totally burned on bottom.Could not eat soup and could not clean pan.Have never had that happen before. . I also got a cheapo salad tongs.A big 99 cents.
Got freezer semi organized I wish it was a little bigger. Containers worked fine.Bill had to cut handle off on one for bottom of freezer as it stuck out too much. Then I moved stuff around in fridge freezer. Knowing me I will have it back in a mess in no time.
I did awesome with my eating yesterday. Best in a long long time.
Bill being off 4 days a week is going to make me do some adjustments. We ate out for lunch.Since we were eating lunch I told him every man for himself tonight. The waitress was so helpful.We went to Longhorn steak house.I asked if she knew how many calories the bread for the chicken sandwich was. She went to look and was gone awhile.She couldn't find it in the kitchen so she went in web site and got info for it. The whole sandwich was 760 but I reduced that down by cutting half of bread away and taking all the parmeson cheese off top of chicken. I went on web site when I got home to check out the veggies I got etc, I came up with 800 calories for everything and that is on high side. They have a great nutrition listing of everything. I printed out a copy to keep. Some waitresses are so good about trying to help.It was lunch and it wasn't real busy or I wouldn't have asked her. Now just to brag on myself some. They have the best bread ever. I did not eat any.After Bill ate his I made him hide it behind stuff so I couldn't see it. I ate 3. Just 3 of his fries and a few spoonsful of onion soup broth. Worse part of meal is all the sodium.
Then tonight I had some fish sticks and shrimp I needed to get out of freezer.So I baked them and measured my portions.Had a salad and asparagus with it. I told Bill to not leave any in pan or I would eat it.He got rid of what he didn't eat. And I still have a few calories left over for later. Knowing me I will probably go over but only a little.
Will have to plan really good with him off an extra day.
I finally made my decision about daytona. Bill is going there the last weekend of April.Gina has been kind enough to say she can doggie sit. I had almost made up my mind to stay home.I will just be staying in room all day. Bill mentioned today that I should do what I thought best but he didn't like being away that long. Soooo I made the reservations today. My comfort isn't worth having him worry about me. I got a room at a Residence Inn which have kitchens and I will be comfortable. The trip is what will be hard. But I will manage.
Bill saw his skin doc today.He has started putting that stuff on his arms.I noticed a dark mole on his back and made him show it to him. Doc said it was ok.He froze it.
Outside plants are staying to bloom.It is time to replace the butterfly plants that dies.

There was one dark colored bloom that looked out of place.

Yesterday was a total flop for my eating. Too bad to even tell you. But today is the complete opposite.I have done great and if I go over then I need to hang it up, I have more than enough calories to snack tonight and should stay in range with no effort.
I got my exercises done but did them in smaller increments. 10/10/10/7 and 10 lifting weights. I used parts of 5 different tapes. here is my partner watching me.
It is pretty bad when the dog knows you are suppose to be exercising.She pesters me til I go back there if I don't go around my regular time.
I started my day with a plate of tomatoes . Much better than yesterday.
Then I got a great phone call from CANBEDONE / Teri . Then a great sparkmail from Disaster Bonnie. Will be having lunch with Bonnie again next week on my birthday. The 3 of us share a lot of the same problems with food. It is great to hear about success stories and get encouraging words from those that are doing so well. But it is also good to hear from those that are struggling with same issues and knowing we all screw up. Not everyone understands how easy it is to eat a bag of chips,or bunch of cookies or too much ice cream.
Roxy hasn't been eating her food good lately so I tried something new. I put just a little beef broth on her food and she eat it all. Tonight I put a little chicken broth.
I did give her some yogurt this afternoon. She was too funny. She had it on her nose and chin.tried to get a pic but this was best I could do.
I don't know why her legs look so short in pic.They aren't that short.
Ok this is Bill's first week of only working 3 days a week. I have started him a honey do list. He will be off for the next 4 days.
I don't seem to be able to get into BL this season. But I like the last weeks the best. I usually have a favorite but not this time. I have watched several episodes of Heavy and it doesn't follow them to goal.I would like to know if they make it. I like that the trainers don't get nasty like Jillian does. ok i have some emails to get caught up on while I wait for Criminal Minds to come on. Oh I did watch some of the cable guy Larry's new show.Some were hilarious. he went swimming with the mermaids. It is cute if i tape it so I can zip thru the boring parts.

Will try to get this done before Bill gets home. Have another one skillet meal in oven.Not sure if it will be ok tho. I dumped a can of cheddar soup over it. Oh well there is always soup if it turns out bad.
I finished the day yesterday better with my calories than in a long time.Yes I went over some but not much. I was pleased.
I haven't had as good a day today but not too bad. I was a little puny this morning so I stuck with just doing the sit and be fit tapes.They are stretching and circulation. But I did increments of 21,6,18.
I saved some salad from lunch for afternoon snacking. I did both bad and good for breakfast. For some reason I was craving stove top stuffing so I decidid to have some. Checked calories and saw that a cup full would be 320. Thats not bad for a breakfast altho i usually stay around 100. When I got a coffee cup out so I could just make some in microwave I decided i better check cup size.Good thing I did as it was 2 cups. Worse part was after I had my cup full i still wanted some. i was soooo tempted but I didn't.
So that was a plus.
The sun finally came out and it was a nice day afterall.
I just found another surprise outside. It is not a great pic but it has 4 more buds and I will take another when they bloom. Now if I could just get veggies to grow
Well my buddy 2BFREE2LIVE got me good today. I will have to learn to mind my business. She volunteered me as a buddy on one of my teams. But I am looking forward to getting to know my new buddy.
Ok Time to take supper out of oven.Have a good night.
It feels good to not have a bad day. Still have some fluid but it is much better.Today anyway.
As usual when I do have a day like this I tend to do too much. But it felt good to not feel like poop all day.
I have done great on eating today. After my lunch I sliced up a cucumber and bagged it and when ever I wanted something to eat I grabbed a few slices. But tonight will be the big test as usual.
I did all my exercises. Exceeded my 10 minutes by a lot.

I am baking some tilapia in tomatoes for supper.Thats greek style. With a few boiled potatoes and big salad.
I even did some laundry today.And I set the timer for 15 minutes and worked on the eagle pen & ink.
