I might as well get this done now. I haven't got much done today but play with computer and camera. Poor Bill is the busy one. He fixed the earth box tomatoes and tied them up.They are growing by leaps and bounds. We are very optimistic that we will finally grow tomato's. ![]()

Great pictures...keep them coming! The hummingbirds are the only wild critters that I can feed. I can't feed the birds anymore because the bears get in the bird seed. Your hummingbirds will definitely come back. One year I didn't have my hummingbird feeder out yet for the year and a hummingbird came to each of my windows looking in hovering. Strange thing was these windows that he was looking in for me is not any windows that I use to set my feeder at. It was like he was saying "Hey...get off your duff and get my feeder out!!" "I'm not leaving until you do!" I did and he was happy...in fact he is so protective of it when I change the feeder he dives at me to not take it away! So cute!! Love your orchids!! They are doing so well! And you got such a nice model to help you out...seems like a keeper to me... Comment edited on: 4/11/2010 5:28:26 PM Report Inappropriate Comment |

Great Pictures. Where did you get the "Earth Box"? I sure hope it does the trick for you. Rich's Aunt from Florida is coming this weeek. We will drive to St. Louis next Saturday to pick her up. I worked all day yesterday washing windows and cleaning the Guest Rooms/Bath. It looks great. Headed to Hannibal this afternoon for lunch with friends and a local Quilt Show. Have a good day. You take such great and interesting pictures you can't expect them all to turn out. Keep them coming. Did you tell Bill when to expect his paycheck for that hand modeling job? Congratulations on that weight loss. Have a great weekend. We are going to get rain again tomorrow.

Certainly not laughing (he, he!!) but I think its a GREAT idea to have a separate fridge - it lessens the temptation if you don't see the foods each ime you have to go to the fridge. Wonderful. The pictures are lovely - that hummingbird is just the smallest thing - so delecate!! (we don't have them here so I've never seen one!!) and the orchid is perfect - someone has green thumbs to grow them like that - and all the buds waiting too!! You look like there will be a real show!! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Hehe! I love that idea. Gotta keep thinking of ways to keep us in check. Whatever it takes. I've been straying off track lately and need to reign myself in. Haven't been spending much time sparking. Hope your hummingbirds come back. I bought a hummingbird feeder a couple of years ago and put it in my backyard. Within a couple of hours 2 hummingbirds came by and checked it out. I was so excited, but they never came back. Glad you're losing. Keep up the good work. Report Inappropriate Comment |

I don't think that's silly at all about the refrigerator, I think it's a great idea, and if it works for you, it's worth doing. Beautiful pictures! I know how hard it is to try to capture those hummingbirds with a camera; I've tried with mine and have not even come close. But I keep trying, maybe I'll be lucky one day. That's the nice thing about digital cameras, you take as many pics as you need without having to pay for the film. Report Inappropriate Comment |

Way to go on the loss. That's great!!! I think your camera takes great pictures!!! My nice camera isn't working properly so Jason bought me a small point and shoot for my b-day. Since I'm used to better quality photo's it is disappointing. I need to do some research and find a better camera. Tell Bill he's a wonderful hand model!! Report Inappropriate Comment |

For once we went to grocery store and bill was not huge. But we are well stocked up on a lot of things. But I alway have a fridge full of fruits and veggies. In fact we are trying to decide whether we want to get an extra small fridge. Bill is going to look around tomorrow.
I did good with my calories last night. I am in great shape now so I am optimistic for tonight.
I got all my exercises done before we went to grocery store.
Tomorrow night is my night for grilling veggies and I am going to try an acorn squash. Tonight was every man for himself so I had oysters.Just sautéed them in a pan and had a low cal veggies egg roll with it and sliced tomatoes.
Tomorrow is weigh in day and wouldn't you just guess the scale went up today.Has to be fluid. I hope it is gone by morning as I had more good days than bad.
Tomorrow afternoon is plant day. Bill has to pick up some more potting soil in the morning.
That's about it for now.The tall orchid has one little bloom on it.Will take a pic when more bloom. Today was another beautiful sunny day. Ok have a good night and get ready to enjoy your weekend.

Glad you had a good grocery trip today.. always nice to come out with the grocery bill being smaller.. never tried acorn squash, so let us know what it taste like.. I saw some orchid plants the other day, but still didn't get one.. I did get some burnt orange merigolds, and some purple varigated patunias.. they are looking good, and my Easter Lily has 4 or 5 big blooms opened on it.. it's so pretty.. should have taken a picture of it, but I forgot..lately we've been having a small steer that belongs to another man get out of the pasture and comes to eat the grass in the yard and in our garden area.. hope he doesn't decide to eat my flowers.. he's a hoot..he has learned how to climb through the barbwire fence without getting hurt..and he never gets out in the road.. so we just let him be.. helps cut the grass and gives fertilizer to boot.. LOL.. Hope you don't have that fluid building up so fast again..I've got it in my feet and legs, and have something going on in my jawbone.. all I need is another problem.. well I'm tired so hope we both rest good tonight.. Love ya Ladybug, Pat Report Inappropriate Comment |

Your day sounds like a really good one! Watch the salt, especially the hidden kind, tonight if you're weight tomorrow. I've got to go out to see my buddy at the Sanford Flea Market soon so that I can get some plants to replace the ones that didn't make it through the cold weather this year. He's got everything from houseplants and orchids to trees and shrubs. Last year I got an awesome tea olive tree that I planted next to my patio - the delicate, little, white blossoms have a really soft, pretty fragrance! Report Inappropriate Comment |

I hated acorn squash when I was younger but I thought I'd try it again. Tastes do change as we get older. I still hate it. Have fun playing with your plants tomorrow. Report Inappropriate Comment |
