Things getting better

Wednesday, May 21, 2008

Well, David had his readdmittance meeting yesterday. Looks like he gets to go to high school in fall and normal school....but he has to see a counselor at least once. He has to follow all rules, no incidents, maintain good grades, no nothing, sign a contract. He can't have any screw ups for his 4 years or he is out, permanently. She was really hard on him (lol..) she lit into him like a judge and said, I don't EVER want to see you back in my office again.

Shyanne apologized for lying. She complied with getting her chores done. She is having good days at school. She and Nacole spoke to Nacole's mom, and she told them both to face their consequence. She also told Shyanne, stop the lying and you won't be grounded and facing consequences.

Busy trying to get things ready for camping trip.

Woo Hoo! You are getting your days back to yourself! Hopefully, she scared David just a little to keep him walking a fine line and glad things with Shy are getting better.

A note: Remember

Tuesday, May 20, 2008

A special note, a reminder from my daughter, Reuchelle.

Everday won't always be a great workout day, but make the best of the days that are and things will work out, I promise...never think it's easy. Know it is how long you fight for it that will make the difference. It won't be a short accomplishment, but you know that. I'm mirrorly saying "remember."

You will have days when you'll doubt that you can do this, but you'll have a lifetime of knowing you did it.

Vegas Trip Planned

Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Yesterday, we got our check that we've been waiting for...yippee. I got to book our trip to Vegas. I got a good deal still...I was so happy. Even with all the chaos of moving my daughter, and my other daughter being sneakie and lying, I was happy and got our trip booked.

We are staying at the Stratosphere. We have the magic show booked that we plan to see, and Romance Package with the wax museum. The two shows we want to see, one is included with our hotel, they other one, we will get once we are there. Any other shows, we will book once we get there and decide if we want to go. We just plain, want to keep things as open as possible. Thank goodness, my daughter and son-in-law (future) will watch the kids.

I now have rest of this month, next month, and part of July to save, save, save. And TO LOSE LOSE POUNDS!

Update of Daughter - Pulling My Hair Out...not really...but...

Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Ok, yesterday, we are doing our last load to Renae's new home. Shyanne gets home from school. Her and Nacole are suppose to be studying. Well, she calls her dad, and says "Are you almost home?" Then said "You got to call me on Nacole's cell phone cause we will be outside in front yard. Be sure to call me half hour before you get home so I can get a pot of coffee going." Trigger Trigger....we knew something was up, well we didn't tell her when she asked this that we were almost home. We knew something was up. So we pretended we were just getting ready to unload boxes when we were like 5 min from home. Well, we got home, no one home, house wide open. Her dad calls Nacole's Cell phone. Ok, you can get that pot of coffee going.

She said "Ok". Her dad said, "where are you." I am at home outside, we are looking at a motorcycle in front of house. "Her dad said, you are lying to me, I am home, now where are you. Down the street walking. So he heads in direction towards water tower, and sure enough, here the two girls come. Well, needless to say, she got her butt spanked by her dad (rare thing)...Nacole taken home, and major grounded, and no Nacole for camping. She is really mad...but she was grounded and earned time with Nacole here only, but she blew it big time....so now she gets to suffer consequences BIG TIME.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how to get her to stop lying...I am open to suggestions.

I agree that is IS kid stuff, but lying does need to be taken seriously. It sounds though as if you all rea doing what needs done.

Tuesday - Update of Me

Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Well, Saturday, My walk in Seattle was totally awesome. It was really hot. I didn't do as much water because the bathroom is hard to find. It hit 90 and I had blisters. I bought a new Kirby Vaccum / rug shampooer.... wow, it works great.

Sunday - I was on my feet the entire day. No exercises, but if you call shampooing rugs, being on feet all day, working on cleaning house, it was a work out. I went to bed exhausted, sore.

Monday - No exercise, but if you want to call, lifting boxes, walking up 3 flights of stairs, moving my daughter exercise (240 steps I did at min.). Again, went to bed...exhausted....water was ok, eating was BAD...I had fried oysters w/fries for lunch and had one slice of pizza - Canadian Bacon, pineapple, mushroom. But sorry, it was late and I just did not have it in me to cook....let alone barely eat.

Today is a brand new day. My scale didn't budge for my weigh in. It was exactly the same; however, I do have to say, if I was not swallen, I probably would have been down a few pounds. My rings are tight, my feet puffy, this is common with heat...and not enough water.

I am not disappointed in myself, because I know I've done well, even with my off days. They were minimally off. My old habit would have been "eat several (2 or more) slices of pizza. I see my new habit really taking hold. I didn't eat all of my fries, but I sure ate most of them.

My plan for today:

1) drink my water jump start
2) work my job
3) take David to his readmittance conference (hope he gets back into school)
4) work my job
5) do some exercises
6) pack tent trailer (if time)
7) plan a healthy dinner
8) eat good and drink my water
9) Not to have too strenuous of a day.
10) Be happy
11) Start on laundry
12) Spark

Hoping by all the water, it will help my swelling and the scale will go down this week or by weigh in on Sunday.

You are doing great! You are in the zone and keeping on top of it! The scale will see less of you this week, for sure!
