Ok, I met Tami this morning at 6:15. We both arrived at the trail head a little early, but we burned 609 calories. We both got some some sore muscles. It is now 9:00 AM and will be leaving to go get a chai tea, as I feel I can have one, and going to go to bank then the 5 mile drive with hubby and dd to hike trails and beach. We will do KFC for lunch, buy it and take it down to the beach to eat. I am curious as to what my burn will be for day 1 of my streak for 2nd 100 days. This being day 101, 609 calories to burn for first thing in the morning. I am basically done with my burn as far as being 500+ so if I did nothing I would be great, but I am actually excited about hiking trails and beach to see where my burn will be.
Tomorrow, we are planning a bike ride. NO, no spark friend until Tuesday. Tuesday, we will meet to do our walk. We will do at least 3 x and hoping for Saturday morning again, but need to see what we both have scheduled for Saturday. One thing, I believe, we both are finding, is we enjoy the walking together, keeps us moving, and no matter how sore we are, we got to do. The other thing, once we are done with our walk, close to 500, we are exceeding rest of day, so we definitely are both burning 500+ a day. This should make our scales move down. My scale has played havoc all week. It has flexed up down up up, down, and I am so Pre-TOM. DD is just finishing, so I should be seeing TOM any time this week, at least by next weekend, then I should see a good drop on scale. I will weigh tomorrow morning, no clue whether it will be up or down, but I know I am making progress and being physical and eating right, and on low side of range, and getting all or close to it of my water.

Wow, today is a real MILESTONE for me. I made it, 100 days streaking. I did it with a bang too! But before I get into that, the awards dinner was nice.

The Red White and Blue flowers for table decorations. I thought it was really appropriate and the kids did a great job setting up for the AFJROTC Awards dinner.
Ok, these kids worked hard and deserved there awards. They are expected to be in formal uniform, neat, tidy, entire 9 yards. We all were to be semi-formal. I think we need to support that attire as we are expecting our kids to follow the rules, attire. Well, I have to say, I was very disappointed in some of the parents. Ok, the dad that sat across from me, dirty, and I mean dirty, had dirty jeans on and a white wrinkled semi formal shirt. Ok his wife was better dressed, but more casual, definitely not semi-formal. Ok, another dad, came in shorts, t-shirt, and sandels. This, too me, was disrespectful to their own sons or daughters. I feel there is no justification of it. At least I can say we were not an embarrassment to our son, were in semi formal attire and most of the parents were. Guess there are always those few. It just really bugged me and thought I would blog it. It over all was a great awards dinner. It was healthy too, but they were nearly out of food by the time we got there as our table was the last table to get served. They served lasagna (meat and veggie). They were out of the veggie completely. I had small small piece (very little to no cheese on it) small 1/2 bun size garlic bread, and tiny salad with tsp of dressing. I was very hungry, came home, had two slices of salami, and a Susie Q, this brought my calories like to my low end.
Today, with my wonderful sparkfriend, Tami (MRSKRNR), we met at 6:30 AM and walked the Green River Trail. Here is pic of her by the totem poles.
I loved my walk this morning with Tami. We burned 400 calories again. Just had a great time talking and walking. Makes the walk so enjoyable and feels like you are not working out. We both felt our muscles today. We are both reaching 500+ since we started walking in the morning. In fact, we both are getting awesome calories burned. Love having a lime friend to workout with!
Ok, I come home, it is 8:00, hubby is ready to go for walk. We leave at 8:30 with the doggies. We went to Owen Beach (Pt. Defiance) 5 mile drive. We walked the beach and we walked the trails.

Yes, these trails were hilly. I was amazed at how some of the hills that use to be so hard for me, the dogs pulled me up or made me go up them in a jog. Got a good scrape on my leg though from a fall on the trail. Yes, I fell twice today.

Ok, I like my perm. I am trying to learn to love myself. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I do have to say, the Fat Fat Go Away song, is continually running through my head, on the trails, on the beach, I want the fat gone. I want a new healthier ME. I want walking, exercise, doing things to be easy, not so hard from all the extra poundage. I don't want to feel like I am holding back my kids, or husband. I want to be fit, to enjoy my husband outdoors. I want him to see me small, something he never has.
Ok, after our walk, I come home, I am tired, I did my back stretches, bunches of crunches and different kinds, the half moon stretch, then I get on here to spark. I go to update my page, I see that today is DAY 100 Streaking, and wow, with a bang, 1036 calories burned, tons of fitness and to be on my 100th day. Wow, was I like and still totally amazed.

We walked the opposite direction today, and had to laugh, here is the snail, the other way. Just had to take a pic. Plus we are like at snail pace, so felt it was appropriate. We are working to be at 5k pace.
Tomorrow, we plan to meet at 6:15 to do stretches, then start walking at 6:30-8:30. We should burn some good calories tomorrow and meet our lime morning challenge too! I am really looking forward to our walk tomorrow and so is Tami. I have to say, IT IS GREAT to have a LIME SPARK FRIEND to WALK with! I AM SO SO LUCKY, WE BOTH ARE! I have to tell ya, I just love my new spark friend. We found we have a ton of stuff in common too!
After our walk, my hubby, DD, and I are going on a bike ride! I am loving the beautiful weather that we are having!

Ok, our interim challenge on the LIME team is to exercise in the morning. I am making it some days, and not others, but that is ok. No matter what, I get exercise done.
Ok, this morning, MRSKRNR (Tami) and I met at her work, and walked the Green River Trail. We were up and walking at 6:30-7:30.

Ok, I have to tell ya, neither of us are morning exercisers, but I challenged her to meet me, begged her, to challenge us both. WE LOVED IT! Ok, see that snail picture....ha ha ha...we are walking tomorrow again, at her work, the Green River, 6:30 AM...Ok, Saturday, we are meeting at another trail head close to her house....We are meeting at 6:15-6:30 AM. We both loved how we burned almost 500 calories (400) on our walk, and know that we will easily be at 500+ tonight. The best part, we feel great and we don't have to worry about getting our burn in because it was done before the day actually started and we are like free to do whatever. Ok, I am getting to the snail, it was taken for her daughter, but also using it as snail for walking...the pace we start out, you think of as snail, but as we get better and stronger, we get out of that snail pace. Ha ha ha, she got me now challenged, she challenged me, 3 x week of meeting and doing this C25K program together (the couch to 5 k program)...Meaning, at end of program, we will be running/jogging a 5k. Mind you, neither of us are runners, nor have ever liked running. It will be a big big challenge, but should get our metabolisms moving good and calories burning and the scale moving down.
My DH had to get a chuckle out of it. However, nothing surprises him with me. I told him, dang, Tami is definitely going to burn the fat off my body...and man...I am going to burn the fat off her body!

Well, today, I managed to go for nice walk with DH and work my abs...Ouch, they be feeling it. I burned 408 today. I am tired. I decided to give myself a treat and get hair permed! I am off to bed as I have to meet a Lime Friend for a early walk in the morning (6:30 AM). We are walking for an hour.

Ok, I got my resume' re-done. I think it is looking pretty good. This was a big accomplishment, and put off, but finally decided got to do it. Actually had re-done it but was told it was weak for my skill set and today's market. Ok, I reviewed others, etc. and re-did it all over again, starting from scratch.
Next, I cooked breakfast. It was Turkey Bacon (3 slices), 2 slices of Tomato, Pepper, Smart Balance Mayo (tbsp), 2 slices of lettuce, 2 orawheat bread toasted (BLT) and of course, my morning coffee. I was still hungry, had 1 fig cookie (no more left) and I logged it all in, and I am still feeling hungry but not going to eat anything but drink water and green tea (caffeine free) so that counts as water.
I need to learn to stay off the scale...I was back down 1 pound of the 2 pounds it showed up. Need it to show another pound down, plus 1 or more...Arg. It is just so hard to stay off the scale because when I do, no matter what, it seems to go up when I do weigh in, so I get on it to keep myself gauged to what I need to do, more exercise, more water, even if I have done both.
I am starting out good today, I didn't do morning exercise, well still morning, but trying to get things accomplished that I have been putting off. I know once I start moving, and we go for our walk (waiting for it to warm up), I will be moving non-stop. One thing, as long as I am getting exercise, meeting my streak, I am doing great. I am pushing to do more and more in the morning, but it is just a hard thing for me. I will keep trying. I try to, especially when DH is working, down time this week, to exercise first thing in morning, then a little in the afternoon, and a little more in evening before bed. I figure this helps burn the calories that I have had throughout the day and evening.
