Ok, I got my resume' re-done. I think it is looking pretty good. This was a big accomplishment, and put off, but finally decided got to do it. Actually had re-done it but was told it was weak for my skill set and today's market. Ok, I reviewed others, etc. and re-did it all over again, starting from scratch. ![]()

Scales are the killer this month. I feel your scale pain! Remember sometimes it is just your muscles getting built up! I was down .3 official this week, and 2# unofficial from stnading on the scale every day LOL Would have been happier if I jsut stayed off. Keep tracking, I am amazed at what my minutes adde p to last week. Now know why it felt like work, walk, work, walk, home , walk, eat sit 1/2 hour, exercise, bed! Congrats on updating your resume. Hey Nadine! BLT sounds yummy! I have the same experience with the scale. When I don't get on I gain. I feel better at least monitoring how I'm doing, so i don't have a heart attack if I see I've gained after a month! It feels like wasted time that way. I like knowing what's going on. It also helps me figure out what works and what doesn't, ya know? Anyway...I still am not sure what kind of work you do...? Sounds like you're pretty GOOD at it, though! I love BLT's. Maybe instead of focusing on the scale you could just think about how your clothes fit, how you feel, other non-scale victories. How old are you? I'm 43 and I'm starting to realize that when I'm trying I'm maintaining and when I'm not trying I am gaining. If I went all insane-crazy at it, maybe I'd LOSE something worth mentioning! Wow, I was so energized yesterday. We received a DVD from MIL of their cruise. We watched it and then I made DVD to send to them. I was up until about 10:30 PM, and was so tired, went to sleep. My sleep was sucky, I had major sinus pain/headache, trouble getting up this morning. I canceled my dentist appointment for this morning and will need to call and reschedule. Kind of sucky to reschedule, but I felt I needed to feel better to undergo numbing and prep work for crown, then crown. Sounds strange, but I don't want to be plugged up when they do the work as I am a paranoia of not breathing.
I am not making my morning challenge as far as doing exercise for the first thing in the morning, but DH is home too, as today is a down time day. I am not going to make excuses, but it just isn't happening. It just amazes me how I can be so energized, so "FAT FAT GO AWAY, AND STAY AWAY" and just work the heck out of my body to, sitting in bed, still with the "fat fat go away and stay away" but not willing to get myself up and moving and feeling so low in energy.
The weather was like sunny to cloudy to rainy, not a cheerful sunny day. Don't worry, I still plan to exercise, follow as much of the plan, just not going to make the morning part, but the morning has never been my strong point. This is new and something I never ever have been able to accomplish in my life, no matter how I would try and at least I am trying again and making the goal some of the time. I am actually surprised at the number of morning exercises that I have done.

Have you ever been tested for allergies? Maybe you have allergy symptoms that are causing the sinus issues. I can relate about going to the dentist when you're all plugged up. How can you breathe when you have tools poking around your mouth and your sinuses are clogged!? Not good. If you were up all of the time you wouldn't be human. Don't worry about it. I have been having the same problems with symptoms too. A first I was thinking H1N1 but I don't have fever. Darn allergies. Hope you feel better.

I hate feeling like i cant breath too I have been fighting allergies/sinus again night time is the worst I breath out of my nose I find it hard to breath through my mouth, any ways I hope you feel better soon lots of Report Inappropriate Comment |
