It is Wednesday, where is the week going. I am feeling really yucky today. I am nausiated, partially from pain. But I am at the low end of my range, I am working on my water. I may be trying to get dentist appointment tomorrow. I just hate going to the dentist. Well, just going to have to bite it and go. I hate the new fillings because they seem to come out. They are suppose to be better, but they are not in my opinion. I really did a lot of sleeping. It feels like 8:00 PM to me too, but it is only 6:00. Well, I did get up, I did my strength tags, a few steps on my stepper. I did get 30 min of exercise to make my streak. I guess that is why I designed my streak, to push myself, but on off days, no matter what, I have to do 30 minutes of exercise. I really felt like none, but I did my 30 minutes because I did not want to break my streak which is getting quite long and to me impressive. I have stuff I need to do, so I hope tomorrow is a better day.
I read someone's blog today, a friend, one that I had not heard from in a very long time. It really brought back memories for me, memories of Nov-Dec, Jan, on how I felt and what I did to pull out of the depression. I look at where I am today, and I am pleased with my progress. All of the encouragement I got today, and krzykat, who really is a krzykat, anyways, the tags, and my virtual buddies, I managed to at least make my streak thanks to all the tags....lol. But I was down .2 this morning.

Well, as some of you know, we made a camping trip to Lopez Island. Well, Sunday, we packed up, we went to leave for Shark Reef to hike down before catching the Ferry home. Well, on our way out, there was a lady who camped two sites over, and she had left on a bike ride. On our way out, we saw her pedaling up a big long steep hill. I kept super slow to stay behind her. She was barely pedaling, slower and slower, but with all her might. I had truck window down, and I was saying you can do it you can do it, come on you can do it! She reached the corner, last part of the hill, waved us by, but I held steady behind her, saying come on you can do it. She made it. As we went by her, we all hollered out our window, "way to go! You made it! You did it! She waved with a big smile. Well, later, on our way back up the trail, we ran into her, and as she saw us, she said, "wow, you guys were a GIFT, I can't express the difference you made to me." It was truly a gift you gave me today. We left feeling so pleased and happy.

This is the pic of the fudge factory on Lopez Island. So funny, the first night, when we first got there, we had to drive into town to get cash to pay for first night since I wasn't able to do reservations. Well, as we drove into town, one of the first buildings you see is the Fudge Factory. Both my hubby and I looked at each other and laughed. "Tomorrow, bet Shyanne spots that out right away, and first thing out of her mouth will be, eeeewwwwe the chocolate factory, can we go?" Sure enough, that is exactly what happened. I was prepared for it...LOL...and with TOM in the beginning stages, well, we did our bike ride, and everything that day, and hit the Fudge Factory before it closed....LOL. This chocolate fudge Factory had a special, if you bought basically $24 of fudge, you got it for $16. Well, we got to sample each kind of fudge...oh yummy. The samples were super tiny, so that was good, and when we did a sample, an thin small piece was shared between the 3 of us. Now, I have had sugar free fudge before and NO I did not care for it. If I am going to have fudge, it best be the real thing. However, they did have sugar free, and I tried some of the sugar free, some that I have tried before, and I have to say, it is the best sugar free fudge I had ever had. The lady, she said she is diabetic, and decided, there was going to be yummy fudge sugar free that she could eat. Yep she was right. Needless to say, we then picked out 6 different kinds of fudge to take home. Oh, Shyanne was hoping to have fudge that night, but dad and I said, we got to have fudge, samples and that was more than enough. Well, last night, we called her into our room. I took the little blocks of fudge out, and cut little tiny sample pieces for each of us, and that was it. NO MORE. She was satisfied and off to her room to bed. We decided, or I did, that tiny very thin piece of each kind, which doesn't even equal a small 1" square is more than enough as a treat for each of us. This way, we all can have some, it isn't devoured away by daughter or hubby and I get absolutely none, and she doesn't get sugared out. It allows me to have a tinsy bit along with everyone and not feel deprived. Let me tell ya, I sure can eat at least one nice big piece right now, but NOPE, no way, it isn't part of the plan. I have it all put away.

We are now home! Yes, it feels good to be home. We had a wonderful relaxing time. It wasn't long enough, but at the same time, it is so good to be home. I did pretty well with my eating, not bad, but not great with the water. I must have had enough water though for all the trips to the toilet. TOM decided he was arriving on Friday, the day we are leaving. Ok, I can deal with TOM. We picked up dear hubby at work and set off on our trip.
We are boarded on the Ferry. This is the pic from Ferry in Anecortes for Lopez Island. This shot is of the birds pirched.

It was so so beautiful being camped right on the beach!
I love the way this campfire pic turned out (Saturday)

Up-close of Shyanne on big rock.
Sorry, this be all the photos. I packed AA batteries for camera. Why? Argg! I forgot my camera was stolen in Vegas and have a new camera. It is a battery you HAVE to CHARGE and can't buy. Well, all of these were pics on a slightly charged battery and then nothing, no more. I had to purchase two disposable cameras. I will have to post a 2nd blog when I get pictures back from being developed.
Friday, arriving, was absolutely beautiful, watched the sunset, went to bed and got up early. We decided we were not going to cook breakfast. None of wanted to do it or to have to clean up, so we decided to go into town, check it out and go on our bike ride. Hubby had a flat tire on new bike, arrg, so off to the marina store, they had an air pump so we had to purchase. Ok, we needed one anyways. Ok, that did the job. Everyone recommended The Galley. So we ate at the Galley. The breakfast was big, and YUMMY. I did well, and I know I stayed in range and I did not clean my plate. They let us keep our bikes parked there, and we set off on our ride. This was suppose to be fairly flat, not too hilly. HA HA HA on us! Starts out, a little flat, slight incline, not bad, ok, we are cruising. OMGOSH, here comes the hill, pedal pedal, slower and slower, drop the gear down, slower and slower, ok, walk my bike up the hill, both Shyanne and I, dad still pedaling. Ha ha ha, here comes the corner, cool, finally we can have flat again or go down, ha ha ha, it winds right into more of a hill and it curves, ok, still walking the bike, almost their, around the corner, oh crappers, still hill, but we pedal, slowly to slower and slower and out of breath, off the bike, and finish walking up the hill past the building, you see the top as it curves, whew, we will be there. HA HA HA, still more hill, and dad is still pedaling, OMGosh, and I am so out of breath walking up the hill pushing bike, yikes, is this hill ever going to end. Made it, ok rest, ok, on the bikes and pedal away, flat with kind of slight incline, to a small down hill, very small, ok, flat, around the corner onto next street, and down that street, oh, no, another hill coming up, ok, high gear, pedal hard and as fast as I can to get speed up, I am in the lead, I can do this, I can do it, down to low gear, up up up up up the hill, I can do it, oh my legs hurt, oh my heart is pumping, but I can do it, I really can, I can't quit, gotta make it, yeah, I'm telling myself this. I make it, I reached the top, pull over off to the side, here comes Shyanne and dad. I need to catch breath, I am dizzy, I hurt, my cramps hurt sooooo bad, I feel sick, like throwing up, I feel like I might faint, I drank some water too, and had been. I got off my bike and laid down on ground as hubby and daughter sat next to me. Ok, feeling better, but I am wiped. Daughter is tired, dad is tired. Ok, what do we do, do we keep going or head back? We see ahead that it is down hill, then flat, and another hill to go up, no clue how far we have to still go or how far we really came. I was cramping so bad, even with pamerin in me. Dad and Shy, thinking we go back and get truck. I had to concur. Dad went ahead in case Shyanne and I couldn't make it back, as we knew there were some hills (not many) smaller to go up going back as those were the small down hills we had getting to this point. I put my bike helmet on, and off we went. Dad was about a block ahead of us, but we could see him as he turned down the next street. Shyanne and I rode back, oh so much easier going back, but we were tired. Oh, up the small hills we went, not too bad, made it. I went up the one and Shyanne walked her way up...LOL...but I MADE IT! Then, Yippee Yahoo, it is the BIG HILL we came up that was never ending and windy. Woo Hoo, we a cruising fast down this hill, no out of breath and had to actually put brakes on too keep from going too fast. We got down to bottom and I could see the boats, and then, I see the Galley...yippee, and just as we were 3/4 block from the galley, here comes dad in truck, so he turned around and loaded up our bikes, and we drove to see everything. We got to Shark Reef, which was where we were heading on our bikes. We park, and it is hiking only. Now, off we go, (used the outhouse first), and through the woods we go, mostly to all down hill. Yikes, this means all up hill to come back. OMGosh, what a beautiful site, walk, hike, LOVED it! Spent some time down on the reef, climbing over big rocks, looking at the wild life (Sea Lions) across the way. Finally, we hiked back up, and got into truck and drove to next destination, Agate Beach. Beautiful drive, beautiful beach, but we were laughing and talking about the bike ride the entire way, as we had planned to ride the bikes all the way to this beach. Ha Ha Ha on us, flat, what a joke, so many up hills, I wouldn't have made it. I might have made it, but with the cramps, I probably would have fainted. One thing, we may not have made it, but we sure got a good bike ride in and a good workout. We decided to measure the distance, just to see how much of a ride we did do. We did more than we thought. We rode 2.5 miles going mostly uphill and 2.5 miles back for a total of 5 miles. Not bad for beginners. I do have to say, TOM visiting and biking don't go well with hills. I was apologizing to hubby for not being able to go longer, but he laughed, heck, after I rode that first hill, and you in lead after that, and cruising up the other hills, I hollered at you to stop, but you didn't and until we got to point where you stopped, I was ready to just turn around, I couldn't believe how you be cruising. My legs feel like jello. I may be in better shape, but that did me in. You surprised me. Anyways, we hiked on the beaches, trails, and today, Sunday, we packed up early, headed back to Shark Reef, as it was so awesome. We hiked down and OMGosh, their were more Sea Lions, Seals, and Bald Eagles, and we sat and watched them play, swim, catch salmon, sun bath. It was so spectacular. I was bummed I didn't have a camera or my digital camera not charged as it was a site to see. I did get pics on disposable from Saturday, but none today.
Ok, Saturday night, after exploring, we had this nice lunch, but I couldn't eat, it turned out to be dad's and Shyanne's dinner. We were all still full from lunch and at late lunch time, Shyanne was hungry and Dad was a little, so they ate one sandwich and some healthy snacks, then got to camp and at rest for dinner, and not me. I was so bloated, hurting, I drank water. We enjoyed our evening by the fire, and put tarps up over tents as here comes the rain. Off to bed we go, and OMGosh, did it storm, the wind was so strong, hubby and I were up most of the night. Yep, the wind picked the tent and us up off the ground slightly, and couple of the stakes came up, hubby and to run out and re-stake our tent freezing cold and barefoot. I had to go out and secure Shyanne's tarp. Back to bed we all go, our tent bending so much, tarps flapping, and the ocean sounding like it was right up on us. Well, off to sleep we go, if we wake up to the tent on us, then be it, we already got up 3 times to fix. We woke up to beautiful sunshine, warmth and still in tact! Whoo, we made it through the night. I do have to say it was kind of scary in the tent in the middle of night in a bad rain/wind storm in the wide open.

Ok, ok, I HURT and I hope all my tagging friends HURT TOO! Today, I got up, took my wonderful devoted husband to work. Bless his heart. He really tries to help me succeed. Anyways, stopped at the boardwalk to do my burn. I burned 521 calories. Mind you, it is 6:30 AM and I am beginning my walk, I am not a person who has ever gotten up early to workout. Yeah, I am an evening or daytime, but NOT morning. This is something new. I did it yesterday, got slightly later start, but today, 6:30. I was done and home by 8:15 AM. Wow, pretty cool. I not only walked the boardwalk, at the end, I did 50 wall pushups, waist twists, arm rolls, then started walking again, then back, and the wall pushups, waist twists, etc... Well, then, and don't ask me why, but I got this little inclining in my brain to jog, yeah, you heard me right, jog. I decided to see if I could jog to the first sign. Whew, I made it. I begin walking to catch my breath. Mind you, I NEVER been a jogger or runner, that is not me. On my last lap, at the end, I looked after doing my sets of strength, and decided, hmmm, can I jog to the 3rd sign? So off I go, I made it! I started on my water early too!
I am so excited, I have a lot to do, but excited for leaving tomorrow. I leave at 1:00 to pick DH at 2:00, and head for the ferry. I get to get more ouch ouch biking Lopez Island. The tag game has been crazy, all the tagging, yet fun, but my poor body is feeling the burn.
Note: my list, I am editing yesterday's blog!
