What is it about 230?

Back in 2009 (yep, November of 2009) I weighed 230 lbs and I was DONE. I logged onto SP and proceeded to power through 30 lbs in about 6 months. Fast forward 3 ::cough::: years later, and here I am again. Post baby, yes, but hell 230. Again.

Sigh.

  I'm at 226, I keep losing about 10 lbs then getting back up.... This time I plan to stick to it. I could really use your help. You did it before and you can do it again!! ;) I'm actually ttc, so now I'm worried that if I do get preggers, I will be right back where I am now. emoticon

    It seems pretty eerie to me that you and I are on such similar cycles. We both joined SparkPeople in November, 2009 and we are both right back at 230 in April, 2012! I don't know about you, but I plan to get back on track starting right now!

    That girl on your background picture is about 130#, I'd guess. Jillian Michaels is 5'2 1/2" and 118# from what I have read. I know you can get these pounds back off and have the body you want.

    I think we all have a *magic* number like that. Mine seems to be 185 (i'm pretty short) and every time I am ready to recommit to getting healthier, that's where I always end up starting at!

    Oh the baking supplies! I've gotten into the chocolate chips quite a few times this year because there were no sweets in the house.

-For baby to be here (3 weeks till his due date!) so we can meet our little guy.

-To begin my recovery from labor

-To have a glass of red wine on a nice evening

-To take advantage of the summer and spend time out on walks with baby

-To begin shedding the baby weight

-To enjoy being a stay at home mommy to our precious little one!

I Can't Wait!! :-)

Update for my Sparkler friends!

Hi everyone!

Things are chugging along fine. It's hard to watch the scale go in the 'wrong' direction of course (I'm up 23 lbs....eek) but health-wise baby and I are doing good. I'm now 29 weeks, so officially in the third trimester. Next weekend we are getting 3D pictures of Evan and I can't wait! (Will post some to share here!)

My shower is in a few weeks, the nursery is coming along, basically we're at the beginning of the home stretch and I can't wait. I don't particularly "like" being pregnant like some ladies do; but of course I want him to 'bake' until his due date (May 24th). Just hoping it gets here quickly...hehe.
