This workout took me 60 minutes, much longer than I thought. I have a head cold, so I don't feel I worked as hard as I could... Tomorrow will tell, depends how sore I am. I can say that I worked my hamstrings really well, they are tight, no matter how much I strech.
Tomorrow is a rest day and I know that I need it. I will make sure that I still get in my cardio workout, mainly because I feel tons better exercising than not.
Ok, off to bed early :)

Where was my tricep workout??? I seemed to hit every muscle except my triceps! It was another killer workout, shorter than the first week or maybe I am becoming accustomed to the idea of circuit training. I added in 45 minutes of running today to round off my workout. Something tells me that my calves are going to be killing me tomorrow. All the jumping, sort of made my stomach turn and not feeling so hot right now... But to be fair, I also have decided that the way I am feeling is NOT allergies and indeed a cold... So it actually could just be that I am sick.
A healthy dinner and early to bed I should be good as new and ready for tomorrows killer workout!

Today I am tired... exhausted! Thanks to NE crazy weather pattern, we are having a warm day. While its nice to hold on to summer for a few more days, it kicks my allergies into high gear. I woke up with a terrible sinus headache and took a couple of benadryl for headaches and sinus. What a bummer that it drains your energy...
Enough complaining, today would be day 7 with Jillian's 'kick my butt' plan and it is another rest day. I decided that meant active rest and not sit on my butt do nothing rest. I spent 70 minutes on my elliptical today and can't wait to hit the weights tomorrow. I weighted in today at 124, although I highly doubt that I gained back the 2 pounds I lost in 1 night! I think the lack of sweat producing exercise made my body hold about 1.5 pounds of water. I tried to keep it low sodium today with the hopes that in the AM I will be back to the 122. I know I can do it... I am already loving the way my arms look... By week 4 I should be smokin'!

Ahh, a true rest day and time to reflect on this program. I have to say that I love the workouts, not matter how hard they are, they make me feel strong. In one week I can see a slight difference in my muscle tone, I am 1.5 pounds lighter and my energy has increased. I no longer am craving any sugar... which in itself is amazing.
I admit that not working out today is making me feel like a lazy slug, but I also know how important resting is. Tomorrow is also suppose to be another rest day, but I will take that as active rest and get myself ready for another tough week with Jillian :)
Have a great Saruday...

And this completes week one of MTC... what a killer workout I had this week. Between the circuits and my regular cardio, I am burning 1000+ calories a workout. I have a ton more energy, so mus that I even got myself out of bed at 5AM to do 87 minutes of exercise! I haven't had that type of energy since I was a teenager!
Day 5 is a repeat of day 1. I am sore and ready for an off day. Tomorrow I get to do that, a true rest day. I officially lost 2 pounds this week and am excited to start week 2. I had to make some modifications to this workout plan due to my own physical limitations and lack of equipment at home. Although I am still hitting all the same muscle groups as listed in her workout.
