not much to write today...

Today is Wednesday, hump day, gym day at school, and rest day for my family. Love to be able to hang out with my husband and daughter for the whole night! :)

Hopefully the wind will die down so we can take an outside walk...otherwise it'll be trying to convince my husband to do cardio with me in front of the TV...

needing sleep and a prayer...

Woo--what a night!

My baby girl is either sick, teething, or growing, cause she did NOT sleep last night. My wonderful husband was up with her from 10:00 until 12:00...just about every 10 minutes, either changing her, cuddling with her, rolling her back to her back....whatever...so momma could sleep (I had gone to bed at 9pm with a pounding headache and runny nose, yuck.)

So at midnight I took my shift. Fed the baby, changed the baby, rocked the baby, talked to the baby...finally at 1:30am she fell asleep.

I'm exhausted and have a cold. Hopefully I will make it through today. :)

    I remember those nights all too well... and I know how exhausting it can be. I will pray that you all get some much needed rest and that tonight is much better.

Monday again...

This was not the best weekend...I think I've decided that I'm going to let it go...I want to make good choices, but I also want to live and I want to give myself a break, and I don't want to feel guilty every time Monday comes.

I'm so good during the week, at tracking, working out, etc...and Saturdays are just so hard for me...I don't get online as much, we eat out more and are busy busy busy...

So I've decided that I'm going to try to make good decision on the weekends, but I'm not going to obsess about it and I'm going to be okay without being on Sparkpeople every day of my life.

What do you think my Sparkpeople friends?

    It is SO hard to stay on track for me on my days off too. Going from place to place with the kids or out with others. I agree with Sharon about just writing down your foods on a little note pad to keep accountable and plug it in later. If you need a day a week that is a "Free" day sometimes don't beat yourself up about it too bad. We all have those days sometimes.

    Hi! I'm Sharon. Well, I know the feeling of coming back to Monday's and feeling guilty of the past weekend. I have been pretty good about my weekends, but this past weekend I went out of town and it was CRAZY...snacking like crazy, bad foods! Oh did I mention snacking? LOL. I have just recently hit my first goal of 20lbs. and am rewarding myself this Sat. with a massage, I just don't want to do my weigh in on Friday and GAIN...I won't feel like I deserve that massage then.

Soooo, anyway...I beat myself up about this past weekend...but now I know I have to look ahead and do everything hard core this week! Take your time for a second or two to fee bad about your weekend, but move on! Look forward.

As for being better on the weekends...even though you're busy and don't get online often, maybe just write down what you eat. Keep a little note pad in your purse or something to help you write stuff down when you go out, or just through out the day at home. And then maybe sunday night sit down and enter everything in just so you can at least see the numbers.

I hope this was a little helpful. I feel like I just rambled. LOL. Good luck to you! And if you can do it during the week, then you can be JUST fine during the weekend! You're not alone though! Everyone struggles when they are outside of their routine through out the week.

weight loss....

This morning is weigh in and I lost 1.8 lbs!!!!! Feels SO good!! My weight loss partner gained a pound though, so that made me feel bad, but it happens to all of us (especially women, right? Grrrrr...)...

Anyway--it's a rainy day today, so no outdoor activity...I'm walking in a 5k tomorrow morning, so hopefully it's gets it out of it's system before then....DON'T want to walk in the rain! :)

This morning did not start out on the best foot...ate a bagel (a whole big one!), then fought with my wonderful husband, lost the suctions to my breastpump which will screw with my whole day (I'll have to go home to feed Claire--blessing in disguise), the car was frozen over and the heater wasn't working, this is not looking to be the best day according to what's happened already....

Need to make it better than it's been!!!!!
