lost a pound and a half today...after gaining it last week. i just don't get it. i've been making really great choices, working out every day (walking and my wii active)...

oh well...I'm not gonna worry about it, my skinny pants fit me, and that's all I'm gonna worry about.

Happy Friday everybody!

good job lady - rollercoasters sure don't make things boring. Tell ya what...I did not lose a single pound in 3 months, then BOOM, this week, I'm down in the 140's --- it will come off - sometimes when we least expect it. Continue doing all the good that you do, your body is probably just saying "you're not the boss of me!" (my attempt at a joke). Stay confident, keep the positive attitude and before you know it, voila, you'll see the weight come off. Good job on the skinny jeans!

Congratulations there really are other ways to measure loss besides the scale but it would be nice if the scale would cooperate. Good luck and enjoy your journey it's a beautiful day.

Could be with all the walking and exercising, you've traded in some fat tissue (ugly word, isn't it?) for some MUSCLE -- and that's the trade-off. Congratulations that the jeans fit! Go for it!

WooHoo!

CALL OUT for WII ACTIVE help!

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Anybody know anything about how to make the inline skating on the Wii Active actually WORK? I am crouching and jumping like a maniac, but I just almost fall every time...like, literally 1 or 2 out of 9 tricks.

Heeeeeeeeelp!

another day...

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Well...

I had a good day yesterday...finally got back on the Wii Active, took a walk with Claire, and stayed within my very low calorie range...Had a yummy healthy dinner and ate 5 (yes, I counted very slowly) chocolate covered peanuts during Lost.

I will do it again today!

breastfeeding calories...

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

well....

I've had 500 calories added to my nutrition tracker since my daughter was born, and I'm still breastfeeding her...But I started to wonder if that extra 500 calories was why I'm not losing weight...

She's still breastfeeding, 3 times a day , and I'm pumping once a day...but it's a lot less than it used to be because she's eating real people food now.

We'll see if A)I can get myself to eat 500 less calories a day (yikes!) and B) if it helps.

Wish me luck!

Keep an eye on your supply! Your breastfeeding is such a small and sweet blip on the radar of your life with her, enjoy it!

Good for you for nursing. That's wonderful! Be careful about limiting your calories. You don't want your supply to tank, which sometimes happens. I didn't adjust my calories here on SP; rather, I went by the Points on WW. I never had that issue, but I know someone on a forum I frequent had to maintain calories to maintain her supply. Good luck!

pizza and omelettes and cake...oh my!

Monday, March 22, 2010

Yes. This is what my diet consisted of this weekend.

We had a LOT of leftover pizza and cake in the house from my birthday party...and that's about all I ate whenever I was eating at home this weekend.

Oops.
