Down .4 over the last 3 weeks.......

I'm down .2 this morning (184.6) ..... although I'm glad I'm maintaining I have a vacation coming up in 10 days that will last 10 days....and even though my intentions are good I know how mean scales can be when you get home from a vacation....so I would really like to see some movement on the scale over the next 10 days. Hopefully that motivation will keep me semi on track on my Vacation!

So watch for losses this week on Thursday and Friday and then hopefully on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday next week. emoticon I'm going to set an unreasonable goal since I have only lost .4 over the last 21 days...but each one the days I listed above I would like to report a .9 loss......lets see how close I can get!!!

    I just blogged about losing weight on vacation. I know it can be done. For me the main things - avoiding alcohol because then I eat too much and walking everyday.

Eventful week

Over the last 8 days ...I have had my usual Saturday night partying emoticon a Mother's Day Pastrami burger...a 10 year Anniversary Dinner at McGrath's fish house ...several nights of drinks and snacking shockingly enough I managed to maintain emoticon I am now going to spend the next 12 days on my best behavior...it's time to get out of the 180's!!! emoticon

It's a good thing I am addicted to food and not Alcohol and Drugs because if I was I would be in a rehab center most of the time ... emoticon I have a very loving supportive husband and a best friend that is also on Spark that I can contact anytime ....yet I still chose to binge eat a lot of the time. emoticon it is so frustrating!!!

    You do have a great support system, but as the others have said, we all still fall down. I think FRUITYFUL has a very good point, alcoholics can avoid alcohol, they can avoid situations where alcohol is consumed. If they had to still have alcohol to live, they would struggle just as much as we do with food.

    We all fall down sometimes, or a lot of the time. The only important thing is that you continually get back up. The only time falling matters is when you chose not to get back up.

Just remember you are NEVER a failure. You always have a second chance to succeed and as long as you are learning something (weather or not you make the lesson apply) you are still succeeding.

    I also messed up the last couple of days. I wouldn't call it binge eating but I did go well over my calories. So we fell down. The good news is, we can get back up and get back on track. You can do it!

    There's only so much you can do. Sometimes, friends and family can only help so much. Alcohol and drugs might be an easier addiction to deal with, because you can completely avoid it. You cannot completely avoid food.

You have all the support out there, when you need it, use it. If you slip up, just don't beat yourself up! There's not one single person on this site who has not slipped up.
