I dumped water on my computer yesterday emoticon Now te backspace and two of te letters are no loner workrin ... Im sure you can fiure out wic two by readin tis...........

    Yes, you can replace a keyboard on a lap-top. But you have to be sure that it is just the keyboard that is not working. If it's more than just the keyboard, then you know replacing it won't help.

I'm sorry Kristi, if you need to talk just call me! I had a phone fall into the toilet and once I dried it out, some things didn't work...but after several days or a week, as it continued to dry, eventually everything worked! Maybe that will happen with your computer? I hope so!

Hang in there girl, don't let this accident ruin everything for you!

    Hopefully, the keys will come back. I had a few keys break on my lap-top and my husband just replaced the keyboard.

More water ... Less Sodium

It's time to start tracking my water intake make sure I am getting at least 14-8 ounce glasses of water a day....and it's time to start focusing on less sodium....I didn't see any movement on the scale this week and I'm hoping it's due to those two things....because I know I'm getting enough food and exercise!

    I think that's a great idea. When things aren't going the way they should, it's time to change things up a bit and tweak your plans.

    I believe less sodium is the key. Sometimes when I have been going over my calorie range but staying within my sodium range, the scale still moves in my favor. emoticon emoticon

    You could come hit the gym with me. I'm there Mon-Sat usually at 5 am. Strength training can be a pain (pun intended) but it is so worth it!!!

Vicious cycles ... I see a pattern

So every year when spring hits (my favorite season) I always struggle with food ...I don't know why but, my appetite increases.....and all I want is BBQ crap!

I don't have time for this BS this year....I have to find a way to get past it and still get close to my 2 pound a week average....I have a graduation I'm going to soon and I want to feel good ..scratch that GREAT about myself.

So If I want to eat I need to get off my butt and get walking! I need to start hitting 130,000 steps a week now that the weather is good! emoticon Sunday will be my rest day (10,000) steps emoticon

Wondergale- If you get a Fitbit you will be surprised at how easy it is to rack up steps....and with your husband being so competitive I bet he would end up wanting one too. emoticon

    Is it the actual BBQ sauce on meats that you like? Or just the atmosphere of grilling out?
I like the fun atmosphere of grilling out, being outside, everyone playing and running and enjoying the weather, and of course the food and wine goes hand in hand with that.
I am a vegetarian and have always been, so I don't know the treats you are struggling with, but I have always enjoyed grilled vegetables. One of my favorite in the summer is one I never thought I would like.
I dice zucchini and squash (which I usually HATE) and take fresh corn and slice it off the cob, sauté that with a tiny bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. Don't cook till its mush, just cook till its crispy. It is so sweet and so good!!
Another one I love love love, is corn on the cob on the grill. If you soak the whole cob in the husk and then grill it just like that (the soaking is important so you don't set the husk on fire), its moist and tender and sweet and I don't miss the butter.
And of course I love baked potatoes on the grill, I find a small amount of butter (I actually use Earth's Balance because I love butter too much to use a tiny amount, so its best to just not have that in the house) and salsa. Sounds weird, but its so good and so light!

    Had Perky Turkey Jerky today for the first time. not bad, not BBQ, but something and only 100 calories a bag.

Other than that, great for recognizing you want to look great and taking action!

Food that have helped me so far this year

If I am looking for a Low Calorie, Low Sodium, Low carb, High Fiber Item .....I turn to Raspberries or Apples.

If I'm looking for a Low Calorie, Low Carb, High Protein Item I turn to Eggs or Mozzarella Cheese.

If I'm looking for High Fiber, High Protein I turn to the Jolly time 100 Calorie Kettle Popcorn.

If I'm looking for Low Sodium, High Protein I turn to Greek Yogurt.

I also like to eat Frozen Waffles (just toasted nothing on them)
Taco Soup (Weight Watchers recipe)
Kashi Pizza
Smart Ones Breakfast Sandwiches
Subway (I get the 9 Grain Honey oat bread, Grilled Chicken toasted with no cheese, Honey Mustard, Spinach, Tomatoes,Green Peppers and a little bit of Onion.

    All of those sound like yummy choices! Perfect example of how eating healthy does not mean you have to eat cardboard.
