SUMMER CAMP

Tuesday, June 26, 2007

HELLO - I didn't blog this Sunday because I didn't lose any weight but, I wanted to let you know what I have been working on so here it goes!

I was invited to be a Camp Counselor at Camp gonnaBfit this summer my nickname is Honeycomb and I live in the Beehive Cabin. So far it has been a lot of fun, I have 26 girls in the group including me and we have a lot of challenges to help us get motivated and places for accountability and support.I hope the girls continue to be so excited, it really helps to motivate me.

Next Sunday is my 8 mo. weigh in YES time for new photo's I hope to lose some weight this week other wise I will only be down 3 lbs from my 7 month weigh in. Next week I will blog my starting measurments and my current measurments.

Talk to you then!

Hi Kristi! I'm in the beehive and just read Day 1 challenge. I am a little behind (wish that were true litterally!) and am just getting used to being at camp. I have made some major changes over the last several months and am on the right track to being thinner. Having a thyroid problem to deal with doesn't help, but I am determined to overcome this obstacle--like David did Golith! See ya!

    Kristi,

I know wanting to have more weight off is a goal for your 8 month weigh in but you need to realize that you have come along way and 3 pounds in one month is not bad...look at what you have accomplished so far...sometimes your body needs a rest from losing weight and it stops and sometimes your body is at a satifying weight that it likes as well...I know I have been struggling for the past month or two at the same weight...but we have to look at things like...we have made a life time change to our eating habits and we have improved ourselves..in a way that we can be proud!

You keep up with what you are doing and be proud...I know I am not one to do as I say but I sure do give some words of encouragment..I just wish I could talk to myself like I do others sometimes to help myself...WAY TO GO MRS. HONEYCOMB!!

WATER

Sunday, June 17, 2007

It has taken me a really long time to come to grips with this but, I think I finally did today! When I feel wore out or tierd or hungry I am none of those things..............I am dehydrated!!!

I cant belive that water makes that kind of a difference but, I guess since that is what a good % of body is made of that would make sense????

LOL

I'm starting to find my Spark Again..........

Sunday, June 17, 2007

I did'nt blog last week because I think for the first time I did'nt lose any weight but, It was'nt like I was trying either so this week I put an extra effort into the eating part and only missed 1 of my scheduled workouts for a total loss of 3 lbs this week. I missed my Fathers day goal of 179 but, Hey I'm still here right!!!!!!! I am currently at 181 and I am going to set a Birthday goal of 173 the Sunday before my birthday. 173 is a magic # for me because it means I am not longer Obease.

See you next week.
lol

I got Lucky!!!

Sunday, June 03, 2007

Well I got Lucky this week and was down another pound! I made a lot of poor food choices but, mostly portion control was my problem. I did a lot of closet eating but, this week is going to be better.

This is my month weigh in and I belive that I lot 7 lbs this month. I am now at 184. so I have lost a total of 76lbs and I have 54lbs to go. I would like to lose an average of 2.25 lbs for the next 24 weeks so I guess I better be on my best behavoir.

I only need 11 lbs to not be obease any more and 39lbs to no longer be over weight so those are the two goals that I am reaching for right now.

See you next week. check back tommorrow and I will have my new Photo's up!

Woo hoo! That's great Kristi...you didn't gain any and you even lost a pound. A small slip-up, if that's what you want to call it, is perfectly normal. You have done wonderfully so far and you will continue to do so until you reach your goal. I'm looking forward to seeing your updated pictures. Hang in there and realize that you are doing great!

Two by Two

Sunday, May 27, 2007

I am happy to say I am down another 2 lbs this week that is 9 & 1/8 T. of butter off of my body Every single day!!!!!

I can honestly say that I am happy with 2 lbs per week its slow but, steady. I dont think I could have kept motivated in the begining with only 2 lbs but, now if I hit 2lbs per week that means I will be at a healthy weight by Halloween and that is fast enough for me!

Next week is Photo week...........see you then!!!

Hi Kristi, congrats on your weight loss journey, sounds like your slow and steady which will allow you to win the race!!!! I have at least 75 lbs to loose and find it hard to think of that much at a time so i'm trying to break it down in 5 lb goals and not be so overwhelmed. I am using the WW plan and trying to track everything i eat. It's hard sometimes but i'm determined this time to make it work.. Cant wait to see the pictures of you.. Debi
