Well it looks like I'm not ready for maintenance right now ... not counting calories is made my food choices OUT OF CONTROL emoticon so it looks like I'm going to have to count calories through the summer ....I'm thinking if I walk 60 miles a month I should be able to eat 1500-1600 calories and still lose 1 pound a week.....so we will try that and see what happens emoticon

  I haven't been tracking for over a year. I know I need to because I have not lost a pound since I stopped. I just wish there was a way you could type all your food in at once and it would give you your total. Instead of putting in each food in one at a time. I know this is an excuse but with working 60 plus hours a week it is tough taking the time to putting my food into a tracker. Thanks for sharing and sorry to vent. Just been another long week. emoticon

    I used to before I started working 2 years ago....It's just really hard to make time for it.....but, I know I need too. BTW thank you for you photo food blogs.

    Yes, counting calories and fitness seems to go hand and hand. Itís amazing to find out how many calories are in my favorite meals. I understand now why I didnít lose weight. My calorie in-take was off the scale. Good Luck!

    I am here...but not counting. I am not making good food choices. I am letting stress get to me. I know I will feel better if I just get back on track, but I'm letting outside influences stress me out to where I can't focus on it right now. If you start tracking, then I will start tracking. I promise!

    I agree....good plan! So check this out. I had every intention of getting up early and walking this morning, but I hit the off button on my alarm and went back to sleep for another 1.5 hours. It was lovely, but no exercise. I too am getting up early to walk for an hour. Aren't you 1 hour ahead of me? I need to get up at 5am. We should call each other if it's only a 1 hr. time difference!

Maintaining so far...

It's been 2 weeks and here is my progress:

So far I have not been able to work in my 2-3 days of Cardio ...I know I went from 7 days a week to I dont have time for 2 or 3 Really? So this week I have scheduled a Tuesday & Thursday workout ...I will get those done.

I also haven't been eating well during the week so that eating crap and having drinks on the weekend are ok ....but, I'm still eating crap and having drinks on the weekend! So this week I have set a goal to eat well breakfast and Lunch Mon-Saturday and only eat crap and drink Saturday evening and Sunday lunch...

Anyways .....so far I have been going back and forth from 188.8-192.0 ..I think that's pretty good...as long as I stay under 192.0 that's maintaining right?

The next work contest I believe is going to be starting a little earlier than I was wanting .. August instead of September / October...but, when ever it does I plan to be participating....I am planning a cruise to the Virgin Islands / Bahama's next May 2013 and I would like to be to my goal of 129 lbs by then.

Chai seeds and Ground Flax seeds 150 Calories

    In my opinion, if you're going to have a large meal, breakfast is the one to make big. It gets you off to a good start. Looks delicious!

    Looks like a healthy,wholesome breakfast....more calories than I consume for breakfast. I guess it depends on your weight, nutrition, and activity for the rest of the day. Have a blessed and healthy day! emoticon
