I found this on-line by Weight Watchers (It looked helpful)

5 pre-workout snack ideas

1. Half a chicken, turkey or lean roast beef sandwich on whole-wheat bread
2. Low-fat yogurt with a sliced banana
3. Low-fat string cheese and 6 whole-grain crackers
4. Hard-boiled eggs, yolks removed and replaced with hummus
5. Skim milk blended with frozen fruit to make a smoothie

5 post-workout replenishing meal ideas

1. One or two poached eggs on whole-wheat toast
2. Bean burrito: a whole-wheat tortilla filled with black beans, salsa and reduced-fat cheese
3. Stir-fried chicken and vegetables (try pepper, zucchini and carrot) over brown rice
4. Whole-wheat pasta tossed with chicken, broccoli and eggplant
5. Whole-grain cereal or oatmeal, with milk and fruit (such as a sliced banana)

    I like this post. I just rode my bike to work and I had a bagel and some yogurt for a post workout snack. Glad to know that I ate the right thing!

    Just so everyone knows I am happy with my weigh loss ... I'm just letting the game get too me. I know that 2-3 pounds a day is Good! Unfortunately to win the game ... the current winner is losing 4 or more pounds every single week....and my body is only letting me lose an average of 2.5 lbs per week. I'm very competitive and I wanted to win.

Not sure what happened this week emoticon on Tuesday I was in the 195's and Thursday I was 196 and when I went to bed last night I was 197 and when I woke up this morning I was 197.2 .... how do you wake up heavier then before you went to bed? IDK but, it's going to be really hard to not react to the scale.... emoticon I did good all week with the exception of 1 meal on Thursday but, even then I didnt pig out and I logged. Whatever!!!

    I agree, it's only water weight. Keep in mind that even if you have gained water weight, your body is still burning fat if you're eating right and exercising. (And you are!) Don't let this ruin your week. Next week the scale will probably show your actual weight loss plus the water weight loss. Keep on going! Remember, it's not what you do in one day or one week, it's what you do over a long period of time. I feel your pain. But don't let your mind sabotage how great you've done this far! The scale is not a reliable measure of your progress!

    I know how you feel. It is just water weight but it is so hard to tell your brain that. All your brain sees is the weight gain and it doesn't matter why. I have the same issue with the scale. Just don't get down, you are doing AMAZING!! emoticon

    Fluctuations are why I don't weigh that often. I only weigh on the weekends.

Mine and my husbands schedule's dont really work today for Valentines so we are celebrating tomorrow! emoticon

So I'm planning ahead ... we went to Bucca a few weeks ago and I froze the left over Chicken Carbanara so we will be having Steak, Carbanara, and Yummy garlic cheese bread! I am planning our date for the afternoon instead of the evening that way my body has time to work off the carbs before bed!

I will be eating high fiber low sodium in the morning and if needed a snack in the evening! emoticon

Back in 2007 when I was first doing Spark I didnt want to get off track with Chocolates and food we started a tradition ..every year on Valentines we go shopping together and we stock up on Socks, Underwear ect..... for the year. emoticon It's really turned into a fun date for us!

    I know everything involves food emoticon and then when we are done eating the last thing I feel like doing is giving him the Valentines present he really wanted. emoticon

    Traditions like that are so much better. I am trying to incorporate new traditions that don't involve food too. It's amazing how many of them do!
