Circuit Training

Thursday, February 09, 2012

I've decided I'm board with my Treadmill and I need to try something new sooo... I've set up my own Circuit Training.

I warm up on my Treadmill for 10 min. @ 3.0 then I run down my 14 stairs where I do 100 jumps with my Jump Rope .. I then run back up my 14 stairs get back on my Treadmill and walk for another 10 min @ 3.0 (while walking I do Shoulder presses for 3 min.) ...I repeat this routine until my treadmill says 60 min which is really more like 75-80 min then I end the routine with Situps!

I'm planning to do this 2-3 times a week along with just my Treadmill the other 4-5 days! emoticon

Well the $200.00 is not guaranteed ... that's just what I would have got if the contest was over now....so I'm still going for the $1200.00.

It's a Gillian (Jillian?) Michaels workout DVD. There are three workouts, supposedly at three different levels, but I think you can alternate pretty well. It's pretty insense, but it works without taking a lot of time. It's cheap too. Check it out on Amazon. Tons of people talk about it here too.

Have you done 30 Day Shred? I like that one. It only takes 30 minutes, including warm up and cool down. (Of course, now I am obsessed with p90x, which is at minimum an hour a day.)

I weigh myself almost every time I go into the bathroom. Don't feel bad.

One time I had my husband put the scale up somewhere, and then on my weigh in day he would give it to me to weigh in and then put it away again. You could try that. emoticon

I have the same addiction to the scale. I once tried not to weigh myself for a week, I made it about 4 hours. Good luck!! LOL!!

You go girl. There's no way I could start jumping rope yet. I'd beat myself up! I weigh myself once daily and have found it nearly impossible to only weigh once a week, so more power to ya!

It sounds from your post like you almost sabotaged yourself but you didn't actually. If that's the case - way to go! Keep up the good work. Think of these disciplines as one of the few investments that you can make these days that is sure to pay off. God bless you on your healthy journey.
