I'm not ready for my jump rope ... but I do need a change in workouts! So I broke out my Biggest Loser Dvd's ... I hope they do the trick.

Oh and the scale thing .... I've been on it 3 times already today emoticon really! emoticon

    It's a Gillian (Jillian?) Michaels workout DVD. There are three workouts, supposedly at three different levels, but I think you can alternate pretty well. It's pretty insense, but it works without taking a lot of time. It's cheap too. Check it out on Amazon. Tons of people talk about it here too.

    Have you done 30 Day Shred? I like that one. It only takes 30 minutes, including warm up and cool down. (Of course, now I am obsessed with p90x, which is at minimum an hour a day.)

    One time I had my husband put the scale up somewhere, and then on my weigh in day he would give it to me to weigh in and then put it away again. You could try that. emoticon

I'm going to do something that is really hard for me ... I'm going to not weigh myself in for an entire week! emoticon I know it sounds silly but, I weigh myself 3 times a day! emoticon

    I have the same addiction to the scale. I once tried not to weigh myself for a week, I made it about 4 hours. Good luck!! LOL!!

    You go girl. There's no way I could start jumping rope yet. I'd beat myself up! I weigh myself once daily and have found it nearly impossible to only weigh once a week, so more power to ya!

Eating Out!

We decided to take the girls to Buca Di beppo for dinner and Movie.... not a big deal except pasta seems to be a problem for me. So I got online and figured out what meal we were going to order "Chicken Carbanra" and what 1 serving was. It came to 720 Calories. So in order to be successful I then chose my Breakfast and Lunch to fit in with that number ... did my workout first thing in the morning 2:30am ( I had to work ) and when I got home we went to dinner around 3 and then to the movie.

I just wanted to report that I was successful .... it is the next day .. I feel great and I'm about to get on my treadmill. I have found eating out not to be a big deal .. a lot of places have a lower calorie menu and I have found a lot of things at a lot of places that I really enjoy! And if they dont have a low cal menu then from the very beginning I ask for a to go tray I split the meal in half and I eat the other half for lunch the next day!

    Great job! I did exactly the same as you when I was faced with eating out too! I had to travel for work a few weeks ago and they took us to a Buca, which I love but we don't have here, unfortunately they ordered for me so I didn't get to pick out a low cal food, but I just had small portions and tried to make the best of it.

    Thanks, we went to Dinner at 3pm and then the movie from 4:30-7 by the time we go home I was so sleepy I laid down listened to music and went to sleep....no need to eat anything else. emoticon

    Way to go! I am going to be tested in the exact same way today when Steve and I go out to a movie and dinner. You're doing such a fantastic job...I'm so proud of you!
