I woke up in a procrastinating mood today which has made me grumpy!

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

I had no problem getting my workout out of the way and I dont see any issues with getting my water in but, as for the food I've already made lots of bad choices and it's only 9am and I feel GRUMPY! emoticon I keep procrastinating things which makes me more stressed and every time I think about just getting things done I want to go medicate "with food" emoticon

You don't have to eat junk and be tired....sit in front of the tv and be lazy anyway. You're entitled to have lazy days without eating badly. Pop in a good movie, get a pillow and blanket and sit there and be lazy all you want and don't feel guilty about it!

Pop some popcorn if you want to. That will be a high fiber snack to go with your movie.

It's 4 and all I can think about it what I would like to eat....Why? Here's my guess ... if I eat then I will be tried and I can be lazy and sit in front of the t.v. ... it's looks really nice outside but, it's not so I'm stuck inside .. my husband is working a grave so he is going to bed at 4 in the afternoon =( I know complain .. complain .. complain...

Your day is still not shot. Start fresh when you wake up. Your tracker is not as bad as I thought it would be after reading your post. High fiber...low sodium. It's never too late.

Good News!!! After I blogged this I went and stuffed my face ... and then I tracked everything .. at which point I felt better (of course) the drugs had kicked in and right about the time I was going to come crashing off my High I decided that I still didnt want to accomplish anything that I was procrastinating so I started tearing my house apart cleaning things that have been bugging me that I never feel like I have time to do! It is now 4 hours later I currently feel better .. So yes I am going to figure out what to eat that is high fiber low sodium emoticon

I just looked at your food tracker and all is not lost Honeycomb! You still have over 800 calories left today. It is possible to eat low cal, low sodium for the rest of the day and stay on track or at least close to it. Don't give up girlfriend!

Do you feel grumpy because of the food you've eaten? I know that when I eat junk food, I feel like crap.

Hang in there Kristi, take it hour by hour. If you can't help but procrastinate, maybe use that extra time to do something that will help your mood, like squeeze in another workout, even if it's only 10 minutes, or go soak in the tub or take a hot shower or a quick power nap or treat yourself to a pedicure. Maybe after you do something like that, you won't feel grumpy and you can proceed from there.

You can do this! You've been doing this for a month and you are well on your way to looking and feeling great this summer!

That's great Kristi! I'm so happy to hear that it's all going so well. Keep up the good work. I'm right there with you. This has been my best week yet as far as water and food. I've got to get moving on the exercise but I'm a bit hindered by the back pain. I am so looking forward to getting the surgery behind me and recovering so I can exercise like I want without pain.

Applebee's Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Monday, February 14, 2011

Last time I was successful with my Spark Journey instead of never eating out we frequented Subway for Lunch and Applebees for dinner not that we eat out a lot .... anyways today we decided to go to lunch for Valentines day .. instead of taking a break from my Spark Journey (because it always takes me to long to get back on track) I suggested Applebees .. I ordered the "Signature Sirloin with Garlic Herb Shrimp" mmm it's one of there New under 550 Calorie meals. Off the subject a little .. I'm trying to track it but, I cant find it and I don't know how to add it ... Anyways It is now dinner time and well I forgot to plan one soooo .. I better get going before I get too hungry and end up eating crap! Happy Valentines everyone!

Go to add a food and then click on "Enter food not listed". Then you can put it in your tracker. Great planning Kristi and way to make a choice that keeps you on track! That meal sounds delicious!

That is fantastic Honeycomb! I know it's not the numbers you would like to see, but you MUST feel the difference in how you feel and how your clothes fit. Considering that you weren't even tracking food until recently, I think what you're doing is excellent!

By kicking it up a notch, what does that mean? I'm excited to see how well you do this second month. The most important thing is that you're on your way down to your goal weight and you're back to a healthy lifestyle. We are back in this girlfriend, and I am excited to see how well we do!
