Good Morning Spark Family!

I'm here to make a 1 day commitment to myself. I have my gym clothes on and I'm ready to go as soon as I hit send I am going to do an easy 30 minutes. I also have most of my food planned out for the day and I AM going to stick to it. I just woke up and so far nothing stressful has happened which is why I am so motivated and ready to go. My goal today is to deal with stressful situations in ways other then food. Honestly I think if I get stressed today I will go lie on a blanket in the sun and take a nap. emoticon

I miss taking care of my Spark Page!

November of 2006 I found Spark People... and then everyday for the next year I logged in everyday logged my food, water, exercise, checked in with my
TEAMs commented on every message that was sent to me ect..... when suddenly I decided that I was tired of the same old routine I was tired of logging my food every morning before I could eat, I got to where I was spending so much time on line trying to respond to every one that Sparked me that I could no longer find the time to exercise. One thing led to another I stopped logging my food then I stopped eat right exercising and drinking water. It is now a year of so later and I have gained 62 pounds of the 101 pounds that I had lost! I miss Sparking but, I'm so afraid to start again for fear that I will feel overwhelmed again!!!

How could someone with all my sucess just give up on myself like this?

I miss you fellow Sparkers!!!!

    You know, I got to thinking at the beginning of summer this same stuff. I had the most success when I first started SP and was so obsessed with my teams and friends. Now two year later I'm down weight, but in the last year, I've lost nothing. I've maintained, which is great, but pretty much weigh the same.

So I decided to step back up and try thinking about other people's journeys and try to help THEM because when I helped others I lost the most. So, I'm back on helping to admin the BLC challenge, I've jumped off Purple and have a brand new team. I'm excited about leaving "everything" behind and starting over.

I injured my leg last Monday so now I can't exercise for 6 weeks. I think I can start sooner than that, but it's gotta be easy swimming and cycling stuff. But it's made me slow down, so that's actually a good thing! LOL

You can do this babe!

    I earn my Spark Time. I exercise, log my food, etc. Then I set the timer, just a suggestion, otherwise it can take up a lot of time.

I'm in week 5 of my Marathon training. Yesterday I jogged 6 miles. I've got 3 training days this week and then on Saturday I will be jogging 7.5 miles.

I'm having to train by myself until close to the end of June since my daughters Soccer games are right over top of my group training. I'm not going to let that hold me back. Yesterday I got up at 5 am and did my 6 miles in the poring rain to get home in time to get her to her game. I got home just in time to get a message that said the game had been canceled due to the rain. emoticon I run in the rain for and 1.5 hours at 6 am and they cancel the game. emoticon Baby's!

Anyways my food is still out of control but, I am working on it. I'm not seeing any weight loss because of it but, at least I have stopped gaining.

I'm hanging in there! emoticon

Salt Lake Fit Weekly Run

Today was our 3rd meeting for the Marathon training.....we jogged 5.14 miles...and I made it! I'm still not making progress with my weight because I keep shoveling food into my mouth, hopefully as time goes on and runs get longer I will start to make better choices and keep my portions reasonable.

I'm doing this Marathon in October even if I have to walk the whole thing.

My goal today is to log my food and stick to it!

Portland Marathon Training Day #3

I decided that I was going to do my training day today instead of tomorrow since the weather report says snow is in the forecast tomorrow. Today I was supposed to run 35 minutes so I mapped out 3 miles from my house and set off. When I returned it had taken me 45 minutes to complete the 3 miles. Maybe my muscles are just sore from Saturday and Sunday.

Doing this training is really helping me with my calorie intake.

    Keep it up girlfriend! Even if you slip up food wise (you're only human) you will be burning all these extra calories! 26 miles, here we come!
