And its so funny because I'm sure you'll read it later, but I just posted something in Take 2 about how I've done two days in a row and how that's such a HUGE THING for me!! I was thinking probably everyone else would be like "what ever" but nope!! You know what I mean!!

Now, lets go do day 3.

WOOHOO! Keep it up, girl! You are a huge inspiration to so many of us! It may sound strange, but it's nice to know that even when you lose all that weight, it IS a constant struggle. I know it will be this way for me also! We're in this for the long haul, right? KEEP IT UP! Take care of you! - Stacy :)

Day #5

Monday, June 23, 2008

On March 25th I started counting days that I reached all my goals of Diet and exercise and I know it is going to sound pathetic but, I finally made it through Day#5.

Woo Hoo

5 out of 91 days no wonder I've gained 20 pounds. =)

Off to concur Day #6 I'm hoping a little faster this time.

Taking it one day at a time is good. I cannot tell you how many times I have started over. Let's do this!

Congratulations on making it to 5 days!! Really, that's a big deal!! I haven't made it 5 days in long a time, I'm probably right about the same with you, 5 out of 91 days. Although I haven't counted them up, I came back with full force to SP in late Feb early March, I'll be "good" for one maybe even two or three days, and then be "bad" for a week. So since Feb I've lost and regained about 5 pounds, over and over and over again.
Now I'm off to do better. All week. Yesterday was a bad day, but there is no reason I won't be able to make it all week this week. I WILL DO THIS

5 days is nothing to scoff at, that's 5 days that you did what you needed to do, now do day 6 and then day 7 and so on ... you can do it!

One year ago this was my blog.

Sunday, June 22, 2008

I didn't blog last week because I think for the first time I didn't lose any weight but, It wasn't like I was trying either so this week I put an extra effort into the eating part and only missed 1 of my scheduled workouts for a total loss of 3 lbs this week. I missed my Fathers day goal of 179 but, Hey I'm still here right!!!!!!! I am currently at 181 and I am going to set a Birthday goal of 173 the Sunday before my birthday. 173 is a magic # for me because it means I am not longer Obese.

See you next week.
lol
Kristi

p.s. It has taken me a really long time to come to grips with this but, I think I finally did today! When I feel wore out or tried or hungry I am none of those things..............I am dehydrated!!!

I cant believe that water makes that kind of a difference but, I guess since that is what a good % of body is made of that would make sense????

I just thought this was interesting so I thought I would share.

Looking Back

Saturday, June 07, 2008

So I decided to find in my blog when I reached my weight of 177 last year and I found it. It was on July 8th of 2007 the good new is that I have maintained 177 for the last year! The bad new is I have not lost any weight and kept it off in the last year. I'm going to use this as a wake up call and get this 55 pounds off before THIS YEAR comes to an end! emoticon

Maintaining itself is a huge success. Because you have maintained I believe once you start losing again you will maintain it! You probably need to kick your excercise up maybe get a personal trainer now. Please do not beat yourself up you should be so proud of what you have already accomplished and you have the knowledge to do it when you are ready I believe you will suceed at that last 50 something!!!
I had lost big in the past but I treated like a diet it all came back to find me and much added with 3 pregnancies and bad habits. I am learning to make it a lifestyle emoticon

I feel that looking back and seeing what was good and bad about your past experiences sometimes can give a little PUSH in the right direction. The process is slow, which you already know, but the reward is that much greater. Starting over and I are GREAT friends, but I think that now that I am in the 160's and moving toward the 150's I may keep up the momemteum. YOU CAN do this! I am here for you all the way.

Great attitude! I've been thinking the same way, trying to focus on where I was last year instead of my smallest in August.

That's a good way to look at it Kristi....at least you have kept off all that weight over this past year. You have not given up and that's key. I'm sure you will find that groove and get right back on the road to your goal weight. I know exactly where you're coming from. WE CAN DO THIS! We're over half way there! emoticon

Mothers Day - 5 year Wedding Anniversary

Sunday, May 11, 2008

Happy Mother's Day to all.............. Friday is my 5 year wedding anniversary so I don't have anything planned today I wanted to be able to go out Thursday night instead.

I got my workout in yesterday morning and I have to say It felt really good! I did really good with my food until dinner which was fine but, then I never quit eating after that? I got up this morning with bad food intentions so I'm not sure how long I will make it today but, I did start out with a bowl of All-bran and a Workout so at least I got the cardio and the fiber out of the way!

    Keep up the good work!

I did an 18 mile ride on the Jordan River Parkway this morning. According to my HR monitor I burned 2000 calories (nasty head wind on the 2nd half) I have been eating and hydrating ever since trying to stave off a big BONK. :)

Happy Mother's Day and anniversary!

You're doing good ... keep up the baby steps. You know how successful you can be and you know what you need to do to get there so you're the best person to listen to when it comes to advice. :-D

I just logged my food in my tracker. How long have we been able to make nutritional notes that everyone could see? I loved that feature but, it was pointless when no one else could view it. I think that one feature will help me to start tracking all my food again. =)
