I am going to complete Day #5 today! I have set myself up to succeed. It is only 11 am but, I have already done my cardio and I had a GREAT breakfast. I had a ton of Anxiety this morning but, I was able to get myself on the treadmill and work through some of it!

There are only 2 days left this month so when I make it through today and tomorrow that will be Day 5 and Day 6 which means that I was able to make my goals 20% of this month. Not the best I can do but, if I can do more then 20% next month then I will be making progress.

    Well ladies it looks like it's going to be more like 17-18% this month that is if I make it through tomorrow. I don't know why chips always look so tasty and why I think I need to eat so many of them. And then there's the Strawberry chex why isn't the whole box one serving?

Getting back on track

I knew keeping the weight off that I lost would be harder then losing it, and that once again in my life is proving to be true. Since last October I have been gaining and losing the same 8-10 pounds which has been super frustrating but, I'm happy to say that I still have not given up. I exercised this morning for the first time in a few weeks and I am determined to stay on track with my eating. So far so good. I am going to make myself some short term goals like I did in the beginning and see if I can get these 9.8 pounds off and then work on the last 37.

I know I can do it I just need to make it my first priority!

    You are the reason I joined SP. I read the article in People Magazine and I have decided not to give up. I just read your sparkpage and realized that you lost weight at the beginning like it was nobody's business. Unbelievable. I have only been able to lose an average of 8lbs a month. This said, maybe you are used to losing weight quickly and are getting frustrated that the numbers aren't going as fast as they used to? I might be wrong. But slow and steady. you are doing great, and are still and inspiration for me.

    I agree however I need to get to 122lbs first and then I will be ok with gaining 10 pounds losing 10 gaining 10 losing 10.......

    You know, the more I know people that are "maintaining" the more I come to believe that it's really about keeping your weight within a certain range, give or take 5-10 pounds, than it is about staying at one set number.

It also seems that this is way that the "naturally slim" people in my life behave. As soon as their belt gets a little too tight, they recommit for a while, and then just repeat that cycle as they need to.

Don't be too hard on yourself. :)

"Mommy Olympics" Update

Thank you all for helping my daugter..........It was a lot of fun we woke up this morning at 4:30 and got ready to be to the event at 6:30 am. I was Super nervous but, soon found out most of the mom's were. We did not win the big playset but, had a lot of fun trying. They had relay races, baby food eating contest and a tug of war. In the end Inna won a $250.00 Birthday party and the dog you see in the photo above.

Who knows there's always next year..........thanks again

emoticon everybody thank you so much for all your votes. My daughter could not have done it with out all of you! WE got enough votes to compete Friday morning for the play set!

If you live in Utah it will be on Fox 13 between 6:30 am and 9 am with Big Buhda! I will be the one with the Blue Spark Shirt!

I voted for you (Skinny's plea worked), and just got your thank you note - thought I'd better check your sparkpage to learn more about Friday - - and what I found was lots of inspiration!! Motivation

I have Motivated so many people so why cant I motivate myself?

I have gained 10 pounds over the last 6 weeks. I know I can do it .. now if I could just stay motivated for longer then a day! I only had 15 pounds to go and I would have no longer been over weight. 15 pounds .. I eliminated that in my first month with Spark!

  Are you eating enough? My weight elimination slowed down when I began exercising more and didn't know to adjust my calorie intake. Now that I am working on increasing my calorie intake and maintaining my exercise minutes, my weight elimination has once again adjusted accordingly. Either that or it just comes down to choices...are you making good ones.
Just a suggestion....try positively affirming each time you want something to eat that you are eating healthy and wisely, that you are fueling your body so that it has optimum health, that you are eliminating weight and your metabolism is performing at it's best.
Just throwing out some food for thought. I know you will find your solution.
