Yep I will always need Sparkpeople and all the friends I have made on here over the last 16-17 months. People have asked me in the past if I have lost the weight and never gone up so I would like to blog this so that people know that even I still struggle everyday..............I did really well for the first 9 months but, I have struggled since then not losing any more weight but, I have been maintaining that is until this month (except through the holidays) but, I quickly worked that off. I have to say the month of March has been the worst month I have had since joining Spark .. I have gained 8.4 pounds in just a one month period.

The good thing about it is that I'm still on here and I have not given up and I will not be giving up, I still plan to reach my goal of 122 pounds but, first things first I really want to reach 144 pounds so I can finally say "I am no longer over weight".

I hope everyone is having a GREAT day and thanks for reading my blog.

Honeycomb =)

You have done such a fantastic job so far. I too have been stuck at my weight for 9 months. I gained here and there, but lost it. Today I am starting with Clean Eating - Tosca Reno has a book and a recipe book - sounds great. With that and changing my exercise I am hoping to get to my goal by this June.
You are such an inspiration to me.

Getting a jump on it now, while it's still manageable, is so important. I know that in the past, you went way down and then way up. But you aren't doing that this time! You didn't just sick your head in the sand and hide the scale. You didn't just stop posting on SP and give up! You're facing reality and making a commitment to yourself to get back on track. That's excellent.

Thank YOU for posting this today! Itīs not fun to have the ups and downs! I canīt imagine that one single person walks this journey without them. Perhaps itīs just a part of the reality we live. My wtloss has been extremely slow and at my every SP check-up, I check the box saying that I am NOT happy with my wtloss progress! However, I AM delighted with SparkPeople and all that I have learned about myself and how to keep focusing on the steps towards my goals - not just the wtloss goal, the major progress that Iīve made in regard to my self image, too!

Two steps forward and one step will always be like that for us. The important thing is exactly what you're doing, you're not giving up! You're an example for people to see that even those who are very successful still slip up. You will show them how to get back on track. You have a new lifestyle and that will never change.

New Month New Me

Wednesday, April 02, 2008

Yesterday I was so glad that March was finally over. I started Spark in November 2006 and March 08 was by far the worst month I have had since starting...................However I then didn't start April out right I walked on my treadmill for 30 min. barely burning over 100 calories and then at about 2 in the afternoon I started shoveling food into my face. The thing that makes me angry at myself is I have a buddy on Spark that I can E-mail any time and get a quick response from and I could have stopped myself but, I chose not too. Why? Do I enjoy sabatoshing myself?

Today is a new day and I'm just going to get back on track and start Day #2 yet again.

Just keep puhing forward and you will diffentaly see the light (your rewards). Just like child birth, it is hard and at times difficult for the baby to see light but it is not that far away from seeing it, so keep pushing!

I really know where you're coming from Honeycomb....I have been going through this since about October. Seriously, just keep plugging away, keep exercising, keep trying to eat right, even if you slip up. The most important thing is that you don't give up all together. Try reading articles or posts on the discussion boards to remind you of the things you tried that made you successful in the beginning. Try figuring out how to make small changes in your life that will make it easier for you to be successful. You can do this...I know you can. We all have our setbacks, just learn from it and keep forging ahead!

I wrote a big blog about this and what I've discovered about myself. I think it's titled "interesting week". But for me the fear of success keeps me paralyzed and self-sabotaging when things start going "too well".

Other things that interfere with my momentum are: being too tired or too stressed. These things usually go hand-in-hand, but I find that I really need to keep balance in my life first, then the rest seems to follow.

Hang in there!

Day #2 "take three"

Tuesday, April 01, 2008

All right I'm getting in my workout's and I am feeling much better then last week.......... I didn't eat anything bad yesterday I just ate too much and was to lazy to log it so today will be Day #2 again for me but, I'm feeling good. If I just keep up the exercise one of these days the eating will click and I can start losing weight again.

Way to go Kristi! That's exactly what I did...kept up the exercise until the eating part clicked again. The good thing is that you feel good about things. Think positive and keep up the exercise!

Take it one day at a time, if today you are working out and feeling great about it, then give yourself a break. Doing SOMETHING is better then doign nothing. I am proud of you for re-committing and getting your groove back. :) I am here if you need anything.

April Shower's Brings May flowers Yeah Right!

Monday, March 31, 2008

Where is the rain? All I see is snow and honestly I'm pretty sick of it! It will be April tomorrow and I demand rain!

So Today is Day #2 again... I'm not upset about it because I didn't do bad yesterday I just got lazy and quit logging my food so I'm not sure if I went over my calories or not and my TOM dropped in 3-4 days early so I feel bloated! As weird as it may seem this is the week that I usually don't struggle with food but, in about 5 days all of the sudden Chocolate seems to be all I want chocolate covered everything so I will have to make a trip to the store to get some Newman's own Dark Chocolate bars!

Hang in there everyone Spring is on it's way I just know it!

Enjoy day 2. I hate today's weather, too. I was supposed to start Couch to 5K this morning, but with the snow I put it off to tonight. Guess I'd better get out there and freeze. :)

Yuck! It should not snow in Spring. (It does all the time, but I still object.) It's raining here. Come to Boston. :)

Sounds like my yesterday....hang in there! I wandered over here to ask you about TJ (I sent you a SparkMail), but since I'm here, I should tell ya that I know where the rain's in my backyard, and I'll send it for you ASAP. You can even send me your snow, as long as there's sunshine along with it. So sick of gray! Keep on keepin' on! April

Just keep plugging away CAN do this. I hope you start seeing Spring-like weather in your area. We have had snow, rain, and hail over the past week and starting this afternoon we're supposed to see sunny skies for a few days. I sure hope so! I'm tired of riding to work in my rain gear!

I'm still hanging out with Day #2 she proved to be a little tougher then I thought. I was doing really good when all of the sudden a jar of peanut butter and several bowls of Chex cereal jumped down my throat. I did get in a good workout and other then that I did not do too bad with the food. However I will be hanging with Day #2 again today.

You ate so little the day before. No wonder you were hungry. I love peanut butter. Peanut butter on graham crackers was my favorite first trimester treat. Try it for a splurge. Taste like a candy bar at far less calories and better nutrition.
