New Month New MeWednesday, April 02, 2008
Yesterday I was so glad that March was finally over. I started Spark in November 2006 and March 08 was by far the worst month I have had since starting...................However I then didn't start April out right I walked on my treadmill for 30 min. barely burning over 100 calories and then at about 2 in the afternoon I started shoveling food into my face. The thing that makes me angry at myself is I have a buddy on Spark that I can E-mail any time and get a quick response from and I could have stopped myself but, I chose not too. Why? Do I enjoy sabatoshing myself? ![]()

Boy do I ever relate to your blog!!! I have the same struggle!! I workout and eat right most of the day and then I binge!! I also get mad at myself for sabotaging myself!! Arrrrrrr!! Just keep puhing forward and you will diffentaly see the light (your rewards). Just like child birth, it is hard and at times difficult for the baby to see light but it is not that far away from seeing it, so keep pushing!

I really know where you're coming from Honeycomb....I have been going through this since about October. Seriously, just keep plugging away, keep exercising, keep trying to eat right, even if you slip up. The most important thing is that you don't give up all together. Try reading articles or posts on the discussion boards to remind you of the things you tried that made you successful in the beginning. Try figuring out how to make small changes in your life that will make it easier for you to be successful. You can do this...I know you can. We all have our setbacks, just learn from it and keep forging ahead!

I wrote a big blog about this and what I've discovered about myself. I think it's titled "interesting week". But for me the fear of success keeps me paralyzed and self-sabotaging when things start going "too well". Other things that interfere with my momentum are: being too tired or too stressed. These things usually go hand-in-hand, but I find that I really need to keep balance in my life first, then the rest seems to follow. Hang in there! Report Inappropriate Comment |


All right I'm getting in my workout's and I am feeling much better then last week.......... I didn't eat anything bad yesterday I just ate too much and was to lazy to log it so today will be Day #2 again for me but, I'm feeling good. If I just keep up the exercise one of these days the eating will click and I can start losing weight again.

Way to go Kristi! That's exactly what I did...kept up the exercise until the eating part clicked again. The good thing is that you feel good about things. Think positive and keep up the exercise!

Take it one day at a time, if today you are working out and feeling great about it, then give yourself a break. Doing SOMETHING is better then doign nothing. I am proud of you for re-committing and getting your groove back. :) I am here if you need anything.
