Ooh! Weight training with hubby sounds FUN! What a great idea! Your 100 pound weight loss last year inspired me to set my weight loss goal of 50 pounds for this year. Sometimes the 50 pounds seems a bit overwhelming, but then I think of your accomplishment, and I feel inspired all over again.

Mixing it up or just giving it time helps. You can do this... it was nice to be 160 but getting into the 150's is even better.

Preparing for 2008

Saturday, December 15, 2007

I took a peak at my chirtmas prezents and my husband is getting me a weight bench and weight's! I am soooooo excited I asked him about them and he said he wants to set up a program so that we can do them everyother night together!
For Christmas he is also getting me a $450.00 Gift certificate to a Profesional Massage Therapist I am soooooo excited! We dont usually spend any money on prezents for the two of us but, he decided this year we should!

I have set myself up a plan to earn the Massages. 450.00 gets me 13 massages for the whole year so I am going to plan on going every 28 days but, in order to earn them I have made myself some goals:

-I am going to run a 5k at least 4 times within 28 days
-I am going to do my Cardio at least 5 day's per week
-I am going to drink 14 glasses or more of water each day
-No BINGING I am going to stay within my calorie ranges each of the 28 days. ( I will have 1-2 planned days where I can eat out but, not binge.)

I am so excited he scheduled me an appointment for my first one this coming Monday (that way I can remember for the next 28 days what I am working for)

Talk to you soon!
Kristi

YOU THINK?

Wednesday, November 21, 2007

I found this formation in my Febuary 11th Blog and decided that if I want to lose the last 38 pounds mabey I should be doing what I did to lose the first 38 pounds.

* * *
FEBUARY 11th 2007
I am exersizing 6 days a week for 1 hour a day Except the 6th day I am working out 1hour & 15 min in the morning and 45min before bed. I have started doing 1 hour of Yoga a week so my Exersize time per week is 8 hours. This includes a 5 min warm up daily, 20min of Weights 3 days a week, 1 hour of Yoga, I belive that it is 3 hours and 30mins a week of cardio and 10 min per day of cool down streatching.
I am eating bettween 1200-1300 calories per day and I am drinking at least 15 8oz glasses of water ( included in the 15 cups is 5 cups green tea)

If you did this plan before, it DID get you to where you are now. So staying with the tried and true is an awesome idea. Plus if you haven't done this in a long time it will help shake things up and give you an added boost. You have done an amazing job so far!! What an inspiration you are to so many people!!
You will get to your goal in no time!! You already look amazing!!

DAY 367

Wednesday, November 21, 2007

I'm still just planning to maintain my current 160 pounds until New Years but, I am trying to put a plan for next year together and this is what I have come up with!

Here is a list of thigs I am going to buy for Christmas this year and also things I need to do to get me moving again:

a cheap weight bench ( $100.00 )
I need a scale that weigh's in .1 .2 .3 ect.....
I need new workout clothes
I need to take a trip to Wild Oats and buy a weeks worth of Organic grocery's.
I need to find a better Manicurest
I need a hair cut
I need to take the time to go tanning (this one sounds silly but, it really does help me?)

I have come across a lot of page's lately of ladies that were around my current weight as there starting weight and are now in 120's Villa. I have never been toned in my entire life and I thought why........why havent I and why shouldn't I be? So starting January 1st I am going to start working on tonning and I think in that process the last 38 pounds will come off.

It should'nt be too hard I will only have to lose bettween .7 - .9 a week to be at goal by my 2nd year anniversary.

All righty then enough rambling.

These sound like very achievable goals! Strength Training is a great step towards toning as you lose. I have a scale that weighs the .2 etc and for me it makes a difference. Continued good luck!
