DAY 367

Wednesday, November 21, 2007

I'm still just planning to maintain my current 160 pounds until New Years but, I am trying to put a plan for next year together and this is what I have come up with!

Here is a list of thigs I am going to buy for Christmas this year and also things I need to do to get me moving again:

a cheap weight bench ( $100.00 )
I need a scale that weigh's in .1 .2 .3 ect.....
I need new workout clothes
I need to take a trip to Wild Oats and buy a weeks worth of Organic grocery's.
I need to find a better Manicurest
I need a hair cut
I need to take the time to go tanning (this one sounds silly but, it really does help me?)

I have come across a lot of page's lately of ladies that were around my current weight as there starting weight and are now in 120's Villa. I have never been toned in my entire life and I thought why........why havent I and why shouldn't I be? So starting January 1st I am going to start working on tonning and I think in that process the last 38 pounds will come off.

It should'nt be too hard I will only have to lose bettween .7 - .9 a week to be at goal by my 2nd year anniversary.

All righty then enough rambling.

These sound like very achievable goals! Strength Training is a great step towards toning as you lose. I have a scale that weighs the .2 etc and for me it makes a difference. Continued good luck!

Hey everyone today November 19th is my One year anniversary! One year ago I was sitting in this same spot googling weight loss and somehow found "Spark" I lost 100 pounds this year but, for the last month have been struggling to keep 5 of them off. My goal is to get those 5 pounds off and maintain 160 until New Years.

Then next year my goal is too finish losing 38 pounds and hit my goal weight of 122. Thank you to everyone that helped me get to this point and thank you to everone in advance for helping me keep these pounds off.

Love, Honeycomb

I am so proud of you Kristi and so happy for your success! I have not spent as much time as I'd like to on here lately but I am always checking your blog and your page to see how you're doing. Not having internet at home is becoming a real drag. I miss not having access on the weekend and in the evenings when I have that late night craving for a gigantic bowl of cereal that I don't need!

Hey everyone sorry I have been MIA for the last week.............My computar got a virus last Sunday night and the programs that we have to stop the spyware from ruining our computar would not let us log on.

This is going to sound silly but, Monday night I cried myself to sleep it was like a pet of mine had died! My husband thought I was being silly but, still spent every minuate this week that he had trying to figure out how to fix the problem so that I would be able to log on today for my 1 year anniversary!

    * I understand. I go into panic mode if I cant log onto the internet. That is just simple not log on stuff, and I run around connecting and unconnecting routers, unplugging and plugging, its got to be one of these dang plugs or another. But then when you boot up and it still wont do what you want it to do, the palpitations start, breath is hard to catch and your life swims oh so fast in front of you eyes. "what am I going to do noooooow - I got no In-terr-neeeeeeeeeeet!!!' Of course nobody understands, they think I am a computer junkie at the best of times, but everything - bar nothing stops till either son and heir has done his stuff, or Mr Magic (at great expense) has come and taken stethoscope to sick puter. 'Keep giving it the pills Lady" .....:)

Doesn't sound silly to me. If that were me I'd be FREAKING!!!! I am so glad that you made it back in time for your Anniversary. It's a big deal.. You have worked very hard and you have much to celebrate. Your Spark Community understands this better than any one who has never struggled with the issues of weight and self- esteem. So have a wonderful day and I hope you have a grand Spark Celebration. WOOHOO!

One Week Left!

Sunday, November 11, 2007

I have one week until my one year anniversary with "Spark People"..............I'm still hanging out at 165. No fault but, my own I get up with good intentions everyday but, by 2:00 the pain of being thin is still greater then the pain of being fat!

What the crap? Did I just say that...........Ok this week will be different I need a last chance workout or lets say last week workout to get back to 160 so that I can change the title of my page to I lost 100 pounds in one year on "SP".

If I dont get my butt into gear this will be my first monthly photo to look the exact same as the month before.

With that said I think I will get my butt in gear and on my treadmill.

lots of love all..........Kristi

I know how you feel Kristi....I have done the same thing. My one year anniversary was a few weeks ago and I weigh more now than I did then. I have been wavering in the 160's and at times I'm REALLY frustrated but I keep telling myself that I've changed my lifestyle and I will continue to keep that lifestyle, even if I haven't been terribly strict with my calorie ranges. I will get back on track...and you will too....just keep plugging away. You are amazing and I know you can do it!

Unfortunatly I do not have to imagine what 95 pounds of fat looks like because I have been carrying it around for years. Ha Ha ok ok it's no laughing mater but, for those of you that dont know what it looks like go to the grocery store and pick out 95 packages of 1lb boxes of butter. And ta da.........

DIVEGODDESS 11/11/2007 9:45PM

95 pounds is amazing! I can understand how you wanted to make 100, but 95 lbs is just incredible! That's a whole small person (I used to weigh 95 lbs-but that's including, bones, organs and muscle. Can you imagine what 95 lbs of fat looks like?

Thnaks for the comment on my blog-yeah, luckily the girl scout cookies weren't mine, they were offered to me and I couldn't resist. I'm not buying any either-I'll eat the whole box in one sitting.

You look great and you continue to be my inspiration!

Just so everyone know's I'm not uspset with a 95 pound loss in one year I am upset that I had 100 lbs and allowed myself to gain back 5 right before my 1 year anniversary. I'm not so upset that I'm going to give up just a little disapointed in myself.

Thanks for all the Love everyone,

I have just read your sparkpage. I am intrigued. I don't really understand all the challenges and camps etc that are available, mostly because I don't know how to use the computer. My husband has an icon on my startup so it takes me right to sp. I don't know how to use the web, it puts me at a bit of a disadvantage. I know sp is where I will lose my weight. It's comfortable but pushy enough, I just need some inspiration from people who are losing. I'll want to keep up with them. I belong to many teams. I now realize the advantage of only a couple of teams so that I can get to know people on that sight and work with them. I'm going to add you to my sparkpage as a friend, I hope you will do the same. I wish you all the determination you need to get this last lttle bit off. I hope I hear from you soon

Here's a perspective changer for you. If I celebrate my one year anniversary at 165 pounds I will be dancing a jig. Please take a moment to celebrate your accomplishments instead of beating yourself up for your shortcomings. I can feel the pressure you have put on yourself. If you never lose another pound, you are still a champion. If you change your focus, I guarantee that those pounds will leave of their own accord! You are doing great. You have already achieved great things! You are wonderful!

Back to Basic's

Wednesday, November 07, 2007

I'm currently sitting at 165 and as of today I am going back to the basics.

Getting my butt out of bed early enough to workout before my day starts.

Logging all my food at the begining of the day and sticking too it!

I will start eating 6 small meals a day. ( I'm not sure why I stopped)

And I'm going to start an exersize streak............I have a planned day off every week which will be Friday but, I'm back to 6 days of week.

So here we go Day#1

This is where the hard work really comes in. It is all too easy to revert back to our old patterns. Once I reach my goal I will be watching that scale daily and making sure my weight never goes back up again.

I read your entire page and I am so impressed with your commitment, drive and progress! I can see why you were nominated! You are incredible!!!!! WAY TO GO! I have had to go back to basics several times. Sometimes all the measuring and counting can just get too much when life is crazy. But this program is so forgiving and it really makes you feel that even when your off the horse, your still a winner!! The members I have spoken to say "If your blogging or posting, you haven't fallen THAT far off the horse." I just wanted to stop by, introduce myself and give you a virtual highfive!!! Good luck with the rest of your journey! YOU ROCK!
