New plan

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

My new plan is to workout 5 days a week. I plan to take Wednesdays and Sundays off because they are such busy days. I am also eating between 1200 to 1500 calories a day so that will help with losing the weight. I am already feeling better because of exercising and eating right. This time I want to lose the weight for good, and keep it off and be in the best shape I have ever been!

It is time to get healthy again...

Monday, February 25, 2013

I am frustrated with myself because I let myself gain some weight back. On a brighter note, I have not gained all the weight back. Here is to a new start. I did it one time, I can do it again! emoticon

Feeling good!

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

I have come to the realization that I just don't feel good when I don't get my exercise in. I feel sluggish and tired all day long. But when I do get up and exercise, no matter how tired I am when that alarm goes off, I feel much better afterwards. It is worth giving up a few minutes of sleep. Plus, the more we exercise, the stronger and healthier we are. emoticon

Exercise really does make that big of a difference. Before I started exercising I would have never thought that I could actually gain energy from using energy!
Speaking of Key West, I need a vacation! Hope you enjoy your vacation! I bet it is beautiful there.

I have been on vacation for a week (Key West) and there was one day when I could not exercise. I felt tired all day.

Finally I have broke the plateau!

Monday, May 14, 2012

I am so excited- I finally broke the longest plateau I have ever had. I weighed in at 179.4 this morning! Can't wait to lose the next 5 pounds because it will put me in the 'overweight' category and out of the obese category! emoticon

May 9, 2012- I can see progress, other than on the scale!

Friday, May 11, 2012

I have been having a rough time lately with the scale. I have been eating right and exercising like I should and the scale just doesn't want to budge. I am stuck right at 180 and can't get below it.

I was thinking about this while cleaning the house and getting ready to leave to run errands yesterday morning. I walked into my bathroom to get changed as I usually do. I looked in the mirror and I was surprised at what I saw. My hips were actually looking smaller. So I turned to the side to see if anything else looked smaller. And sure enough my behind and legs also look smaller! For me, one of my goals is for my behind to be smaller. I have always hated how my backside looked and for it to be getting smaller is a big deal. Also, I have always had cellulite on the back of my legs that has drove me crazy. It is also starting to go away! emoticon

Anyway, my point is: don't always focus on the scale. You are probably losing inches even if the scale is not budging. So don't get discouraged when that scale doesn't move. You are probably just gaining muscle and that is why it isn't changing.
