Had an awesome workout today

Thursday, October 13, 2011

I spent 2 hours in the gym and loved every second!!! I started off with strength training with my personal trainer (which includes a 5 minute internal on the elliptical ( .33 miles) :) and then I ran 1.5 miles. Then I moved on over to the bike and did 5 miles. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Don't give up on yourself. You are the only one that can make it happen for you. You have the power to succeed or fail.

You have chosen to succeed.

Feeling Good

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

Even though the numbers are not going down as fast as I prefer, I am still happy knowing that I am losing weight and toning up at the same time :) People at my work comment everyday about how I am losing weight!!! Most...close to all of my pants are falling off and I refuse to buy any pants just yet!! lol My husband hasnt seen any of my results because he works out of town and I get to see him on every other weekend. :( So instead of letting myself go; I've decided to workout and take extra time for myself. My 4th anniversary is coming up 5 months and some days (April 12th) and I want to look my best. :D

Discouraged but Encouraged at the same time :D

I woke up this morning and was thinking I would take a day off since I slept in so late (9:00), but I was able to eat bfast with my daughter, get her ready as well as myself and was at the gym by 10:30 emoticon. I got on the scale only to find that my scale and the YMCA scale did not match at all. At home, it says that I've lost a total of 11lbs but at the Y, I only lost 5lbs. That was very discouraging but I realized that my clothes have gotten big on me so I know that there has been a change :) Even though I was a little discouraged I started my ST workout made by my personal trainer and then I was only going to run 1 mile, but I thought I should step it up. So today I ran 3 miles and even though I'm exhausted and a bit stiff,,,lol I feel really good. Now relaxing a bit before I go to work ;D

Is there anyone who doesnt weigh themselves or weigh in once a month?? How is that going for you. Checking the scale so often, I find myself discouraged than if I dont!! :)

I can do this!!! :)

I'm going to try to blog about my fitness goals and goals that I have met. :) Today, I did a 30 minute Bosu Blast class and then I walked 1 mile afterwards. I am trying to workout 2 times a day. Right now I workout Monday-Thursday; Friday I work all day, but during my lunch I would walk 30-45 minutes. If I can wake up early, I can go to the YMCA before work! I think I might purchase Walk away the pounds (WATP) and that could be something I do at home that is low key. I was even thinking of Yoga with Rodney Yee (he is my absolute favorite) and/or Pilates for beginners. If anyone knows any good workouts for YOGA/PILATES please let me know! :)
