Rough weekend

I have had a terrible cold since Friday, yesterday I was miserable and took 2 naps, ate too much, but today I felt much better and got right back on track with tracking my food and I exercised on the treadmill for 40 mins, yahoo, it feels good enough to exercise again emoticon

    Just be careful exercising too soon after having been can affect your heart which is a muscle. If you already have and feel great, then thats the answer.
PS will you filling in your food tracker?

Back on track

I decided last week that I needed to really focus on getting healthy and losing weight, that it will not happen without work and I lost 3.6 lbs this week, emoticon

emoticonI felt much better today, didn't feel food constantly calling my name, it gave me such a boost to see the encouraging responses I received, back on the treadmill again for another 35 min walk

Instead of going for food I went for the treadmill, I was feeling lonely and bored but knew if I gave in I would later be filled with regret if I gave into stuffing my feelings with food, so high five to me today!!

Diet Coke and Exercise

Well I have to say I was disappointed when I stepped on the scale to discover that I was the same weight as last week and I spent most of the day ruminating on this BUT then I started to think what I had accomplished last week, I went from drinking 64 ounces of Diet Coke, to 32 ounces a day, by drinking Crystal Light, Diet Coke is something I have struggle with for yrs, so this is a wonderful step in the right direction, well that good thought led to the fact that I had exercised every other day last week for at least 30 minutes, so what you may say, well I HATE to exercise, but I enjoyed it very much, sometimes walking with my 18 yr. old daughter and sometimes with my husband, so I guess this last week was a lot better than the scale showed :)
