Black Friday ~ I went to my Aunt & Uncle's house to drop off the extra router I got from repairing my bff's internet. Then went into town to run errands (gas at Murphy's, Church business and just a little food shopping. Well I had to buy those 2 pr of PJ's I found (my other ones were falling off). along with my almonds, ice cream, Hershey kisses with the candy cane pieces (Church Women's party), Pork Roast and BACON!!! Well I left my 14 yro son at home, gone 3 hours. I return home to find out the HOUSE of sucked up the Cable Remote!!! My son could not remember where he laid it down. We searched every where......So then I go running back to town to add $15 to my cable bill (taxes, etc). Just what I want to do.
Saturday ~ great day - did a few more things pertaining to the Women's Christmas party, Cleaned my minivan out of excess not needed. Will Vacuum another day.
Sunday ~ I fixed breakfast for my son, protein shake for me, showered and got ready for church. Son prefers to stay at home unless it's potluck Sunday. There's only him and another teenager at our church. I run the Sound Booth. Church ran a little over because of Communion. Went to store for milk and cat food. Got home and my son is complaining NO INTERNET!!!
So I hit the reset on the back of router. Nothing again, I unpluged it, still nothing for the 2 laptops, School Ipad, Smart Phone and Kindle Fire HD!!
Called tech support for the Motorola Router/cable modem - they told I could get FREE Tech support via the Web or pay them $30 an hour. He thought something was interfering with the wireless connection!
Next I called Staples - Talk to Tech - Told him what I had, what the problem was. He told me to call Suddenlink and have them PING the modem. If they could ping it - it's my router part, If they can't then it's on their end.
Called Suddenlink, their agent told me to unplug it, unscrew cable and replug/rescrew. They still couldn't see the modem on their end. I was all set to run to Staples ~ I was busy undoing the cords again when my son say "It's Working!" I said "Really! I just unplugged it!". Then it didn't work. So I replugged / rescrewed again and it is still working. Fixed a really late lunch (3 p.m.)
Do you think the 1st Cable Remote will quit playing Hide n Seek? I truly wish those things had BEEPERS or a # to call so it would make a sound! And I do hope the Gremlin is on a diet or visits their relatives!

She was 16 years old and left at 12:35 pm CST.
She had been having problems the last few days something to do with her stomach. I knew in my heart this would be our last day together in the physical world. I held her most of the day, talked to her, telling her sorry, that it was okay to go and cried!
Sorry that I didn't have the money to get her better, to see what was wrong, to even make her last hours pain-free!!
When she passed, I went and got the shovel and dug her resting spot, near to Skippy's (dog), Heart's (cat) ashes and Kali who we lost because of a house fire in 2011.
I still have 2 cats Tucker (5 yro) who tolerates Trixie (1 yro). Tucker didn't like Mary Jane. I almost lost Trixie last month to Bobcat Fever.
So here I sit with tears still flowing, going to miss her hitting the door to be let in and sitting on the end table next to the door to be let out and her looking at me hoping that I have some soft cat food for her to eat.
I am want to eat bad foods I shouldn't, go over my calories for today, just stuff my face.
I really also want to go take a nap but alas I had to pick up my 14 yro son with special needs (The counselor called me) and break the news that Mary Jane is gone. He'll have bouts of sadness triggered by anything related to cats. It doesn't matter whether it has been 9 years or today.
I feel a little better now, tears still flowing but it's time to ask my son what he wants for dinner. I will prepare what I put on my food tracker for lunch because I ate what I tracker for dinner for lunch because of comforting Mary Jane.

It is challenging .... When I started Paleo/Primal to lose weight, feel better. Had to change the Spark Nutrition tracker for those %s by doing some math. Had them set then after about a week the tracker reset those. So I had to figure out the math again but this time I put it in a MS Word document.
My breakdown for 1200-1550 daily calories using those rations is Carbs 60-77 gms, Fat 53-68 gms - Protein 120-155 gms.
Some of my challenges is eating enough protein without going over my carbs & fat limits. So I have eaten Tilapia, Tuna, Sadines, Shrimp, eggs, protein powder drink.
Yesterday I made the FatFlush soup which makes 10-12 servings, added recipe to my Spark cookbook and then to my nutrition tracker yesterday, today, and tomorrow for Lunch & Dinner. It's yummy and filling. I still need more protein so Tilapia fillets (8oz) added for yesterday's dinner and today's lunch. Not sure what protein I will have for tomorrow's lunch.
I do have atleast one cheat day during the weekend.
Today I am also adding 0 calorie drink before each meal. 2 tsp of Braggs Organic Apple Cider (must contain the mother), minimum 8 oz of purified or distilled water & optional to taste 1-2 tsp organic honey or 100% maple or 4 drops of Stevia.
But I am determined to get this excess fat off my body!

I was waiting for today to officially track my weight and measurements. Was disappointed with the scale (only 2 lbs) but pleased that I had at least lost an inch.
My pants feel looser and I don't feel bloated and weighed down.
So I am going to try to fit in walking this week starting today. Looking forward to next Friday to seeing my new measurements!

So glad I am changing what foods I put into my mouth and not following the food pyramid! My body doesn't feel so weighed down! Weight today 141 lbs. Friday is the Weekly Weigh & Measure day for me.
