Had Lunch With Gail For Her Birthday

Gail came over and we went to El Toro for lunch and I said it was for her birthday. We had he buffet and I ate way too much. I left most of the soup and dessert. She dropped me off at the front and I tried two machines to get a paper. When she got to my apartment she had a paper she stopped and got at the little store because she didn't think she had enough quarters. She thought I told her to get a paper but I'd said I'd get one. I'm sure glad she did since I didn't.

  

Slow Day

Had a very slow day but like those days. Didn't get up until almost noon. Morgan wanted me to get up but I turned cartoons on and that distracted her.

Renewed Morgan's Ultimate Wellness Program

I thought they might have marked her chart as sick and not qualify for this program. It expires 11/15/2011. But there was no problem and they let me switch to monthly since I spent more money when I had her in in September than the yearly premium. She seems to be doing fine to me. So I hope that is true and her lungs have recovered the 40% she wasn't able to use. She does sometimes seem to breathe hard but them I'm constantly watching her.

The Seniors Melody Makers sang at the City Hall open house today at noon. We had the biggest crowd ever because people had come for the tour. We had to go through the scanners to get in. Some of us went to the Q Kindness Cafe for lunch . It's just across the street and through the building from the city hall. I've never been there before and its only a couple blocks. I had a chicken sandwich but didn't eat the bun.

The fire drill happened today but we weren't supposed to go down the stairs just stand there I guess. There is lead paint there.

No fire drill

There was supposed to be a fire drill at 3 pm today but nothing happened. I was all convinced I could make it down the stairs since the first thing they do is shut down the elevator. I'm only on the 4th floor not the 11th like my last apartment.

Concert tomorrow at City Hall. Singing mostly patroitic songs. Lunch afterwards for $13.
