Walked with the Senior Walking group

Friday, June 10, 2011

But not as far as the rest. For some reason the top of my right foot hurt so much I was almost limping or at least not walking correctly. It's probably arthritis because I've had it before. It's made my right knee really hurt.

I guess I got waylaid about 6 hours. Dawn got here, Coborns delivered, and I talked to Bailey.

Ouch! Glad you stopped before you injured something further!
Have you had it checked-out?

Made it to chorus practice

Thursday, June 09, 2011

I made it to chorus practice today. They got new music last week when I missed and mine was in the cabinet which is easier than picking up music from the table with bunches of others trying to do the same thing. We don't have anything scheduled all summer which is strange. I thought the economy was supposed to be getting better. LOL. Maybe it's because some of what we do is tied to state?? and they are headed to shutdown July 1st unless those stubborn people can agree on a budget. We practiced some of the new music and will continue to do so. It's music we got donated from 3M when their chorus was eliminated and it's always fun to sing something new. All was familiar songs.

Cooling down from 103%

Wednesday, June 08, 2011

It's amazing how quickly it's going to cool off from those 100's. Tomorrow in the 60's. I guess Spring has those fluctuating temps. Not that I've been affected that much because I don't have to go out and I didn't when it was so hot.

The Doctors have smoking causing health problems on and they show what could happen and it seems to shock people into quitting.

Stressed Out

Tuesday, June 07, 2011

Gail told me last night she and Neil had discussed it and she'd like to give our 60 day notice to move July 1st. I asked if they'd sold their house because I knew as soon as that happened we would need to. I guess they haven't sold their house but also knew they had placed a bid, dickered, and bid was accepted on the house they want to move to. I have applied at Senior housing but that takes awhile to get into. I've gone through my closet but haven't really done much to go through my stuff. I'll be moving into a much smaller place so need to downsize. Not to mention the eventual packing up. Gail has said if I didn't have a place I could stay in their basement until I got one but that's out in Kimball and all my stuff is in St Paul. I don't want to move at all let alone twice. I went down and checked with the office because I was pretty sure you have to give the notice by the end of the month not the 1st. Which it is. Once it starts the new month you can give your notice at any time to the end of the month but you are responsible for the rent 2 months after the end of the month you give the notice. Of course I didn't jump up and start sorting. I talked to Bailey twice and got the mail besides going to talk to the office. And called the place I've applied.

Sleepless, Spasms

Monday, June 06, 2011

I had trouble sleeping last night. Morgan woke me up at least 3 times and woke up having to pee at least 2 times more. I had some pains and even had a full body spasm. I was dreaming I think when I was kicking at something and felt real pain when all I kicked was the covers. So today I'm kind of dragging.
