Well,You Can Guess Who Won-Wasn't Me !! But the shame of it was.....

Tuesday, March 30, 2010

Well, the Biggest Loser competition in my MOMs Club is over after 2 mos. and the HCG dieter won--24 lbs.. It came as no surprise to me, but though I did well--got on the scale yesterday and I did 14.6 lbs. loss--in 2mos/1wk's time {which I think is GREAT!--I'm hitting the 170s now--haven't been there in a LONG time-- 11 yrs. to be exact!!} But the shame of it is that the second -in-line was a WW gal who started last August for herself and finally met her goal Saturday--before her birthday-60 lbs. total/20 in these past 2 mos.--should have got it!!! It will be interesting to see how everyone is doing in a month or two... I'll be here ~~ and happy to be losing!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

It may be difficult not to feel smug in a few months when you continue to be successful & the "winner" has regained it all. Happy to be Sparking!

I'm sorry you didn't win, but you still won anyway by getting healthier. I have been reading a blog of a HCG dieter and it doesn't sound very healthy to me. Anyway, congrats on trying anyway, and any loss is a WIN!

Oh,what a difference a day {and a night of uninterrupted sleep!}makes!!!!

Sunday, March 28, 2010

Yesterday was a sleepy day for me--even fell asleep for an hour during his nap and then woke to get my workout in!!! Was happy :) with myself for doing that!! emoticon I'm finding my body is WANTING TO WORKOUT or even BE ACTIVE every day!!! My toddler woke Daddy in the middle of the night ,with a murmur of "Daddy" ,but went back to sleep! I'm so proud of my hubby helping me through this time of transition of losing weight ;he's so helpful and supportive. We're looking into a treadmill that will support at least 250 lbs. and lets us each run on it every day. If you have a recommendation .let me know!! I want to be able to get my "run" in daily through rainy days, toddler naps and the 'unexpected" so I can continue with my cardio. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Uninterrupted sleep? Now, what is that again? Seriously, its great to a good night's sleep. As far as the treadmill, happy shopping. I need a new one, but it will be fall or more likely next spring before I get unless I find one for a supergood price at a yard sale. It could happen. I had (well still have actually) a Pro-form crosswalk which worked admirably until it stopped working so well. I was 248 when I started using it. I paid $25 from my SIL, who used it along with my niece, at one point. It's problems stem more from being store improperly than from any fault of the treadmill, I think. It had been kept for at least two years in a carport type shed before I got it. During my use, it has been stored on a leaky screen in porch. I have no idea of original cost, but am fairly certain that it is a least ten years old. I hope this helps.

I think that sleep is very important to our lifestyle goals! I went out with my fiancee and bought a memory foam matress pad! This was our Christmas gift to each other and boy does it make you feel like you are sleeping on cloud 9! I love it!
Anyway, good luck with achieving your goals and stay true to yourself always!

very cool... I would love a night of uninterupted sleep. As far as the treadmill goes I seriously would shop around if you have the places to look. I have spent way too much money on stuff that just not right. Trying to save a penny for a very expensive donation. I hope others in here can help with this.

It's Been A Hard Day's Night And My Toddler's Been Keeping Me UP!!!!!!!

Saturday, March 27, 2010

What a windy day it is today besides being bleary-eyed from an up-all-l=night w/the toddler.....No, he's not sick,or having an earache. It's temper tantrum time and he thinks Mommy or daddy can sleep w/ him all night! There was no storm that woke him...He's just in that " I don't want to stage! {Funny, I know some adults that never left that stage as I recognize it now}! Anyway, got most of my workouts in and maybe we'll do chalk pictures or playing t-ball in the garage if the wind doesn't die down....He still takes a nap every afternoon, but didn't get much off one yesterday--left the zoo @ 1pm;he felasleep on way home-1 hr. nap. Aaaaahhhh, the joys of parenthood!!!----But I STILL wouldn't change anything;I DO LOVE being a mommy! It's just if it were easy, everybody'd do it!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am right there with you in the toddler issues. I took mine to preschool Fri and an hour later they called me to come get him b/c he wouldn't stop crying. Good thing we are becoming healthier to keep up with them emoticon
