    We were camping, and while there, we picked up all the broken glass the last campers left from their broken beer bottles. Camp sure looked better when we left!

Checking My Daily Calorie Differential ~

I listed this as one of my early Secrets of Success~ It helps me stay on track SO MUCH! After eating breakfast, I will be exercising through the day and get hungry.When I am hungry,I know I need to check my Nutrition Tracker because I am not getting enough food at that time. Besides checking my Nutrition Tracker to see what nutrients I need for that day,I like to check my Daily Calorie Differential~It is listed under" Reports "in the toolbar [when you are using the Nutrition tracker] and it helps me see the amt. of calories I expend for my exercise as well as calories I am consuming! Thanks SP for having such a helpful device!
Note: It is NOT good if you use this device to check ALL the time ,constantly.~I use it maybe 1-2 x a day when I need it! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I Did Well! ~eating wise yesterday~even though...[with soccer cake photo!]

I am proud of myself !Yesterday I was baking & decorating a soccer-shaped birthday cake for a client [we have a home-based business~BetsyKScrapbooks,Crafts and Creations.com] and the whole while I was on my feet for 2 and 1/2 hours decorating ,I made it a point to keep on track with the calories and eating wise and only went 13 cals.OVER my target range~even though I was LOW on the fat =25! {I got my Morning Mile run in earlier that day!}.
My hubby is now jumping aboard the"count your calories and keep track of them daily "wagon~not on SP ,but with an iPod. Anyway,I am HAPPY to see him HAPPY that he is starting to exercise and watch those cals. {as they add up}!!!! And the weight is slowly coming off for him~~~Isn't it interesting when we start to lose the weight,how much "weight of WORRY" is lifted from us as well?!

I added on to my Morning Mile Run/Walk today~instead of 1 mile ,did 2.40!!!!!

I just hadn't thought of it before....add a little more distance a little at a time! So today instead of my usual mile run/walk [ I walk to warm up ,then get in my mile "run"[really jogging!] ,then walk to cool down, so I call it a "run/walk"! Plus if I get tired and can't run the mile for whatever reason,I make SURE to finish a mile with a combination of running some and then walking it~! So today I started on my mile and pushed myself to go 1 mile and a half ,then walk the rest of the way. My total was 2 .40 miles!!!!! YAY!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I Can DO it~Run that hill...Little by little!!!!!

Well, it may not sound like MUCH,but to it is to ME! I finally have conquered a hill on our trail that leads to the park. I always tried to keep up with my hubby and run it continuously ,but always had to emoticonand give up~out of breath and energy! And that was 13 years ago! Now I have CONQUERED that hill--yes,it IS a hill--- by doing a little more each day and before I knew it , I was JOGGING up the hill continuously!!!!! I have yet to RUN continuously up the hill,but I am satisfied with my progress for now. One time I had to jog AND PUSH my preschooler on a bike w/training wheels up that hill and I never stopped!

If we have a goal in mind for our fitness and keeping pushing towards it, it will eventually give!Remember~safe goals and emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
