Raspberry Ketone

I have been back on the wagon with exercising for the past 2 weeks. It's been going good. I am doing at least 1 video a day, mixing it up between Jillian Michaels, Brazil Butt Lift and Just Dance or Zumba for Wii. I'm really feeling the burn every day and I feel like I am getting a great workout.

I have always been good about being active, unless I am sick (the flu had me doing nothing for over a month!) I can't seem to get the results I want and I always feel like the more I workout, the more I can eat junk. On Saturday, I started taking Raspberry Ketone. I know, I never use any kind of weight loss supplements, but Raspberry Ketone is supposed to be natural and I figured a little help wouldn't be horrible.

I took my first dose on Saturday. I had forgotten about it earlier in the day, so I took 2 pills before dinner. Within a half hour, I felt like I ate a horse. We sat down to eat dinner and I already felt full. I ate half a chicken breast, some yams and green beans for dinner, and then I didn't eat anything for the rest of the night. The bad thing was it made me shaky, my heart was racing a little, and I was up until 3am. I'm not used to caffeine!

Sunday I again forgot to take it before lunch, but I woke up still feeling full. I ate a protein bar for breakfast just so I had some food in me, and then had a 6" sub for lunch. I decided to take only 1 pill before dinner so maybe the caffeine wouldn't affect me so much. I had no issues with 1 pill at all. It didn't seem to make me feel as full though, but I was still careful about what I ate. I did end up having a snack after dinner. I made sure it was healthy - an organic apple with organic peanut butter.

With working out, eating right, and the extra boost from the Raspberry Ketone, I am hoping to start seeing the results I want! I am not overweight, really I just want to lose about 15 pounds and tone my body.

    I know people who have used them and lost weight. Honestly, taking these supplements goes against everything I believe in, but I figured I'd try them and see how it goes. I'd rather not use them, but even with exercise and eating right, I can't seem to get the results I want, so I thought I'd give it a try and see if these work for me.

    I just read an article on here on Raspberry Ketone and it said that it was never tested on humans, only lab rats so there is no proof of it actually helping humans. I am not sure where I found it, but it's worth a read.

Aside from that, sounds like you had a good weekend. :)

I had all these goals for the year, and I was doing really well for most of the year. I achieved a lot of goals in 2012! I earned my black belt, I walked the 60 mile Susan G. Komen walk, I got RAD certified! It was great because everything I wanted to do had to do with fitness. I logged a lot of fitness minutes, including walking 524 miles in training before the 60 mile walk.

After the walk, I decided to give myself a week to just rest and recover. I spent a lot of time on the couch icing my knee, which swelled and had a lot of pain after the walk. It was nice to have that time to just relax and not exert energy. I guess I got a little too comfortable though because a week turned into another week and another week. The only exercise I got was the nights I went to karate, and that was only 1 or 2 nights a week. Before the walk, I was doing cardio and walking and karate every day!

I let things slide for 2 months, and I'm really feeling pretty bad. It's amazing how 2 months of not doing much other than the normal housework can make such an impact. I feel like I've lost all the muscle tone I had and I'm not happy with how I look at all.

How am I going to change this? In January, my husband and I are going to start TapOut XT together. I'm going to plan on at least 10 minutes of exercise a day everyday in 2013. I'm going to pick up my guitar and play it again. I'm going to be more active! I feel better when I am active and I let the last 2 months get away without much activity at all. I won't let that happen again!!!


Brazil Butt Lift: Week 4

I have completed the 4 week Brazil Butt Lift Slim and Lift workout schedule. I followed it to a T...I did each exercise on the days they were supposed to be done. In the beginning, I was having a hard time fitting it into my schedule, but by week 3, I was much better about making time to do the workouts.

The most difficult part of the schedule were the days I have to do Sculpt and Cardio Axe together, mainly because Sculpt is 50 minutes and Cardio Axe is 30 minutes. It's not easy to fit 80 minutes in when I already have a ton of stuff to do. But I managed and got through it.

Bum Bum is the most difficult video for me because my knees are bad and the lunges really aren't good for my knees. I have found myself getting through it a little easier than I was in the beginning.

Now, for the results. After 4 weeks of doing BBL, I have lost 2 inches in my waist, 1/2 and inch in my thighs, 1/2 an inch in my butt and 2.5 pounds. I have noticed my body has changed. The real changes happened when I started eating better, which I did in weeks 3 and 4. I've been logging everything I eat, staying within my limits, eating more fruits and veggies, and holding myself accountable for what I put in my body. Had I been eating better since week 1, I would have probably had better results.

I'm happy that my body is changing! I'm happy to be doing these videos every day. My goal is to go another 4 weeks and see where that gets me. Between the videos and eating better, I'm hoping to get better results!!


Brazil Butt Lift: Week 3

Sunday marked week 3 of the Brazil Butt Lift workout. I'm noticing some changes that I am pretty happy with! I have more definition in my abs, and clothes that were tight on me before are fitting much better! I'm starting to see some great results!

In addition to the workouts that I have been following exactly as they are laid out in the book, I am still doing karate at least twice a week, walking when I can fit it in, and I started tracking everything I eat again. I am holding myself accountable for everything I put in my body! I eat less junk when I track my food because I feel guilty about logging junk food. I definitely eat healthier when I am logging everything.

I am excited to see what week 4 is going to bring, and I also have to do new measurements, pictures and my weight on Sunday.

Befit012 - I do like them. I'd have to say Bum Bum I am kind of torn on because my knees can only take so many lunges, but I do get an awesome workout from it so I can't say I hate it. I also like that there are 5 different workouts so you aren't doing the same thing every day. The only thing I find that is difficult on some days is finding an hour to get through it. But seeing results is keeping me super motivated! Not sure I'm going to post the pictures yet. It depends on how good my after pics are LOL!

Brazil Butt Lift: Week 2

I made it through week 2 of the Brazil Butt Lift video workout. I did much better with doing my workouts in the morning and not waiting until 9:00 pm to do them. Some days are easier to fit in the workouts than others.

I really enjoy the workouts and I like that they mix it up so your not always doing the same videos day after day. The music from Cardio Axe is stuck in my head, and when I hear it it makes me want to move around and dance. It's funny, when I hear the music in my head I picture the video. It's not a bad thing I guess.

I am looking forward to starting week 3 tomorrow!

In addition to the videos, I plan on eating better. With Easter, I didn't do very good, so I am hoping to fix that this week! Let's hope I have more willpower!!
