One more road block to hurdle over.

Wednesday, November 26, 2014

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. I just had to hurdle over several things on this journey. I was told I have MS which started all this out. Then my sister died got over all this in a yrs time. I worked hard to take the weight off and took 30 lbs of it off I only needed to lose 10 more lbs.. Then my father got sick and had a heart attack and ended up in the hospital so because I'm the oldest I become responsible for my parents health then we found out he has Dimentia brought on by the Parkinson's Disease then he got sick again and was told he has to wear a catheter the rest of his life because his bladder isn't emptying fully on its own so we had to put him in a nursing home. Glad to say were bringing him home tomorrow for Thanksgiving for a few hours. Then another hurdle was I was told that I have Anemia. I'm losing blood somewhere inside and I'm Iron defficient. I am pleased to say that since starting a holiday challenge on my team Daily Fitness Challenge I have lost a total of 6 lbs. Now this next hurlde is hard to deal with. I have asthma with allergies and COPD and my breathing capacity is at 65% so I was telling him how in September I was doing the 4 mile Walk Away the Pounds video everyday except Saturday and Sunday. Then everything hit me and now I'm trying to lose this weight again so I'm naturally turning to WATP video but I'm barely able to do the 1 mile express WATP video. I was having a bad pain in my left side of my chest thought I was gonna have a heartattack so he told me my airways are constricted so he gave me a different inhaler and a steroid told me to use my rescue inhaler 20 mins before exercise. I tried it yesterday and it worked no pain in my chest but I still don't have the endurance to make it past the 1 mile. I'm gonna emoticon because emoticon . Happy Thanksgiving my friends.

Take it easy. Don't push too hard all @ once. Glad you're on a new inhaler that's helping!

HUGS Happy Thanksgiving sweetie.

Starting over for the third time

Monday, November 10, 2014

Yup this is the third time of losing these lbs.
I want to apologize to my teammates n friends for not being active o here since September.
My Dad has Parkisons disease with Dimentia. He got so bad that he couldn't get out of bed. He had pneumonia n a urinary tract infection so he got real delerious so I said it was time he go to a nursing home. My mother couldn't do it any longer. So she called 911 n they came n got him n on the way to the hospital he had a heart attack. Then while in the hospital we found out he has a lot of blood clots in his legs so they started him on coumadin to break up the clots n then he started bleeding out. They had to give him 4 pints of blood in 2 wks time. They still don't know where its coming from BC he refused the scope tests to find out where its at. So they took him ooff the coumadin n put him bck on aspirin. He has a slow leak somewhere. Well he's in the nursing home now n doin better but still bleeding somewhere n his Dementia is getting worse by the day. This all happened in September. I started getting to where I'm accepting that I'm losing my Dad then I have my routine blood work done in October n found out I too am bleeding somewhere inside. So now I have to see a Hematologist n have to have a scope done down to the stomach n a colonoscopy to see where its coming from. I've just been real stressed, depressed, n unmotivated.
I want to lose this weight again but I know this time round its going to b very hard.

You have had a terrible couple of months. At least you're doing all you can to continue having quality of life. I hope they find what's causing the bleeding.

Keep fighting.

    Theresa,
You're such a dear heart and so sorry to hear about your dad. I know that having you as a daughter is a big blessing to him even though sometimes he may be unaware in his spirit, he knows you're there for him. You're in my prayers, dear friend. I've gained almost 10 lbs back too, so I understand but we're not going to give up we're gonna keep pushing forward . . . a day at a time.

Antonette

Take things a day at a time or even a step at a time.
You're making good decisions to lose the weight.
Celebrate every victory no matter how small!

My mom was diagnosed with dementia some 5 years ago - very sorry to hear about your dad.

Hang in there. You can do it!
Good luck.

My 10 min fitness streak of 50+ days

Friday, August 01, 2014

emoticon I'm doing it. emoticon
Today is Day 8. I've done a week full of exercise. I'm aiming for at least 10 mins but I'm doing alot more each day. The days I have Physical Therapy I don't get in as much bc they work me to exhaustion. I'm so weak when I come out of there I come home and relax. Here in a few I'm putting my walking sneakers on and heading out the door to walk around my tiny town. Its 1.3 miles from my door around town back to my door. Yesterday I walked 1.76 miles around. I want to work up to twice completely around. I'll do it emoticon just gotta emoticon.
