Hard Work Yields Results!

Today was my week one weigh in, and I lost almost two pounds. It has been difficult sticking to eating healthy and exercising every day, but the hard work has payed off! I am proud of myself, and I have not felt that way in months. My daughters are on the healthy kick with me, and they have been eating fruits and vegetables every day. I try to do exercises that they can do with me. Week one was a success, and I am determined to work as hard for week two!

    Congratulations on your 2 lb weight loss!
I also started about a week ago and lost 2 lbs. Walking with my husband has been my main exercise so far. I did the wall push ups and thought they were pretty easy but boy did I feel them the next day!

Biggest Loser

Today we started a work version of the Biggest Loser. I am excited to have people to inspire me to work out and eat healthier. Today was the base weight weigh in day, and I am ready to lose! We weigh in once a week, and help motivate each other the rest of the week. It is a great morale booster! My kids and my husband are a big help to stay on track at home. I have 15 more pounds to lose to be at my high school weight, and I am determined to get there! Wish me luck!

Role Model

I am focued on getting healthier! I am a mother of three, and I realize that I have an important responsibility to my children to be a healthy role model. My children are my biggest fans on my healthy journey. They cheer me on every time I exercise. My son pushes me to do my best, and I work hard because I do not want to disappoint him. My two younger daughters try to work out with me, and I know that I am setting an example for them to follow. Every time I don't feel like working out, I think of them and how I am letting them down. My kids are my motivation because I want to be healthy and be a part of their lives for a long time!

    Yaaayyy! I know how you feel - my son is only 4 and is trying to help me find ways of exercising better. He really helps me stay on track with what's important - being able to play with him!

Back on track!

After losing two grandparents in less than three months, I fell of the SparkPeople wagon. I began my journey in January, and I lost 19 pounds and felt stronger than ever! The difficult losses of two important people led me to stray from my personal goals of losing weight and becoming healthy. I am now on day two of my new journay, and I am determined to achieve my goals!
