a beautiful sunny day here today! i feel great! i did not give in to the temptation of some cookies today. instead, i had a juicy apple. my daughter is doing well in school and says hi to all of mommy's many friends. my birds are enjoying the sunny weather today. i saw two cardinals sitting on one of my neighbour's trees this morning, for a few minutes. what a beautiful sight that was! where i live, i can see and hear several different kinds of birds. have a great day,everyone!

my day is going really well so far. spent some time yesterday with my daughter at the library and we both really enjoyed it. i have a job interview tomorrow for a temporary position. i also heard from another place that wants to have a phone interview with me regarding another job i applied for recently. i am making sure that i have some really nice clothes to wear tomorrow. my friend is willing to have me stay at her place if i need to get to a job interview closer to where she is. i just have to let her know if i need to do that. i would do the same for her if she had an interview where i live. my birds are doing well and say hi to all! have a wonderful day,everyone!

a cool,cloudy day

very cool and cloudy here today! i'm getting caught up on some laundry, then my daughter and i are off to spend some time outside. my birds are doing well and say hi! in the food that my daughter got from school a few days ago, there were fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, plums, oranges, some potatoes, lettuce, broccoli, a fresh pineapple, and some tasty apples. it was worth it to get that from her school this month. i will most definitely get it again next month. have a great day,everyone!

I'm dying to know ....what kind of birds? I grew up with a Parrot who adopted a kitten. We never clipped her wings. She would fly over to the dining room table and the 2 of them would play tag (the cat jumping from seat to seat underneath...the parrot flying from chair to chair on top...until the cat would finally try to stalk her and reach up and try to tap her on her tummy). The door to the cage was never closed. Came home one day to find the cat had mysteriously managed to get into the cage (sitting there smug as can be) and the parrot was furious sitting outside on top. animals are amazing Report Inappropriate Comment

full sunshine and mild weather here today! woo hoo! plenty of outdoor time for me and for my daughter today. she has her library after school activity today. she is really looking forward to it. i am getting better at not giving in to my extra sweet food cravings. i take it day to day and it is working out well. my birds say hi to everyone. have a great day,all!
