My New Goal

Our anniversary is March 22 which is 60 days away. I weighed 181 yesterday and my goal is to be 175 in 60 days. That would be a 6 pound loss and seems ridiculously easy but to me it will be very hard as I have been the same weight for over 2 years and have tried off and on continually and my weight just won't budge.
I am going to blog about my progress each week and maybe more often to see if that helps me get to my goal!

    Good goal, attainable, and yet something you have to work for because you have been stuck for quite awhile. I have been bouncing on and off the same 10 lbs for 3 years...time to lose it!

Not Doing Good!

Yesterday I came home from my son's field trip and ate some fudge peanut butter bars and milk and felt like I blew it. I then had a protein shake and a lettuce salad for supper along with a few bites of the rest of the family's meal.]
Today I was in town and bought some of the lower priced donuts and pastries at the front of Walmart that I always notice and figured this time I would get some for my family. I came home and ate one and snitched some more! Where is my self control? Why can't I do this?

    It's hard. When the stuff is in the house it's hard to resist. Maybe the family could join you in eating healthy.

Wednesday Morning Update

I am going to keep track of my food and the points since I like the Weight Watchers program and have everything to do that with, for today, Thursday and Friday, for sure!
This morning I had my regular grits for 3 points and egg for 2. Then I have coffee with 1 point used for the creamer. Well, I did have 1/2 of a cappuccino muffin with cream cheese espresso spread! I skipped it last night when I made them for my family, but this morning they were eating them for breakfast and I ate half of one and I was not intending to. I have 19 points left for the day and will be eating at Taco Bell for lunch since I am going to Meier Gardens with my sons class today. I looked it up and a Fresco style ranchero chicken taco is 4 points. I just am not sure if that is enough food to keep me going without getting light headed.

I challenged myself to walk a mile for 5 days a week. The first day I push mowed for an hour, an old push mower that pushes hard, and the second day I walked a mile and I'm headed out right now with my daughter to get my mile done for the day!

How Do I Get My Motivation Back

I am motivated part of the time, then I get side tracked and don't pay attention for a while which just keeps me at the same weight. I thought If I set a goal for everyone to see maybe I'd stay at it better. I'm going to walk a mile a day for 5 days and will either blog or update on my page when I have walked my mile for the day.

    GO TO GOOGLE SEARCH AND PUT IN YOUTUBE VIDEO "NEVER, EVER GIVE UP". I BOOKMARKED IT AND EVERY TIME I LOSE MY MOJO, I WATCH IT AGAIN AND IT WORKS EVERY TIME. I HAVE BEEN CONSTANTLY LOSING FOR WEEKS!
