Powerful Life Changing Video

Came across this video today and usually don't take the time to wait for it to download on my slow Internet connection. I am so glad I did today. This message is so powerful and just what I have been needing to here for awhile. I think it is about ten minutes long.

If is wonderful that you chose to share that with us! Many people see God as weak when it comes to solving our problems or as distant when we are in the midst of a problem! (me too) But we forget that before we were created, HE IS! Every aspect of our world is a result of his power, wisdom and grace! As He waits for us to turn to Him for His solution to our problems, we struggle as though we are alone!

I will have faith that what I am going through is what it takes to chisel away what doesn't belong an realize that when He is done with me, that what will be left is His Master Piece!

The 1 thief next to Jesus admitted that his reason for being placed on the cross was for crimes he had committed! Jesus responded that on that day he would be with Him in Paradise!

I too recognize that the struggles of my life are due to my failures! I seek God's guidance daily and when the work is done, I know that what He had planned in the beginning will be what I shall receive in accordance with His grace and Love through Christ Jesus! I lay my burdens at His feet as I take up my cross to make the changes to become more like Him!

How to Change the World

These words were engraved on the tombstone of an Anglican bishop burried in Westminster Abbey in 1100 AD.

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.

I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.

When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town.

I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself,

and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself,

I could have made an impact on my family.

My family and I could have made an impact on our town.

Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

So let me start with the man in the mirror and who knows I may change the world.
