It is hard to beleive! When I started my weight loss I just wanted to eat healthy and exercise, and told my husband if I only lost 10 lbs a year it would be wonderful, since I had been gaining about 10 per year the last few. So, if I take the 35 I lost so far and and the 10 I didn't gain it is super great. And while I did find the weight loss to be soooo rewarding I really did have a change of heart about the weight loss, next thing I knew I was wanting to lose it all this year. Now I have been pretty much stuck here at 35 and feeling very good about what I have acheived. Now, I hope I am ready to lose more, I really don't feel as happy about still being 50 lbs over weight as I did! It felt so good to throw out all those old clothes and get into smaller ones, have everyone telling my how good I was looking, the new has worn off and I need more!

Thanksgiving Decorations/199

Monday, November 30, 2009

I told a Spark Friend I would take pics of my Thanksgiving decorations and finally got them taken, just before taking them down to decorate for Christmas so here they are a virtual tour of our home.

This bear welcomes you as you walk up the ramp

Hubby hard at work, this table was cleaned off on the Sunday before Thanksgiving

I love a fire

I change my shower curtain monthly

Okay the long awaited pic taken on Saturday although it was 199.8 on Thanksgiving!

Your home looks so warm and inviting. Your young military man may have missed Thanksgiving dinner with his family, but it looks like he is finding "family" amongst you and yours - how nice.

I love your pics! Can't believe you change the shower curtain monthly. Dedicated!

Again, I am soooooo excited that you are under 200#.

Listening to/for the Holy Spirit is one of the trickiest parts of being Christian.

Loved the decorations and the scale pics! WooHoo Leona!!

And yes, I agree if someone comes to mind I've learned/learning to pray for them and contact them...there's always a reason the Lord has brought them to mind! What an awesome God we serve!!

You Have to Keep On Going

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

One step won't take you very far
You've got to keep on walking
One word won't tell folks who you are,
You have to keep on talking.
One foot won't make you very tall,
You have to keep on growing
One trip to church won't tell you all,
You Have To Keep On Going!

One day won't keep you from your goals,
You have to keep on going
One good choice keeps you on roles
You have to keep on going!

Okay mine doesn't fit so well, but you get the idea, I will keep on going.

Not sure what is going on, but the chiropractor said the nerves to my lower extremeties are being blocked. He tried several things tonight so we will see how tomorrow is. This is nothing new, just not quite sure why it is happening again. I am missing up to 70 percent of the muscle in my back and through core strengthening we are learning how to compensate for it. The medical field still says there is nothing wrong with me. There is a slight chance of reversing it, but it will be 5 to 10 years if I can. So I just am continuing on with what I can and am learning how to minimize the problem by getting as healthy as I can. This did not come as a surprise to God and He will see me through.

Hope you feel better soon. That can be kind of scary but if traditional chiropractic doesn't work for you after awhile come see me. I have someone that I think would work and I'd love to tell you about him. He's a doc in the valley.

As always knowing God is in control and resting in Him makes all the difference in our attitudes towards the things that we face every day. I'm praying for you. We are in a marathon and not a sprint. As God says keep your eye on the prize as you run this race. Thanks for the reminder that "you have to keep on going"!

I hope that they can figure out what is going on and help you to feel better. I don't understand how you can be missing so much muscle and they say nothing is wrong. Is there anything they can do to unblock the nerves? Does it cause you alot of pain? Thanks for being such an inspiration to keep moving forward. Kel

Biggest Looser Outfit Pics

Saturday, October 31, 2009

All right I am prefacing these pics, my family is a little crazy!

Getting ready!

Didn't think these showed well the loss, so we tried some different things!

Dear Hubby decided to help!

There he sits so innocent!

The people at work could not believe that I use to be this big. A few remembered me wearing it several years ago, most are new since then.

Left Obeseville behind

Saturday, October 24, 2009

Yep that's right. After going to bed way too late and sleeping in until 10 o'clock. I decided to weigh myself on the Wii and it said I reached my goal and I am only overweight! I am so happy! So I set my next goal for loosing 10 pounds which will put me under 200. So if I can keep this off until my normal weigh in day I will also leave 210ville behind.
