Insanity

I have started working as an Independent Team Beachbody coach. And as such they want you to be "a product of the product."
So for my workouts which will officially start 10-24-11 -that is 6 weeks for my foot to have healed-I will be doing Shaun T's Insanity. You have probably seen the infomertials in the middle of the night.

Sick and tired

Have a stress fracture in my foot. Really dragging me down- cant really workout. When I don't workout I can't sleep. Sooooooo my body thinks it can still eat like I am working out........ that is all causing a viscous cycle which is making me depressed along with other things that are going on. Just need another outlet! emoticon

    So sorry for your dilemna. Not sleeping is the pits and will make you depressed if you aren't already. You might want to try joining the Better Sleep SparkTeam to see if it helps.

Also, I find when I can't do it all, I can still do some things. Are you drinking your water? Are you eating at least 5 fruits/veggies? Is there anything else positive you can do?

Don't give up. If you keep trying, you will make it. Hang in there. It isn't always easy, but living healthy is definitely worth it. Be good to yourself. Take care. -Marsha

I am really enjoying being a personal trainer vs being a nurse. Hours are better, it is a lot more fun but don't make the money I was making. NOt looking forward to having to do nursing but guess I have to start doing it soon. Can't make my self do the nurse thing-Thank goodness my job is PRN.

Have joined a group on Facebook that is helping to keep me motivated in my workouts. Got real aggrevated this AM when I walked into the gym-same people doiong same tired workout EVERY day-muscles get no rest but they don't want to listen so what's a person to do???

On to the next part of my day-I am trying once again to get back into running but my endurance is horrible. Get out of breath very quickly so am trying to build back up. Actually jogged for 1/2 mile today so I guess I will slowly build from there.

QUADS-WOW

WELL NOW............

Wish my booty would do what my quads have done! Have started working on powerlifting. Increasing weight I lift in my regular workouts as well.

Now for at least 6 months have been trying to actually get at least a bump in the flatlandscape of my backside- squats, lunges anything free weight/body weight based. And evidently the quads have been grabbing ALL the muscular development because all of a sudden my jeans cannot get up over them. So go up a size-nope still wont work-1 more size up-ok they are tight but they are up-man are they too baggy at waist and saggy at booty!

So tomorrow have to do something about the squats sooooooooooo quads quit grabbing everything. BOX SQUATS-so not looking forward to that since I really consider squats as my most unfavorite weight training exercise ever! emoticon emoticon

    Awww...hope you achieve your goal. Look for the lie down machine at the gym where your butt is in the air and you are doing calf raises. It totally helps with pumping the butt up. Hope this helps. Keep sparking!

WOW! Dont usually do prefab workouts but decided to try this one. Because one of my male out of shape friends said he was going to do it. Soooooo talked on of my clients into trying it too. Of course did it at her speed and intensity level and had a really good 10 minute workout. It is a circuit which is meant to be done more than once but it was hard for her but I gotta give her alot of credit for even trying. She is 53 and has just recently started her weight loss journey. We got some good laughs from our goofs-but was a challenge.
