EMERGENCY! March goals

After really not focusing on anything in February (even with my goals) or early March, then going on a trip for work and enjoying the local fare in Charleston SC with abandon and gaining 5lbs while I was there, it's a complete emergency for goal-setting. I'm doing the Shakeology 3-Day reset "cleanse" (message me for more info) and starting to really enjoy the Tropical Strawberry Shakeology. I think the chocolate will always be my favorite, but it's nice to have an alternative since I'm not thrilled with the Greenberry- it's okay, but not my taste.


For the rest of March:

daily devotional (and encourage/help my kids to do theirs)
no soda!!!!!!!
10 minutes of exercise a day- ST or cardio
LOTS of water
at least 2 runs a week
read for at least 15 minutes, 5 nights a week- my books; the kids' books don't count towards that 15 minutes

It's that simple.

Ugh- I didn't handle January well. Good thing it's a new month!

For February:

daily devotional (and encourage/help my kids to do theirs)
no soda
10 minutes of exercise a day
LOTS of water
at least 2 runs a week
read for at least 15 minutes, 5 nights a week

It's that simple.

What's your word?

One of the radio stations I listen to asked listeners to come up with their word for the year, instead of asking what your resolutions are. So...what's your word?

Mine is gentle. I tend to be very hard on myself and sometimes not so nice to the people around me. I will strive to be gentle with myself and others. The word frequently used to describe my Lord & Savior seems like a good one to work for!

This week's plan:

12/25: way too much sodium, soda, wine, cookies, cake, not enough fruit and veggies even if there was some & just plain old having fun & relaxing
12/26: 3.26 mile run, Shakeology for breakfast- DAY 1 of no soda! Zumba!!!!!
12/27: Zumba, day 2 of no soda

12/28: 2 miles
12/29: pilates or Shred
12/30: gym after work- cycle if there is a class available, ST if not
12/31: 5 miles
1/1: First Day 5k

  


Sending 2011 out in style

Today marks the first day of the rest of my life. :) Love waking up in the morning.
Went for a run, & now going to take a shower, go grocery shopping, hit the kids consignment store to get my Baby Girl some skirts & dresses for her upcoming 5th birthday (5?!?!?!!!!!)since she's decided she doesn't ever want to wear pants or jeans again lol and see what they are taking now, clear out some of the kids old clothes that we've been storing, and clean the house. Heading back to work tomorrow- feeling MUCH better even if I'm still coughing.

This week's plan:
