Another day of nice weather, was able to get my walk in earlier today. Went for 20 minutes. Would have liked to have gone a little longer, but not such a good day with the sciatica pain today.
I did short workouts with the stability ball and exercise band too.
All the plants outside are watered, my grocery list for the week is almost done. I'll finish that up, and get my coupons cut out while watching tv tonight.
Trying to decided if I want to do my shopping tomorrow or wait til Wednesday. This will be my last week of physical therapy, I go on Tuesday and Thursday for that. Wednesday was the day my group of friends from my former workplace and I were going to get together for lunch, but one of the gals can't come, so we are trying to figure out another day. Tuesday I also have to get my monthly lab work done for my oncologist.
I have my appointment with him and next treatment on the 28th. I am hoping that if I do still have to see the radiation doctor, that maybe I can wait til August. I just need a break of feeling like I am constantly running to appointments.

Nothing really exciting to report today; just a nice, quiet Saturday.
Did a little bit with my stability ball, exercise band, and 1 pound weights today.
Went for a 20 minute walk tonight.

I went to bed at 10pm last night, I was so exhausted. But, I was able to get up at 7:30am with no problem, and I'm not a morning person either. I had to drop Timmy off at the vet by 10am, for his geriatric exam. Now, I don't consider him a "geriatric cat", since he still acts like a kitten much of the time, but the geriatric exams my vet offers are for cats and dogs starting at age 7 or 8. It's a more thorough exam, and include urinalysis and blood work. It's a good exam to catch diseases early that pets can get as they get older. Anyway, I was out the door with Timmy a little after 9am, after getting him into his carrier. I swear it was like he suddenly grew 4 more legs trying to get him in there, lol. And, I regretted that I put my sunblock on my arms right before that too; I had cat hair stuck all over me.
On the way home, I stopped to have a look around at the Friday Farmer's Market.
I found some more annuals marked down. I bought 3 different varieties of lisianthus, for $2. I had never heard of them before, but they had such pretty blossoms on them, they kind of look like roses. I also got a Prairie Fire ornamental pepper for $1.50, I thought it was an unusual and pretty looking plant. I looked it up online after I got home, and it looks like it will be beautiful when it actually gets peppers on it. But they sound like very hot peppers, so I don't think I will eating any of them. Not with my acid reflux.
Since Family Dollar was right there too, I went in there to have a look around. I got a few more pots and planters as they were really cheap in there.
Around noon , the pet hospital called, and Timmy's blood work was done and they were able to get the urine sample, so I could come and talk to the vet and take him home, (Timmy, not the vet, lol) at 2:30pm. I was getting anxious to go and bring him back home, but I had a few hours to wait yet.
My pedal exerciser that I ordered from QVC arrived today, which I had ordered last week to replace the defective one I returned to Overstock.com. It was almost the same as the first one I had ordered. At least I knew how to assemble it from my experience with the previous one, I didn't even have to look at the directions. I am very happy to report that all the parts went together as they should, and it's a keeper! I tried it out just long enough to see if it works. I haven't really worked out with it yet, I will probably use it on the days I can't get outside to walk.
My hip and leg were feeling a lot better today, so the inflammation from my last injection is finally starting to go away. I did a short work out with my exercise band and stability ball today. I never use to be able to do crunches at all, but now I can if I use the ball. I can only do 8 before I have to stop, but that's still 8 more than I was able to do before I got the ball. I like to do wall squats with the ball too.
I was very glad when it was finally time to go pick up my baby boy! All his lab work was fine, his weight is good, and everything else was good too. I got him home and in the house and let him out of the carrier. Kallie, his sister kitty, hissed at him just like she did last year when he was gone for that. She hisses and spits at him if he just looks her way, or she snubs him. I think it's probably the "hospital smell" on him she doesn't like. Last time, she acted like that for two days, then on the third day, she was back to letting him wash her face. And Timmy is such a gentleman, he won't hiss or spit back at her, even though he is the bigger cat.
I was able to get the stuff planted I bought today. I put the flowers all in one large pot, and the pepper plant in its own little planter.
I had to take a pain pill after my dinner tonight, but it worked pretty quickly, and I was able to get out for a 22 minute walk. It was still kind of hot and humid, so it was a slow walk tonight. When I got back home, there was a nice breeze to cool things off so I sat outside for a half hour to write in my journal and read for a little bit.
I checked the UPS tracking on my computer, it should be here on Tuesday!

My old computer is still running; not perfectly, but at least I can get on the internet and keep up with my Spark stuff.
Really feeling the hip and knee pain today, but I think it is still the inflammation from the epidural injection I had in my spine Tuesday. With previous ones, the pain always got worse for a few days before it got better.
I had my PT today, did mostly the upper body work today. I actually felt better as far as the pain, after my therapy and a few hours after. But I still ended up having to take a pain pill. I also didn't sleep very well last night, so I'm feeling pretty tired between that and the pain meds. But at least I should be able to sleep tonight. My cat Timmy has his yearly checkup tomorrow, so I have to be up in the morning to take him to the vet.
Good new though on the new computer, it will be shipped out on Monday!

My computer crashed this afternoon. It's a Dell, over 6 years old, not worth the money the get repaired, so I am getting a new one. In the meantime, I will try to make this old one last another week or two before I get the new one, but if it crashes again, I probably won't be online. So if I disappear for a week or two, that's why.
About a half hour ago, somehow I was able to get my browser up and running, so I can get online, but that's it. My wallpaper is still there, but all my shortcut icons and START button are gone. I can't get into any of my other programs. The only thing I can use is my browser and the internet.
Hip is quite painful today, and I think it's something to do with the injection I had yesterday. I don't believe it was my physical therapy, as I only did upper body work for my workout yesterday. I had to take 2 pain pills today, and I haven't taken that many in a day since before I started my PT.
I did get something accomplished though. I was so frustrated from the computer, I had to just walk away from it for a few hours and find other things to do. I made both cats a little padded mat for each of their cat carriers, I had that project planned for this week anyway. I bought the batting for it last week. It didn't take long for me to finish them once I got started.
I also made myself a nice dinner, tried a new Hungry Girl recipe for a basil tomato chicken dish, and steamed some fresh yellow squash for a side dish.
I also went outside and watered all the plants.
