I've been feeling the chemo fatigue setting in again; it's hard getting going in the mornings. Even if I can sleep in, around 7am my stomach starts feeling "gnawy" and I can't relax and fall back asleep, yet I don't have the energy to want to get out of bed either. So I usually lay there about a half hour then I get up take my stomach meds. I have to take my Protonix a half hour before breakfast, and then my ethromycin 15 minutes before a meal, so once I take my meds I might just as well stay up. Today I stayed in bed til around 8:45am.
Kallie had her vet appointment today; just her annual shots and check up. It went fine, even got her into the carrier with no problems. The pet hospital is less than a 5 minute drive from my house; I was back home again within 20 minutes. Wish my own doctor appointments went that quick!
One of my friends took me to radiation today; they are still doing the hip; I finish with that on December 13th if I figured right. Today they started the spine too; that one will be 2 weeks. That one is harder; I have to lay with my arms up above my head, which is very uncomfortable for me, and today it took twice as long because they had to take an x-ray before the actual treatment. I think tomorrow I will try taking a muscle relaxer before I go and see if that makes me more comfortable.
Here is a photo of the crocheted hats I tried to post yesterday.
